In this episode, we finish installing the diff and head out for a drive to test it out. I’ve put a lot of miles on the car in the short time since the swap and I’ve been loving how it feels with the 3.26 gear ratio. For a street car with a 6 speed transmission it seems like the sweet spot. This was made particularly easy with the “parts bin” swapping from other Toyota/Lexus products. For this swap we utilized the entire differential from a Lexus GS430. I can’t wait add power and see how it feels.
