i mean in my opinion its not sad, some ppl just didnt played gunbreaker but if someone played it to max lvl and dont notice it, this ppl must be blind .. or stupid or both i dont know xD
It's always a good thing to go nuts when you see new gauges on characters. Also it seems like a lot of older techniques are being upgraded and/or changed in appearance. (DRG) The wrath of Nidhogg rages on! (MNK) The training is complete. Upgraded from Gadouken to Hadouken. (SCH) _"Moon Prism Power!!"_ (VPR) (GBR) I am going to go on an outright rampage with these two.
The moment I saw Lion Heart I spazzed out and jumped up with joy for finally getting what I’ve been wanting since Gunbreaker came out. By the Gods I am so happy to finally get Lion Heart!!!
Though it seems to have come at the cost of Rough Divide (why does GNB and DRK lose the damaging gap closer while PLD/WAR keep them?) I would otherwise say we got all of Squall's limit finishers, heck the fire blast follow up to fated circle is close to how ff8 fated circle hit being a wave of flame
@@craigfunk3453 yeah the continuation to fated circle is the same to how it finishes in ff8. I am also confused as to why they changed the gap closers to drk and GNB but We have to wait til we get it. Still though I am looking forward to the changes because GNB is getting better and better to me.
One other thing I’ll add is that the GNB used blood fest while already having a cartage, now I’m wondering if that was just a mistake and it overlapped or if blood fest is going back to only giving two cartages?
It feels like all the melee classes have had their closers replaced with something that functions like the Monk's Thunderclap. It closes distance, but doesn't do damage. Not sure how I feel about that, but okay.
I left my GNB at 80 specifically for use in EXP roulettes when the expansion comes out since I know everyone else will be spam leveling their Vipers / Pictomancers. Yes, there's a method to my madness.
@@KrimsonKB Unfortunately, I'm going to have to jump to another DC from Dynamis because the entire DC is a ghost town full of RMT or n00bs who are barely into Lv. 50-60 content. You have no idea how many times I've gotten queued into either Aurum Vale or Halatali in the past 2 weeks. It's maddening.
9 MORE SLOTS! I think one of them will go towards Beast Master and then the other 8 will be for the next 4-ish expansions if we are going by the two years per expansion rule. I was saying this alot in Raptors stream but Viper reminds me alot of dancer, both the pace of the job and the look of the rotation on the hot bar. I never liked the proc aspect of dancer so i'm hoping Viper isn't like that but I love how flashy the job is. I've literally been waiting for a Zidane job in this game since I started playing so I'm definitely going to be playing Viper alot upon release.
Man I'm jealous, I wish I knew how to set up my stream stuff to look like that. Huge props on it, also quite enjoyed the vid. Definitely got a like and sub from me.
Lord of Crowns was always Damage centered on target, might have become Party Atk Buff; meanwhile Lady of Crowns was AoE Heals, not sure if that was a change.
As someone's also all giddy and hysterical when they revealed this on the Live Letter stream, I'm glad a streamer noticed this and had the same reaction as I did. FF8 4 LIFE! 🥹
Viper and Gunbreaker are the best to me cues my favorite FF games are 8 and 9 not sorry love the vid seeing you happy like this is nice and made me smile
Since it was announced, I was always down on pictomancer since it felt so out of place in an FF-- Too Korean and generic. Since virtually every Korean MMO has a painter class. But it having a lot of moogle influence makes it fit a lot better and I'm sure the back story will as well.
@Cofcos lmfao 🤣 ya it's pretty bad, it auto blocks people, if you tell someone to not threaten to kill people it can block YOU instead of the dude literally threatening others, it's pathetic
I love how dragoon is just gradually getting more big dragon-ish moves. I just wish that we would finally get an enshround-like transformation similar to the Nidhogg form Estinien had that one time in Endwalker. I mean, Scholar got a Seraph form and Dark Knight has wings! At this rate, Dragoons are going to be one of the only classes without a flashy mode change! Also, yes, Yoshi-P totally went “I want no more Ley Lines excuses during mechanics, you pick them up and *move* now!”.🤣
Patiently waiting for a "drachen trance" as well. If i have to be honest, my dragoon dream would be getting moves based of the other dreadwyrms(cept bahamut, thats for SMN), of course Nidhogg should be the main one with stuff like Nastrond and the new attack, but it could be really interesting if we got.
@@Danothyus1 I’m kind of surprised we haven’t gotten anything obviously Hraesvelgr influenced myself. Since we borrowed his eye back in Heavensward, he’d be a logical influence choice alongside Nidhogg.
After seeing Gunbreaker do that Lionheart combo…..I have THIS to say: Gunbreaker mains (myself included) are gonna be feasting this expansion!!! 💯💯💯 I love watching your reactions, KB! 💯💯💯
I was watching this live with friends on Discord and I was the only one who recognised Lion Heart from the jump. I didn't run around Disc 1 getting that weapon early to forget it, lol
I main Machinist and Summoner. Gonna take Machinist through the expansion first. The giant buzzsaw, the new heat blast, new riccochet, new guass shot and the missle barrage looks badass!
