I recently took down my first tree for a friends mother. An old pine. I credit the tree going exactly where we wanted alot to the amazingly presented information in your videos. Can't wait for the axes to be available, so I can give you a proper thank you. You're an inspiration, and a joy to watch. Keep strong and be kind. Much love from Detroit.

As a man who just received a coronary bypass 4 days ago, I want axe #2. Plan on starting splitting again in March. Thanks for the fun and instructional videos. You’re a joy to watch. Yes, I want axe #2
Buckin, been watching you for about a month and enjoy and learn so much from your videos! Never knew there was so many different patterns of axes, now I got the fever. Bought my first old Jersey pattern axe head on Ebay yesterday and a Whiskey river 30c and can't wait to work on it. I'm mainly interested in splitting wood so really excited about your R&D project. Blessings to you and yours!
I love how many of these comments I see that you have responded to. Things like that show me you mean what you say when you talk about us, viewers. Love the videos man and I love the messages you spread. ❤️
Can we get a tour of your workshop sometime mate? Love your work, I cut Australian hardwood everyday, buckin, slabbin and splittin, from firewood to live edge furniture is my thing, and your channel has helped me a lot as my tools go blunt a lot quicker cuttin dry Aussie hardwoods, like concrete !
Buckin Billy Ray is just a Rocker and Lover of life and just a joy to watch !!! Buckin, Thanks for being such an inspiration to us all !!! Simply the Best of the Best !!! I hope to meet You someday and Have the Honor of shaking Your Hand !!!
Brother, I'd be absolutely thrilled just to be able to get my hands on one of the R&D Wood Bullets! I wouldn't even care if it was crooked. Thank you so much for the positive vibes. I've learned a lot from your channel, but the message is the most important thing. I lost a family member last week and the vids have helped keep me going when I've needed a break from the task at hand. Keep doing the good work
Started watching you a couple months ago. Love your vibe and content dude! I think you Steve's small engine saloon and AVE are my top 3 all time favorite Canadians 😊👍
Hey there Buckin! I’m a new subscriber and also new to learning axemanship. I’ve hafted two old axes now. I love the instructions and positive inspiration you provide on this channel! I’m excited for when you have those sweet splitting axes available for purchase. Keep up the GOOD work!!
Didn't know the song but its like u said it's gotta have something going on. Ax and cutting wood w the chain saw . Yessir bit by bit we are so connected I've always said man's first job was to cut wood to make shelters. Love and respect Buckin. as always stay safe.
Some beautiful work! I know what you mean when you say you can have a bad haft. It’s instinct, you study the work in front of you and simply respond to what it needs. I had to get creative with a 4 lb Plumb head I found on the farm. One side wall was more narrow than the other. It’s a beaut on whisky river 28in heritage!
You rock buddy! Thx for being you! Big Thank you - you put out mountains more quality content than anyone I follow! Thank you so much for all you do for this community. Your love is contagious bud - keep on keeping on buddy!
Buckin my friend I am fired up about your axe coming to market, To have a custom tool designed by a master of their domain I know will make work faster and more enjoyable you can't put a price on that. Case in point shopping for a tuna rod I could have gotten one from a big brand name and been disappointed so I had one custom built from a small shop in Massachusetts and haven't been let down. I found the small shop put the most pride in the product they build keep up the good work Buckin!!
Buckin. Thanks for making us/me feel like you speak to us individually. It might just be because you are comfortable in your skin and it shows. God Bless. Long Time Fan. Steve, Plymouth, MA
Great video my friend. Love Arc Angels. Doyle Bramhall II is an unbelievable guitar player. And his dad, Doyle Sr was a great drummer also. Then Bruce Springsteen! I love it!

HAPPY NEW YEAR BUCKIN AND FAMILY! keep up the good work! love ya brother! and a happy new year to all my friends in this comunity! i hope you are all doing well and i wish you all a great 2023! stay healthy and safe everyone be humble and kind and lets help someone in need. here is a little story: not long ago i met someone who asked me if i had any old tools that i don't need anymore... i asked what he was looking for. he said he is interested in old ax and hatchet blades. I looked at him and said: unfortunately I need it myself. And asked him why he was looking for it. he replied he found a u tube channel with an incredibly nice community, a host who is incredibly good at felling trees and chopping wood and is a real buddy. i looked at him and asked if he had ever heard of the buckin army...he had to laugh and said that's when he fell in love with axes. He lives very close to me and we see each other from time to time. i think i'll show him the chainsaw that buckin gave me, so he can absorb a little life buckin spirit. i love you all and i hope to make some videos again this year. be nice to each other and help where it is needed!
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith hey buckin, i owe you and the community so much... thanks again for the nice gift, the powersaw will always have a place of honor in my workshop and you will always have a place in my heart! Thank you for knowing you as a friend and thank you for every video, every little piece of wisdom and thank you for everything I have learned from you about the high art of felling trees. I promote this community whenever possible. have a great day bro!
@@MATT.MAN-PEACE-LOVE Thank you brother! I also wish you all the best for 2023. stay healthy and safe. and yeah the buckin army is growing in germany. we bring love and kindness with axes and chainsaws, hahaha. love ya buddy!
I'm looking forward to it bucking. i truly am because the thought of seeing the next bucking special come alive and smashing some wood just excites me. god love being a viking.
For the ones of us who have less than perfect axemanship (or non yet) what would you do to protect your handles? When l split wood by hand (l am not needing to use it to heat a house, just for bonfires etc) l use a splitting wedge and a 8lb sledgehammer. I have busted a handle or two on that wedge by missing the target... I now put a radiator hose on the end of the hammer handle to help when l miss. Thankfully, with lots of practice, l have gotten better. But a rad hose and tape wouldnt look the best on a BBR axe 😂
🙋🏼♂️great vid 😊 been too busy to watch for a while! Really looking forward to be able to buy a real wedgebanger/wood bullet soon, nothing else compares to the axes I see you make 💪👍
Buckin!!!! Love it when you get into the music man! BTW I have a Musicman Stingray bass HS4. Most people don't know that music is one of lifes 10 basic necessities.Get on the drums soon man!! Love when you do the skin beating!
