We got caught in the rain in the middle of Lake Tahoe! Kayaking Baldwin Beach to Emerald Bay. 

We set off on a June afternoon paddle. It was a spectacular day. Little did we know we were being pursued. A glance behind us showed a dark and sinister looking cloud. Wifeburger still doubted it was going to rain. We continued our paddle; thunder crashing in the distance. We made the two mile paddle to Emerald Bay and were still dry. We had just rounded the corner and crossed the mouth of Emerald Bay when the skies opened up above us. In minutes We. Were. Soaked. As it was our third day of camping, we were happy to receive the shower. The sun broke through halfway into our paddle and we returned to shore at Baldwin Beach feeling warm, clean, and refreshed.