I feel like for better or worse the job actions trailer is meant to show that a lot of things are being streamlined a bit like how with Dark Knight they are combining Blood Weapon and Delirium now putting aside the question of just how that’ll work in practice I do like it from the perspective that for as much as I love DRK it did feel at times we have had one too many abilities and that some could be combined into one
You may not know your FF lore, but from what I have seen, Pictomancers can basically draw anything they want into existence, but it might usually end up looking cute, because Relm's the most famous pictomancer in all the FF multiverse. I guess Bahamut had the summon redone to match how it looks in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. Is this a limited time look or is this change more permanent going forward?
@@matthewulanski217 I want the ability to draw Ultros like Relm..... Also, that is a 3RD bahamut/Phoenix Big Blast button. So summoners now cycle through Bahamut, then Phoenix, then Solar Bahamut.
on BLM Paradox seems to be instant in Astral Fire phase too. In EW it's instant in Umbral Ice only Manafont gives 3 Umbral heart too it seems. My guess on new Fire finisher is Merton/Meltdown from FF6
Manafont in aoe is about to let us flare twice, do the new ability, flare two more times, and do the new ability again Black Mage aoe is going to be insane 🔥
Man viper hits all the right marks I wanted for my Main since I love fast attacking Assassin jobs so it is probably going to be my new Main job. Ninja fell off for me because they slowly removed all Assassin job related things in it for ninjutsu as we seen every new expansion.
Oh man. The only reason I hope the Viper's ultimate is actually Trance is so that Soken has an excuse to create a wicked remix of "The Festival of the Hunt" from FF9 for one of the Viper's job quests; the Distant Worlds rendition has been on my favorites playlist for years. That, or make it the OST for a beastmaster hunting challenge! :D
About what you said there at 1:59, "there's nine more slots"... Provided we're going to be getting 2 new Jobs for every expansion, do you think this means the final one is going to give us only 1 Job, or a whole 3 new Jobs? (The former option would imply we're going to get 5 more expansions while the latter indicated 4.) And, considering the can of worms Dawntrail has opened up for us of turning one FF hero (in this case Zidane) into a full Job class, what Jobs would you want to see above all else? Personally, I'm partial to a Physical Ranged/Melee hybrid DPS Job based on Vincent Valentine (maybe with some FF7:R!Rufus moves thrown in for good measure): Have a rotation starting with you unloading a hand cannon into your enemies at a distance, building up the appropriate resources and buffs, etc, and then you get three transformations to pick between: Loup-garou (werewolf) which then becomes Galian Beast (bipedal behemoth) at higher levels, Living Dead (zombie) which becomes Dead Gigas (Frankenstein's creature), and Killer Within (Ghostface/Michael Myers armed with a Chef's Knife) which becomes Hellmasker (Leatherface/Jason Voorhees armed with a chainsaw and Freddy Krueger's glove). You fight up close as a monster for a few seconds, and then you revert back and start gunning (hah) for the next transformation. Limit Break: Satan Slam (or Satanic Impact, if we're going for an updated translation).
Keep in mind that there are 2 'limited jobs' that were not showcased - so there are 2 more job stones than was pictured in the box. We'll likely get a 3rd limited job eventually, which will take up the single free floating job stone spot.
A lot of stuff is being streamlined, which is good, but its important to keep in mind that these changes are all a foundation towards 8.0 which is what they've said will be the expansion that will focus *heavily* on improving Job identity. Which is something a good amount of people have been complaining about, with good reason.
The Fanta changes are really nice. They give you an hour of in game time (doesnt tick down when not logged into the character) to change things. So its okay if you find you dont like the new look.
In the benchmark trailer that scholar spell even had a 'stop' effect on the mob, or it was just coincidence that the enemy had no animation what so ever after being hit by that spell
New GNB combo Lionheart looks cool. Too bad it just compounds their burst window issues even more. COuldnt fit everything into NM before heres ANOTHER 3 part combo. SO still probs gonna feel the most rigid and worse tank for those burst windows
@@KrimsonKB how? 2.5 BiS that's 8 GCDs in 20 secs and you want 9 to fit your entire burst. It's literally impossible to fit everything. (3 for gnashing fang, 1 double down, 1 sonic break, a 123 combo and a burst strike. That's 9 GCDs) now with the bloodfest combo your likely gonna have to drop burst strike in your burst as it will replace a 123 combo. This also doesn't help how rigid it is in cart spending where you have to be exact about it while all 3 other tanks don't really have that issue. Inlove GNB but at High end it's very clunky vs the other 3 if even 1 mistake or clip/drift is made
@@skylarsimes8 Homie, we haven't even played Dawntrail yet. For all we know the changes haven't stopped. Let's actually play the game first. But like i said: I can fit in an entire Renzokuken, Blasting Zone, Sonic Break, Bow Shock, Double Down, 2 rough divides, #3 on comb, Burst Strike and a Hyper-V all in the No Mercy window just fine.
@skylarsimes8 I say for now we wait for potency numbers cause from the way I see it the the Lion Heart combos will be used on the opener and then every 2 mins if possible while Burst Strikes will be our 1 min filler.
