I would not trim 6 to 8 weeks. Hairdressers made that up to get more income. The long hair girls say to retain your hair you need to trim 2 to 3 times a year.

The mom sounds overbearing. These girls are going to rebel when they're older. To have a whole film crew there just to film your kids getting their hair straightened is so invasive and exploitive.

Omg I was shocked to see so much heat applied to their hair, straightners ruined my naturally curly hair, healthy natural curls with natural product should be encouraged & is so beautiful. The fact that the product hardened in her hair & had hard time coming out is so wrong, these girls are too young to realize the damage being done to their hair yikes!!! i create the most beautiful curls for days with just a little water, some natural leave in conditioner (or curl cream) with a touch of serum, no heat or tools required, & no more split ends. The only good thing about this video was having one girl say she preferred her curly hair.
