Thank you so much for calling with me! I should've know that you would Mjölnir that rock. The temptation is too hard to resist. Just a clarification, you need 400-700 tonnes for the processing point to be economically beneficial (you'd probably get 35-60 oz gold from that number). So that rock will probably give you 0.005 grams. Still, I love that you tried.

In the British culture telling your best friend, "You're an idiot" and laughing when you say it, is quite different to being angry when you say it. In response to a joke, it could mean that the idea, joke, whatever is hilarious, or maybe corny. But it's not an insult, at least not the way Josh is using it. It's actually more of a compliment, sometimes. :-)

@@tengkuroslina4767 Roslina Raja Omar the lady said there was enough gold in there to make a nano SIM card 'maybe'. Even with a normal sized SIM card you can't get a gram of gold, at the most a a microgram. So what I'm trying to say is that that rock, unless they had the industrial materials to process it was basically just a large paper weight with a tiny bit of gold in it. What cost her the most was probably the shipping.

While this video was great, I recently learnt a bit about this area of Indonesia, it's history and the effect that the gold and copper mine has on its people. Despite the land being so resource rich, it seems that the indigenous people are suffering. I'm no expert but once again it seems like another example of how greedy powerful people take advantage of the weak. I hope people can use this opportunity to learn a little about Papua despite not much information being available.
