We got kicked out of the pub in Warwick 

Spoons have a blanket ban on dogs. But I have a blanket ban on going to Spoons so that’s alright. Warwick is lovely, many trips there over the years.

We got asked to leave a Weatherspoons after buying several drinks and sitting outside with our dogs! We'd been sitting there a good 20 mins or so. We did leave but only after finishing our drinks. I can't believe they have a dog ban in their outside areas. My dogs are better behaved than most children. Another great blog thank you.

We used to love sitting outside Spoons with the dogs in Warwick. We now go across the square to The Globe, lovely people that always feed the dogs biscuits, inside and out there always welcome.

Hi such a silly rule, I can understand if dogs not allowed inside, but banning them outside is daft. I also find it hard to believe Corrin has never been kicked out of a pub before !

Warwick looked lovely and so did the fish and chips and sausage & chips lol. Frenchie's make excellent service dogs. So it is possible. Look forward to the next vlog xx

Wouldnt use Wetherspoons anyway... with or without a dog. Company that ruined the local pub trade in countless towns.

Warwick looks a lovely place to visit, shame about the Spoons attitude towards customers. Unless the pub owns the pavement outside [which I doubt very much it does, it most likely has a permit from local council to place chairs but it is still public land to which one has right of way] they are not permitted to move you on, however, they can ask you not to sit on their chairs. I think they need a visit from a dog walkers gathering, where everyone takes own camping chairs and their dogs, a pack lunch and sit directly outside to send a strong message that they do not own public land. It will also show them how many customers could be buying a pint if they were not so discriminatory towards dog owners. 😀

Spoons should be grateful anyone wants to go there! Rentokil are regularly at one local to us. My nephew was a cook there. He said 'i wouldn't eat that sh#t if they paid me to.' They gotta nerve kicking out the brave people who attempt it.

Hi Guys, we were in Warwick just before Christmas and had a drink at the same Weatherspoons we also had the dog with us so we sat outside the front of the Pub and the dog even sat on a chair (he thinks he's a human) nothing was said to us, it was dark and cold so perhaps they couldn't be bothered to come outside. Loved Warwick though did you stay at Hampton Road Car Park? We have a 7m van and there was plenty of space to overhang there and only pay for on space.

Hi, Same thing happened to us in Devon, we sat outside with our dog and i went and bought a round of drinks took them back to the table and while we were looking at the menu a young man came up to us and asked us to leave because of their no dog policy. Like yourselves i was bemused by the whole situation. We use lounges everywhere we go now! So good with dogs and they do the best bacon cheese burger ever

We were thrown out if a courtyard garden in weather spoons York because we had our little king Charles spaniel with us few years ago. We couldn't believe it !

It is a university town but oddly enough Warwick University is in Coventry (weird I know!) Wetherspoons must have lost so much trade since they banned dogs from any of their areas. Madness as so many dog owners in the town. Thanks for visiting. x

We too have been told to remove ourselves from Spoons in Skipton. It seems the boss hates dogs but that's his problem 😂

Years ago I was sat outside Spoons Taunton with my baby granddaughter in a pushchair. I was also asked to leave as in those days children not allowed either. What strange policy.

We live literally 10 mins from Warwick town, it is a lovely place. Warwick Castle is good, but expensive to go to. The Sun newspaper does an offer a couple of times a year for a buy one get one free which is good. We never use Wetherspoons just for that reason 😮

All us dog owners should boycott Weatherspoons!

Loved the post box next to the phone box. It makes a cracking photo with them both in the same shot. We will need to get a cereal box for by one get one free Merlin tickets and high vis jackets for the dogs to go into the castle 😂 I don’t understand the whole dog thing in Spoons. They are allowed in much nicer pubs and considering the state of every Spoons carpet, I don’t see why kids are allowed but dogs aren’t 😂

We got kicked out from their Great Yarmouth pub a few years ago. We were sat in the outdoor seating area on the pavement at the front of the pub, dont even think it was their property, but we were asked to leave. I wrote to complain but never got a reply!

We went in there on a lunchtime and the locals were worst for wear. Queued up to order drinks and food and the attitude of the barman was horrible so we walked out and found a lovely pub in the square. Haven’t experienced this in other spoons so maybe it’s just Warwick 😳

We got kicked off the front pavement area of Weatherspoons in Seaham Co.Durham cause they called it their ‘garden’ last year with our Patterdale Bonnie. Woman was quite rude which reflects bad on the pub chain. I could understand it if the actually HAD a garden. Seaham is an absolute hole as well 😂😂

We went to Spoons in Keswick. Table and chairs out on the pavement out the front and we got told to leave too. I emailed and they said policy is no dogs inside or outside on any of their properties 😡

I just told my hubby about this and he said he once went into a Werherspoons in Brigg and was told he could not stay with our Frenchie fur baby but they did say they could serve him outside as it was on the pavement so really as the council own the pavement at the front of that pub you visited they had no right to turn you away. It is different if it is in an enclosed beer garden, as the one Castleford is, when we got turned away.

