I was actually raised by foster parents, they never formally adopted me but they brought me home from the hospital. I never left and stayed with them my entire life. I took care of them till they passed away when their blood children did not. They were the best mom and dad I could have ever asked for and I miss them so very much. I think what you guys are doing is absolutely amazing!!! I learned a long time ago that blood does not make you family! I enjoy watching your journey

I would love to hear how yalls hearts shifted from the goal of wanting to do foster to adopt, to just wanting to foster, and if the Lord allows, adopt. As other people have already commented and you acknowledged in a past video, the goal of fostering is for reunification. I'd love to hear more about how you and Jordan changed your perspective.
I knew a girl that never had a good foster home, she got moved around alot & was treated poorly, I was so sad for her. I'm a mom of 2 daughters 10 yrs apart. I have a huge family been around kids also since I was born. You will lose sleep you will worry. Don't keep your house quiet with a baby they will and need to get used to noise. Plus its healthy to have noise like sweeper running talking etc. You can't spoil a baby hold her or him as often as you want and if they cry pick them up. It's ok. Every child is different. My oldest daughter has type 1 diabetes and my 4 yr old daughter is severely autistic. Both my kids have things that are stressful. But I love them and we take one day at a time. Babies can be colic or just have stomach issues or be gassy. Change baby often pampers are the best diapers.

Hi Brittany, my husband and I are foster parents too. I relate to that feeling of being the bottom of the totem pole. Don’t be afraid though to stand up for yourselves. I did progesterone inserts at the beginning of one of my pregnancies after several miscarriages. I also did blood thinner injections throughout my entire pregnancy. Which led to me having my first rainbow baby almost 12 years ago ❤
Dr. Lee has an amazing book about women and progesterone. After my first miscarriage, my levels were so low that my doctor in Dallas put me on progesterone cream. His books helped tremendously. I still use progesterone cream monthly 10+ years later. Life changing. ✝️🕊️

My sister in law was a foster parent and she got overloaded and overwhelmed, she ended up having to give up her foster children at a really bad time for them.
Ppl really don’t know what parent hood is like till ur in it don’t forget all the stuff u mentioned plus days of not sleeping. Much grace and wisdom and strength to all ppl involved with babies ❤

I said the same thing,all the years we fostered, how do people do this,that don't have Jesus. We were so blessed and we absolutely loved fostering, but with all the politics of it,I could never have done it,without Jesus.
I just want to say thank you. As a parent on the other side of the foster care system I completely agree that this would not be possible to handle in my own strength. God has brought us back to him through this process and our children are being reunited today after 2 months. Watching your videos has helped me so much to feel at ease and trust in the Lord. That part when you were trying to be quiet and tip-toeing... do y'all have a sound machine? Those things are a HUGE blessing for sleeping babies and their parent's (sanity🤪) - I highly recommend getting one!

You are one amazing Godly woman! Thank you for sharing your story. We adopted a 13 year old boy after being empty nesters for 15 years. He will be 27 this year and has a family of his own now. Was it easy? No it was not! Was it worth it? Yes it was! We all have issues no matter what. But when kids are tough and they try you, you just show them more love and let them know you are there for them no matter what. May God continue to bless you with the will heart you have for these little ones. Keep you eyes on our Heavenly Father to guide you and show you the wonderful blessings you are having on these precious lambs of God!

Hey Brittany! Just some words of encouragement here... you will get pregnant when you stop worrying about it, just don't think about it and let it happen without trying to force it. It's like our periods, if we are anxious about starting, it usually starts early or late, or skips a month. It's more psychological than physical it seems. And let it happen naturally, it's healthier that way.

Praying for you and your husband as you walk through this season of struggling to get pregnant, grieve your baby in heaven and are foster parents. My husband and I have walked through infertility. I promise that God’s will is so much better and His timing is perfect. We are now the proud parents of 2 adopted children. God gave us 2 children who fit perfectly into our family!!!
