Such a little love bug. We have had many labs throughout the years…in all the colors. We currently have two yellow. May I suggest staying far away from any rope type toys to avoid intestinal blockage problems and seriously expensive surgery.
So beautiful angel! Warmhearting ❤️. I advise you not to let him go up and down stairs, it could cause dysplasia in his legs. Wait some months. Enjoy your sweet puppy!
I had a black Lab for 15 years. You will find they don’t need very many baths. They are the incredible, self-cleaning dogs. Dirty, smelly one day and clean the next. Have fun! He’s a cutie!
My Black Lab is 9 years old now. Love him. They can be very high drive and stubborn, but in their goofy way. They stay in puppy stage a long time so don’t leave things out you don’t want chewed on. I lost a couple pairs of shoes. One final piece of advice is don’t play tug of war toys with a dog. You’re teaching it that fighting you for control of things is OK. I know , I know, but dogs see things the way a dog does.
I was just about to say the same. It’s incredibly difficult when they’re young & you want to take them everywhere but you really must limit the amount if walking/ chasing things in the park until the skeleton has developed more.
Get him trained on a leash and get him to puppy school. It is needed for socialization. Also you as owners will learn a lot. I have had dogs since i was born. There love is unconditional. Dogs are the very best friend you will ever have! Best of luck to you!
You guys are cute! I’d like to make fun of how excited you are… But labs have that effect on all of us. Have fun… Enjoyed your video! He’s a very brave/inquisitive puppy. You guys got a great one!
we love dogs @ we got Lindt like the chocolate he was a puppy he stayed with us constant for almost 13 yearshrs he loved us and we loved him . he got sick and my wife jane stayed with him all night.
Say goodbye to everything nice. Carpets, rugs, furniture, purses, books. Doors lol. Mine are 8 now but they still destroy things sometimes. Oh, and..also say goodbye to sleep. lol I raise Champion Labradors. Good luck!
@@daleferber2096 I didn't even mention the biting, nipping and....attacking of children. Do you know, "stand like a tree?" These are all real things that people don't realize Lab Pups can do. And, for about 4 years after that. Mine didn't sleep for five days and kept my family up. I have decades of stories, but ultimately, people don't know what they're getting into with a puppy. That's why the abandonment rate is so high. They watch social media and think that it's going to be easy. I have so many scars on my hands and face. I think most people are best suited for a well-behaved dog of around 5 years old.
@@michelleadams5609 Well I am on my 3rd Lab, she is about 11. None of them did those additional things you list and they all grew out of those other things within 2 to 3 years and never all of them or all that did them much in the first place.
Dogs are amazing. There is a reason why God spelt backward is Dog. They're a gift to us humans. It's sad to think of all the mistreated dogs in this world. Anyway, he is absolutely beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤.
Nothing wrong with puppies…but wonder if this person has ever really seen (or at least researched the pain majority of dogs endure and dumped in dog pounds) and then reflected a rescue dog and chose a puppy.
