Shoe glue would have been a better call for those used shoes. Glad you got to use that boat! Loved the last year of couch surfing, but back on the water is where I enjoy you both the most. Safe travels!

Wow. Could not have happened to a nicer couple than you two. I am following Cat Greatcircle and has sooo much respect for not only the boat, but the Outremer Company as well. They had an accident and Outremer flew parts and people out to fix their boat. Just last week again Outremer are doing warranty work on their boat, a year later, but on the OTHER side of the world. They regularly capture pics of their instruments and speeds of just on 20knts is common. Great Enjoy I would love to follow you for honest reviews as an ambassador for Outremer.

Good luck to you both. What a deal and opportunity. I bet the Wynns , Ruby Rose, and La Vagabond.would have all jumped at the chance rather than buy a boat albeit at probably a discount off retail. The only downside is after two years and Outremer want th boat back. Hopefully by that time your channel can really support owning it outright or you get another boat offer. Hopefully by the time you have to give it back, boat prices will be even lower making it "easier" to get your next boat you can call your own. I like that you are taking the chance to experience this next unpredictable adventure. You guys will be spoiled from the experience but there really isn't another way to have this experience unless you win the lottery or save until you are 70. They are letting us use it until the next owner is ready for her. I don't think they need any promotion, but we'll be able to show everyone the transition from sailing a charterboat-style design to a performance cat. I think there is a lot of value in that for future owners.

You guys should take the ride I think. It will give you the chance to get a feel for one type of high performance cat (I think we are starting to see a lot of variation in the go fast market). It will help you figure out what you really want and what you need. From the Outremer side, for 3 years they got lots of attention because of La Vagabond. They don't get that anymore. This will get their name back out there. So of you guys make 20 videos while you are on their boat, that is free advertising. Also the people that watch your videos include a different segment of social media. I think you will like Crete, and Cyprus. My favorite place in Italy is La Maddalena.

Thank you, thank you. Gotta correct something though: Riley and Elayna bought that O45 from Outremer. And to be absolutely clear, Outremer is not giving us this boat. They are letting us use it for a while. We are super stoked for the opportunity though! This is going to be fun!
