See? That wasn't that difficult... Give us those page numbers!! 😂 I always tell my husband, why don't they just do the numbers light enough that if you want them, you have them... and if you don't want them, they aren't obvious. This is the perfect blend of that idea. Congrats Mark!!
I’m not against page numbers being an option for people who want them, but I will be against making them “light”. The fact that they are there will upset me 😂🤣 how can I rip pages out of they’re all numbered?! 😅😂🥲

I can only echo everyone's comments... love the design so much! Hubby does Electronics & even he'd appreciate that cover. It's the perfect blend of not being in your face yet giving you something to look at & ponder over up close. I too appreciate the Light Page Numbers & Markers. Congrats Mark!!!

Journal notebooks with pen holders make so much sense to me.. instead of looking for a pen whenever you want to write, it’s readily available anytime, anywhere.

Love the behind the scenes! And the hidden shapes are super fun, too. The long rectangle with the diagonal lines immediately below the pencil (on the cover) looks like an envelope to me.
Congratulations! It looks beautiful. In addition to the motifs you pointed out, I see several quilt block patterns - clam shells, drunkards path, half squares….
I am very glad you did a behind the scenes, especially on the material cover because I was like.. but that would have been gorgeous with the leather! and then saw the fingerprints and was like.. oh.. Okay.. yeah. Buckram. Yeup, they know what they're doing lol Congratulations! The excitement was still very noticeable. ^-^ I could only imagine you must be on cloud nine.
dude this is SO epic! Huge congrats to you. This is so flippin' cool (pun intended lol). Love the easter eggs in the design and the process that went into this - mega impressive. I can really see how much joy and happiness this project brought you and I'm so glad you got to Mark Your Pages in this journal (ok i'll stop haha). But honestly I am most excited about the smart marks. My current bujo notebook has something similar and it's a game changer. Plus this cover design is gorgeous 😍 Can't wait to get mine! Congrats!!
I had to go from watching on the tv to my phone just to tell you that I love this notebook! In addition to the page numbers, the layout markings are awesome. (Thank you for avoiding the worn look btw… I love vintage but I don’t understand wanting a worn looking product lol). Well done!

Excellent and congrats! I love what you designed, the cover is gorgeous! (I spotted a skinny symbol just above and to the right of Mando that is giving me Star Trek vibes.) Stoked to see page numbers and smart marks! Great name for those btw😉 It will make it so much quicker for set ups. So did I need another notebook? No. Did I just scoop a square one up? Yes!!
Mark I just ordered it! I was really contemplating on what bujo to use next year and it just has to be this one. Your pod with Jess has inspired me to make use of page numbers.
Very cool to see the process (yes, I would lose my mind with the “dirty” looking one, lol) and the page numbers are absolutely perfect…they don’t scream at you or have a specific “design style,” yet are functional or ‘ignorable’ (in a good way,) for anyone to use or not use. I would take this to the office (agree on the ampersand redesign for the office) and being someone who likes things to be lined up just right, the smart marks are awesome! It looks professional, interesting and classy…everything someone who works in a professional office would want…with the ability to make it all your own, so you aren’t carrying around the same generic “planner” or dreaded ugly black portfolio that everyone else is. Well done, Mark and Heidi!!

(Also, this would look really cool in red, with the glossy red on red…cause I love red, and in some offices, you can be a little more ‘free’…it would be stunning in fire engine red on red with black ribbons!)
I’m amazed you got them to number the pages, but the way you cheerlead them, they should listen. Maybe the sales will encourage them to number more. All of my non-A&O notebooks are numbered!
