Hi, we are Stephen, Jess, Hunter and baby Koa - an Australian family who have had quite the journey. After travelling the world as a couple in 2020 we had our very first baby, we then spent the following year self-converted a van before moving into it full-time to drive around Australia. Cut to 2023 we welcomed our second child Koa into the world before resuming full-time travel around the world.

Come north to the eastern Washington state area. We're right up against the Idaho panhandle and minutes from Montana from here. Plus the summer average temperatures are in the 90s Fahrenheit all summer. ❤ Evergreen trees and all the lake's you can imagine. Plus, there's free camping all over the place.

Oh VERY cool! Must visit Door County in Wisconsin as well as Bayfield and the Apostle Islands in far north western Wisconsin! Also, Branson, Missouri; Mackinac Island in Michigan; the Black Hills of South Dakota; Yellowstone National Park. @flyingthenest there is so much that comes to mind but our latest find was Leavenworth, WA. It's a Bavarian town, super cute. Crested butte, CO for the spring flowers. I loved seeing the saguaro cacti down in Tuscon, AZ. You may have this info, but for places to stay, we like to use iOverlander and Harvest Host!

You 100% should come to central coast CA! We just moved here from MN and oh my is there so much to do! Morro bay, pismo beach, vineyards for days, Monterey, San Simeon with elephant seals, Hearst castle, . If you happen to I know I’m just a random person on the internet haha! But we have plenty of land and full hook up on our property!

When I was in Utah last month in my van, Bryce Canyon had tons more snow than arches, which had basically hardly anything. And then the storm came in the other week. It was impossible to hike anywhere in Bryce, except a few of the lookouts during my trip. I’ve been to all 51 national parks in the lower 48, just be careful with needing permits for filming in national parks. Moab has become difficult for boondocking in the area, although I was able to find a horse camp for three nights about ten minutes from Arches entrance. Most of the public land in Moab has become established campsites first come first served

Have fun driving around! There's so many cool places in the US and all different cultures within one country. Northern California is magical if you're making your way out here! As in giant Redwood forests where Star Wars was filmed. Gorgeous.

Visiting my favourite state. Used to attend university in Provo. Zion, Bryce Canyon and arches are so beautiful. Utah definitely has some hidden gems. Go off the beaten path and explore a bunch of canyons (Provo canyon and Spanish fork canyon are favourites). You should also check out the red woods in Northern California and Yosemite is excellent. Check out the coast of oregan. So beautiful! So worth the drive. Have a great time and excited to see where your van tour takes you in the USA. And the interstate I-15 thru salt lake is no joke. Brave soul!

I just looked up the Kneaders Sauce! I don't know how authentic it is, but here is a recipe I found: Kneaders Sauce Ingredients: (adjust the recipe to make more or less depending on how many sandwiches you are making and just whip together all ingredients below to make your sauce) 1 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup sour cream sour cream 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon sugar 2 teaspoons yellow mustard

I really hope you make it to Door County, Wisconsin! I couldn’t believe how much of a gem it is. No real chain hotels/restaurants. Just gorgeous nature, delicious food, and kind locals!

I love Hunters happiness for the van! Welcome to the U.S. You guys should come to Washington. Not to the Seattle side but to the Spokane side. Spokane has a lot to do. Riverfront park, Manato park, etc. Spokane river runs through the city of Spokane. End of June is the world biggest three on three basketball tournaments in Spokane. Have fun and drive safe!
