if anybody is curious! this is for you. earlier this year i was hypnotized! (yes it sounds a lot scarier than it really is. this is a fact!) my school invited a hypnotist to come and perform on about 25 of us on stage. i was lucky enough to be selected to participate. interestingly, one hour of sleep equals about three or four when you wake up. i don't really remember a bunch, but after seeing videos my friends took of me, i was really surprised. the hypnotist had us do some really funny stuff, like there was a huge dance party and these three kids went up front and took off their shirts and started grinding on each other...i was flossing and doing the sprinkler on top of a chair... another moment my best friend caught film was this situation: you're watching a scary movie on a huge screen in a drive in. now its the funniest movie you've ever seen. now, everything dims and its a romantic movie. all you can think about is your crush you liked in 5th grade---but wait, now its a movie of your parents making out???? the more you want to look away the worse it gets. the more you cringe and peel your eyes away. it just keeps getting worse, and worse. is there a tear in your eye? nope, just the credits. so all in all, after hypnosis, i felt so much more energized! and this lasted for a really long time. this was just a little on my personal experience, and all i've got to say is that if you ever get the opportunity to get hypnotized, don't be scared! try something new. it's a really fun time.
