Celys is a real one! I’ve been with a guy who’s mom literally blamed me for him not wanting to go to her house for dinner after he worked a 12 hour shift. He came home exhausted and said my mom is trippin she’s blaming you (me) for not wanting to go to her house for dinner. The mom didn’t take into account that maybe her son was tired and just wanted to come straight home. I was for real mind blown. Prank or not, this is real shit that goes on! Many couples change their ways when they get into a relationship which means sometimes they're not as sociable anymore, or don't do as much as they used to, or even hangout how they used to.. Regardless, as long as that person is happy, that's all that should matter! Its so stupid, like let everyone live the relationship they have without it having an effect on anyone! I’m actually going through this with my bf!! I always tell him to call his mom, visit his family, go hang out with them and NOT take me; I insist like if he is my child having to tell him to prioritize his family and he doesn’t; all he wants to do is chill with me and distance himself from his family, and that had lead to his family blaming me that I don’t let him visit his family or even call his mom! It breaks my heart because I force my bf to call his mom and hang out with his brothers.. I was thinking of dumping him because it’s been affecting me that my bf don’t even defend me and at least say that I’m the one who forces him to go with his family and not take me lol .. so random but I had to vent 😮‍💨
