We got a Spypoint Cell Link to test. Does it work? 

The Cell Link is the greatest thing ever made. Love them.

I just bought one from Dick's and what do u known . Unable to connect to server. Called Spypoint and they did their diagnosis , offered to replace it but I had to pay return shipping cost . It was junk out of the box and I have to pay return shipping ?Not happy.

I bought 5 with 5 sd cards from Spypoint website and the first one worked for 2 weeks then stopped working. I tried a second cell link and it didn't work out of the box. I have spent hours on the chat line with Spypoint and they couldn't get either unit working. When I asked for a supervisor they got rude and when I asked for a return label for a refund they blamed the new batteries and the fully charged 12 volt that the problem was my power source. Great idea but my experience the product has a very weak transmitter or it just doesn't work. Spypoints customer service is terrible.

Bought two of these units. First one took two days of troubleshooting to figure out the SD cable would not transmit photos. So i returned it. Second unit seemed better, put it out in field and it stopped communicating after two days. Went out and reset everything and checked for damage ect. Everything was fine. Still won't send pictures or communicate on my app. I have to say my experi3nces have been awful with the product aswell as the customer support team, they are of little or no help. Returning my second cell link tomorrow and saving pennies for the real deal, you have been warned if tou plan on putting up with this garbage!!!

Me personally feel these are junk, bought 2 of them. 1 worked for a few minutes and sent pic's. then stopped. 2nd unit would never even connect. Spypoint CS advised they were both bad and to send them back. I sent them back and won't order again!

Idk if I would waste your money on it if it's like the micro you you will have to update it constantly to get pics I am hating my link micro it's the second I have had good luck

Do these send at full resolution of the camera or does it send at a lower quality like the traditional spypoint link cameras? Asking becuase I have a 20mp

Is a data plan required with Cell Link as well?

if you connect these to trail cams that support videos will it send video clips?

Buy SpyPoint LTE, the ants went inside, now when the turn on does not present me the menu, I do not know how to fix it.

Do they make a model that works on the Verizon towers, like the Link Micro? AT&T won't work at my hunting spot.

"Does it work?". Well, on the bench the answer seems to be 'yes' but feedback from people trying to use them outdoors suggests otherwise. Maybe actually take this out into the woods and see what happens?

I’d love to add this to my arsenal of trail cameras. I have 6 non cell cameras and I’m think about converting 2 of them. I have some reservation about dropping $$ on this because I’m afraid that it won’t work like SPYPOINT says it should. The SD cable adapter looks cheap and I’m afraid that after time would have to be replaced. Think about how hard it is to find a good sd card reader with a good cable. And a good cell phone charger cable. Also you have to add 8 more batteries and a Micro SD card. And I’m also seeing a lot of folks saying that it didn’t work with their cameras at home. I’d like to see this tested with all popular brands of trail cameras that people might have at home. Wild game, moultrie, browning, and whatever else if out there. Thanks for the review. If you can answer any of the questions that I have brought up I’d appreciate it.

Too many issues right now so don’t buy. Sent one back cause never work. Got a second one and worked as expected. However, once the unlimited 7 days trial expired, cell link stopped sending pictures. Used to receive at least 50 pictures of deer and other critters but nothing the last 2 days. Spoke to tech support and told to upgrade firmware but been there, done that. Not worth the trouble.

Well bought one and tryed to make an account and activate my camera after entering registration code just keeps saying error so now i get to go through same b.s everybody else is appaprently

What if your camera only takes the SD card without the adapter?

These things are taking forever to get to market. Any idea when we might be able to buy one?

Do you have to have the micro SD card on the right side to get signal to the cell link ?

Are these available to the public yet and if yes what outlets?

Being from Canada, I can't seem to find a carrier that knows anything about cellular trail cams. Any ideas?

These are only $80 CAD on Amazon, and it definitely looks as cheap. Remember the rule of thumb when buying something : You Get What You Pay For. And from what I have been reading in the comments, this doesn't seem to work very well! A descent Quality Cell Trail cam will start at about $300 and up. Personally, I would rather spend the extra money and know I am getting a quality product that works.

What a terrible video. You did a ton of prep work in order to use the camera and didn't show any of it. Sorry but I have one of these devices and it is NOT plug and play like you make it seem. You skipped needing to purchase the SD cars, you skipped the firmware update and many other steps and possible trouble spots. Garbage video. More of a SpyPoint ad.
