We had a Stranger walk into our house! 

I was quite surprised that with that large house and large family, you did not have a full blown security system already.

Glad you guys are okay! A few days ago my family was watching a horror movie together. It was like 11:00 at night and I don’t usually watch horror movies because they creep me out a ton. All the sudden we hear 3 huge bangs on the door, they were so loud we could hear it from upstairs. My whole family was kinda scared because we were all creeped out from the movie. We locked all the doors and pulled the blinds over the windows. After a few minutes, we checked outside and there was a huge shoe print on our front step and there was no package or anything (it had been raining). A little later I went upstairs and out of my window i saw a shadowy figure creeping around outside of our house. It was really creepy.

All of those scenarios you described are truly some of my biggest fears!! Glad everyone in the family is okay, because any of those could have gone very wrong. Home security is more important than some people realize!

To tiffany u have a lovely family and a lovey home some times it can be hard to keep evryone safe ❤ but just know ur such a lovey woman wish u all the best and its so good that u buy securety stuff for ur family and i love how u treat evryone the same so no one gets left out wish u all the best x♡♡♡

at 1:45 once i was watching a movie until my doorbell kept on ringing and ringing until my mum opened the door and there was no-one there so we had to put cameras around for our safter. Hope you guys are all okay now. x

That is such a scary story! If that happened to me in my house I would be so scared. The fact that after that happened they could just tell a story on youtube straight after, you guys are so brave!

So glad everyone is ok. When we finished building our house, we got a ring with it and an alarm system. The ring has helped us so much. Though we have to charge it frequently ever since our town was hit by 2 hurricanes, before that, it lasted for more than a year without charging.

I get how you must have felt. My husband and I were woken by someone ringing our doorbell in the middle of the night. He went after them in his underpants!!!! My now late parents once had an attempted nighttime break in after my dad had just come home following surgery. My 83 year old mother attacked the intruder who was trying to break the front door sensor and chain by spraying them with deodorant!!! They ran off. It brought a new meaning to the phrase “Sure won’t let you down”!!!! But having just ordered one of these doorbells for my home, they would have been very useful for my parents and helped us keep an eye on who was calling at our family home.

I’m glad you are ok! A few years ago me and my family were just sitting in bed or chilling and we were all in different spaces in the house, we all went out to the lounge at the same time and said we had seen a human figure out our window. Our curtains were shut and doors locked we also had tall fences and a gate that was super loud with a doorbell on it. Even though the curtains were shut we seen a shadow walk past the curtains and it was so creepy. We went to our side door and unlocked it and looked outside my dad went out and searched the yard with a torch and everything but there was no one… what makes this super creepy is that there is no way they could leave our yard without making a loud noise because the gate is very loud and the fence isn’t easy to climb so there is no way they climbed so quick because we went out like really quickly. So we have no idea where this shadow went, who it was or even what it was… we moved houses a year later so I feel a bit safer now because I was petrified of living there after that. At our new house it’s pretty safe honestly we have been here for as long as we were at our old house where this story happened and never had anything suspicious so it’s really good. One time we had a drunk person come up our tanker track and slept in their truck for the night on our tanker track but they were drunk so they clearly had no clue where they were or what they were doing and they left once my dad woke them up when he went to milk early that morning. Stay safe guys!❤️

My family has security cameras in and outside the house, and it's convenient and makes you feel extra safe. The reason why we have cameras in the house is that when my sister and I were teens, we used to fight A LOT, so my mom would always be like, "Okay, I'm going to look at the footage, and whoever is lying about starting the fight is getting in trouble" Yeah I know having cameras in the home can be weird for others to hear. Still, it helped out a lot when it came to our fighting because we just stopped fighting at one point.

My mom was going to pick up her Godson yesterday and she went to the wrong house accidentally and the man answered the door with a gun to her head. EVENTHOUGH he asked who was at the door and she said her name. All he had to say was you have the wrong house. I’m was so scared for her when I found out. I’m so glad you guys are okay

So scary! My neighbors are all super close and we always watch each other’s house when they are gone. We will bring packages in if they get them delivered so they are not sitting outside. Maybe next time ask a neighbor or friend to grab your packages when you are gone.
