Meme: That means that you and your sister’s parents a special doctors that keep teeth clean and healthy, trained to take care of teeth, and checks teeth and gums and make sure they’re healthy, and my parents were pharmacists, which are special doctors that give you medicines and vaccines.
It ironic that even though their parents were dentists, they still had lots of sugary food and sweets on the table. Not to mention that this was most likely during dinner because their father said “How was school?” meaning this was probably late at night.
That's actually clever storytelling; despite being a funny gag scene, it showcases they were in fact spoiled poorly to the point of making them (mainly Velvet) brats.
I love how veneer was British as a little homeless boy, and the fact that their parents were dentists yet they had a lot of SWEET food on the table Edit: I’M FAMOUS WOOOH
The amount of thought that went into emphasizing how spoiled they are is crazy. Notice their dad says “how was school today”, which means its after school. THEY ARE EATING CEREAL AND DONUTS FOR DINNER
I think they dont have tooth problem thats why their parents still giving them sugar... I mean, they are a dentist for other people, not for their own kids...
"You know I never had much as a kid. Just loving parents, stability and a mansion, and a thriving baked goods enterprise for me to inherit ... useless crap like that."
They really haven't. Disney did pure evil, irredeemable villains for a long, long time. It's only in the last couple decades or so that they've been doing the whole "sympathetic villain" trope. Sometimes it works, like with John Silver from Treasure Planet. Other times not so much. But even in recent years, they have had irredeemable villains (though with admittedly varying levels of quality.) And DreamWorks has had badly written antagonists too.
What I like about this movie and Last Wish is that they both show different kinds of villains with Jack Horner and Velvet both being spoiled brats that also happen to be evil, while Goldi locks and Veneer are examples of more sympathetic villains
I need to know what meal of the day they’re eating. The cereal implies breakfast. The family being together at the table at some point after school implies dinner. The sweets imply dessert. It’s sunny out and looks like noon. What is this.
I think the dentist joke (the fact theyre dentists yet still feed them sweets) is actually a clever piece of storytelling, other than being a joke for the irony, it shows that their parents SPOILED them going as far as to stray away from their known belief, theyre dentists but for thwir kids they're willing to give then watever even if it goes against what they preach.
@@JordyAnimations if that's the case, then Velvet is probably upset she didn't get named after a dental procedure too. Imagine if her name was Root Canal 😭
The voice actor who plays Veneer deserves an Oscar for the way he delivered that line. You can hear the “I’m so DONE with this b*tch” oozing from ever word 😂
People be sleeping on Trolls 3 because Velvet and Veneer are great antagonists in this movie. Go listen to the Mount Rageous soundtrack! It's definitely a great animated film being slept on just because its Trolls
Parents: Dentists Also the Parents: lets their kids have sweets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Also, that Oliver Twist reference actually made me laugh
Depends. Maybe Velvet felt like she was pressures to succeed in school so she can be just as successful as her both dentist parents who wish her all the best but her fragile child mind couldn't handle all those big expectations at such young age. A simple question "How was school today?" might as well sound in her ears like "I hope you did good with your exams and grades, otherwise you are a failure in my eyes." Or she's just a brat.
