They could do a 20 part series on this game, going from a local supermarket to a Walmart megastore, and I’d watch every goddamn episode.

I don't know what it is but the banter while trying to frantically run a store is making me want a 100 episode series. Probably would realistically work as a 27 episode series though.

"I thought people would stop coming in at 9" Arin you sweet summer child. Don't you know you have to physically block the door at close to stop people wandering in? Even then someone will find the back door and appear in the bread aisle just as you're finished for the night.

Some tips that helped me make the gameplay a little easier: •You can use your keypad on your keyboard to type in the credit card payments. •You don't need to walk around the register to man it. Just click it at any angle and you will be stationed inside of it. •You can check which items went up or down in price on the buy screen of your computer. •Everytime you make an order it costs you shipping. Try to buy in bulk as much as possible to save more money.

I love Arin's eco-concious approach to his store. He leaves the lights off until it is absolute PITCH BLACK outside and just relies upon the natural sun light to light up the store.

I just want to imagine arin managing his irl companies the same way he manages the stuff he's put in charge of in games. With the yelling, the quick panic, the unearned great confidence, and the inevitable great womfidence.

Fun fact: they actually make shelf stable milk that doesn't need to be refrigerated until it's opened. So until and unless the game says otherwise, I'm gonna assume you're just selling shelf stable milk and don't have to worry about it going bad in the box.

I would watch you guys play this for ages, I want to see it grow and become a beautiful grocery store that’s about to leave the nest and become a franchise

If you close the box (with "C") it will show you if the box is empty, so you don't accidentally end up throwing away product which will come in handy later. and Dan is right, you can usually go about 50 cents to 1 dollar above market price before people start complaining. I love this, I hope we get a few more episodes!

Any game where Arin has to manage a business, or a real job simulator are absolutely fucking hilarious. The way he frantically runs around stress yelling are some of the best moments. I would easily watch 10, or 50, more episodes of this. The banter between you guys in these videos are always great too, like you giving him sass about the prices in this one. Surprisingly I'm enjoying them playing this, something about "tycoon" like games that I like, and the way Arin just goes about it in his chaotic fashion just makes it so much better. I'd be more than happy watching them do lots more episodes of this.

I, no shit, got an ad for this game in the middle of this episode. 😂. And this is probably the first game they've ever played I've related to in real life. when Dan said "Ive never seen someone so antagonistic to their own customers....". He needs to come to work with me on a busy night at the truck stop I work at when I have so much that has to get done by 7 am, the showers are out of control, the registers are crashing, and when the one guy I hate working with is working. He'll see someone much more antagonistic. But not outwardly in front of customers. Just when they leave. 😂😂😂

Btw they plan updating this game to include grocery delivery, competitive markets in the neighborhood (which is completely explorable) that you can buy cheaper groceries off, and Thieves and cctv. Love these little simulator games

I NEED more of this game. I know the gameplay loop is simple, but it is so fun to watch. Also, the back and forth on these is SO good. Granted, it always is, but you know what I mean.

It's amazing how Arin can make this easy relaxing game the most difficult-looking stressful experience imaginable. That's our video game boy.

I got the game after watching this and one I thing I immediately learned is that you can use the num pad to input numbers for the credit cards. You don’t need to tap the in-game keypad. This makes everything so much easier

I now have mental images of Malcolm McDowell singing as Michael McDonald singing What a Fool Believes and it's about stocking cheese in a slender fridge in a bodega.

You know watching this, I'm getting PTSD flashbacks of working at Walgreens! God what a nightmare that was! You were usually the only one working the ENTIRE STORE. Because all the kiss assers hung out in the back with the manager doing nothing all day. While you restocked the shelves, adjusted the prices, rang up customers, ckeaned up the store, and helped customers find things all at the same time. Never work in retail kids!!
