It’s insane how a Superman movie is being made right now as we speak. Actors rehearsing their scripts, cameras rolling, etc. it is incredibly exciting. A Superman film has been long overdue the past decade.

i fully trust James with this and like you said by changing the title to just Superman shows that James isn't playing any games. We are ready

I have been having a really rough stretch these past few months and it has been extremely hard. But over the past few days, seeing the news of Superman inspired me to rewatch Man of Steel and it just got me thinking about the character. Thinking of Superman makes me tear up because he truly is a symbol of hope and happiness. That no matter what happens, you have to pick your head up and know that everything is going to be ok. I made Superman the cover of my gym playlist and I have never been so locked in before. He inspires me to become a better person and strive to get better every single day. It really makes me happy that this character means as much to other people as much as he means to me. Thank you Matt for this video, your positivity and excitement is very healing and inspiring. i think the film called just Superman is better, gives a sense of hope and originality because it is the first film of the new dc universe. I am excited to see more and even that first official trailer. I am still curious as to how the authority characters will play in this film, specifically The Engineer

I'm mainly MARVEL, but my all time FAVORITE SuperHero Movie is SUPERMAN ( 1978 ) It captured the true fascination and wonder of a Super Being and the effects were so good for that time. I recently took my daughter to see it and it's still FANTASTIC!!! I hope James Gunn tries to find that MAGIC again.

this being the first official james gunn dc movie, and also having a title as basic and awesome as just superman. i think that’s a great foundation for the new dc universe

I love the kingdom come style logo and just calling this new film simply superman is a great way to tell audiences that this is a new beginning for dc can't wait to see it next year

Love this. and i love the title change. to me, superman: legacy always felt like the title of a sequel or prequel. something that buildings on another movie that i should watch before seeing this one. this just being called Superman is way better imo. I also think the name change fits very well with the start of a new DC. Theres no better way to start than with SUPERMAN. Perfect way to start strong. and I agree with everything you said. especially about the long marketing campaign. get people excited and hyped about this movie early.

I like Cavill as Man of Steel, too, but I am excited for the future of Supes. I'm fine with Corenswet as Superman because I trust James Gunn. However, Cavill's fans have to realize that Superman is bigger than any one actor and it is the story that matters.

It's a huge pressure because the general public still thinks Superman is boring. This movie would have to reach Dark Knight level greatness in order to shift people's perspective on the character. Good isn't enough. It needs to be great and I have hope for James Gunn and the rest of the team.

Bro you are getting too emotional for no reason. You’re a grown adult, get a grip. The movie hasn't come out and you have all those Superman comics, the character is not going anywhere. They are portraying it in the new media, acting like there wasn't a movie or show before. Which is a different scenario. I got emotional when Toby and Andrew appeared in no way home and also watching some episodes of smallville. But those are normal reactions.