Three mistakes there. Warwick's not a city. It's also not a university town (The uni of Warwick is in Cov!), and worst of all, going to a Wetherspoons... Still, ne'er mind eh? Warwick is lovely, whatever, and I spent a lot of my youth there, and a few family Great War artefacts reside in the regimental museum. The castle, while being superb, has always been a hefty price, but please try to make it back without the dogs if you can. Good to hear your connection to Cov Climax too. I worked there in the seventies/eighties, and my mum did too - for much longer! Glad you liked my old County Town, anyway; and don't let the ropey pub put you off going back. 😊

We'd sat in the outside bit of the spoons at Henley for an hour, with Henry hound, and the staff were even fussing him. I ordered and paid for food. 20 mins later the manager came and asked us if we'd ordered food and we said yes. He then said "you need a refund and must leave". Not politely either. Apparently a child got bitten during the pandemic and blanket ban. So we don't go in them even when H isn't with us.

It is a super castle although I visited it about 47 years ago.

Our local spoons allows dogs outside and provide water bowls for them .

Use small locally owned cafes,pubs etc on your travels. Profits from such busineses stay in local pockets in the community

We got asked to leave from a spoons outside seating area whilst visiting Exmouth, couldn’t believe they had such a dumb anti dog policy! Warwick Castle is fantastic, visited a few years ago in the Summer, if I remember correctly the entrance fee then was £19, £44 is way to much, they will and have lost visitors, again with a stupid anti dog policy.

We had the same problem today in Bristol with Wetherspoons not allowing us in or even to sit outside with our dog, oh well it’s their loss

From some of your comments on the vlog it seems you don't realise accredited assistance dogs can go anywhere. Its illegal to refuse entry to pubs, restaurants, shops and so forth.😊

Would never patronise a Tim Martin pub, a man who was a large donor to the Brexit campaign, then complained he couldn't get staff anymore when they'd all gone home.There's a name for people like him.

Hi we are in Warwick, leaving today, really enjoyed it too but didn’t go into the Castle it was too expensive we thought and as you said owned by the Alton towers group, themed for kids possibly, anyway we didn’t go in but just got to tell you that we booked through CAMC in December as they advertised a free night if you booked before December 31st, which we did and booked 2 nights in Warwick, 20th and 21st of March, anyway when we got here we asked about payment and she said yes it’s gone off your card £48.50 as we’d paid £20 deposit, we weren’t getting a free night, Warwick racecourse is a managed site and not included 😠 not happy to say the least as it was not made clear, so an email is going to head office CAMC £17.00 per night with EHU is okay but not 34.50 but we did enjoy Warwick. Was more annoyed that it wasn’t made clear it was in the very very small print

Their loss. They will soon accept it when they need the trade or start going under! Fish and chips so much better, and I expect a lot cheaper. For a country of dog lovers, places are so short sighted! They should relish anyone visiting their sites. With regards Ringo - they accept a motorhome so therefore the parking should allow a double space and fee option if requured. I've come across this before and been confused. Perhaps they should review their site. Parking in UK is such a minefield -nothing is simple!

We found this out in 2015. So, question for you. When have you ever seen The Slaws in a Wetherspoons? Never! We won’t put our hard earned money over their bar.

The weatherspoons in Chard have tables on the public pavement, not only are dogs not allowed on the pavement seating area, but if you stop with your dog to speak to a friend who is sitting on these seats, and you are standing on the public pavement not in the seating area you will be asked to leave!! Do they have the right to do this?

Would rather sit next to a dog then the smoker's who sit outside at their tables.

My guess is that the demographic upon which !Spoons" depend are also often the demographic whose dogs are untrained and unpredictable. I would never give them my custom.

Pubs can't win with dogs. Wetherspoons policy is well known and l find it difficult to know you were unaware, you can't please everybody all the time.....

To be fair, asked to leave from a Wetherspoons is not the end of the world but if all dog owners did not go to Wetherspoons it could be the end of their world........people power. Keep the vlogs coming and let the dogs at least pee up Wetherspoons property 🤣💩?
