We lived in the Adelaide Hills for a couple years and often went on 20km walks and without fail did at least 5-7km every day along with other cardio and resistance training. So thought we’d have a go at mountain biking. It was one of the hardest things I’ve done and I thought I was going to die first time out. The other stuff didn’t prepare us at all, not even for a relatively short ride (few kms). Just different muscle groups and stamina I guess.

the changing of the the gears was pure comedy - in a good way! Who tries to change the gears with their other hand! Glad your still OK! 7:19..the dread ...looked like an adventure. Mountain biking can be challenging for sure. Onward nd upwards!
