You probably could have countered with $5. That was a professional estate sale company running the sale, and they would make only around 30 cents selling the jacket for $1.
How long you been doing yard sales for? In Australia ours are 10% as good as they were 15 years ago. I haven’t missed many sales in the past 20 years. Just started a channel of picking too. ☺️ Everyone has eBay on their phone and wants too much now. All the good collectables never come out for yard sales, always sold prior on Facebook or eBay. Most of my picks are pre weekend sales to beat the crowds.

I was actually surprised it looked so good on you being a cowboy hat, but dang!! 🔥 Sammie, you looked adorable in the fuzzy hat you put on in the antique shop! Boy did that bring back memories! Those furry hats with the pompoms at the bottoms of the strings were popular when I was in grade school and my sisters and I all had one!! It was like wearing a cat on your head!! LOL I hope you bought that along with the Santa sweater!! I'm glad you guys called out that estate sale lady! I truly believe that many of those places have forgotten what their true purpose is, to help most times, a grieving family clear out their loved ones belongings to settle their estate so they can pay for their loved ones final expenses!! Well, the family won't make a dime if those running the sale are both rude and ridiculous on their pricing! It's always better to sell an item at a cheaper price than have it left at the end of the day bc you asked too much for it!! If enough people started taking your lead and called these places out, they would change their tune I'm sure!! Great video, keep on living the dream!! ❤👍❤

Nothing is a better smell then inside of a boot store! I grew up wearing wranglers and Justins I remember a little boy making fun of me because I was wearing cowboy boots to school in first grade. Tanner it just doesn't get much better then a good pair of boots, nice looking jeans with well ironed snap up shirt where I come from. Have a great weekend ahead. God bless you both!
My dream has always been to buy a boat like that and put mannequins dressed like a James Bond movie in them (bikinis & Ascots) and display that in my front yard. Complete with plastic palm trees, colored gravel...blue for water and tan for the island. Tucker holding Sammi back from the street was gold.

Keep your eye out for vintage chest of drawers (waist high for Sammi) to use for Finn’s changing table. Also a book case. Nothing like solid wood furniture. Keep your hair longer if you’re playing a cowboy, that looks much better, especially with that great hat.

Great idea the carpet in the back and containers looks and will work good! I love magnet fishing! How about dumpster diving retail dumpsters maybe! You could change it up! Where there's mold there's Gold lol I like that ! You come up with some good ones!
I moved to Bernardsville, NJ in late 70’s then to Cape May and then Sea Isle City. Lest SIC and moved to Myrtle Beach, SC in December 1982. Love watching you and Sammi and have known from the beginning you would go and be where you want to because of your love for people and your smart sense of how the world is. I love Sea Isle City been going there since I was a child both of my girls spent summers there now my oldest daughter brings my grandsons there and my other move to Charlotte NC She went to college at Costal Carolina in Conway right near Myrtle Beach

As someone who has gone to Estate Sales for 30+ yrs for stuff for myself as well as an vintage an antique business you are spot on!! There business is dealing with people, they need to be at minimum cordial and helpful. I have no patience for rude and condescending people. There are other choices to give our business to.
A person that cannot make eye contact. when they talk to you should never be trusted and has loosely esteem of themselves. You keep it real. Keep your heads high be proud of who you are

It's so funny you should say that the woman in the estate sale gave Sammie a higher price because of her coat. Well, I'm glad I'm not the only person who thinks that way. Let me tell you what happened to me. I had a Coach bag that my boyfriend gave me. Everytime I had estimates to have work done on my house and they saw my Coach pocketbook the prices used to exorbitant. Then I wised up and starting carrying a cheap little bag and whenever I have to have work done the prices are so much more reasonable. I tell people this and they don't seem to believe me. That's the way people are but I am sorry to hear how rude that person was to you also. I love your videos. You guys have great chemistry. Keep living the dream!
They have a store almost exactly like this up in Hendersonville NC. THE STAIRS FLEW ME FO A LOOP. They have a lot of recreated things in this place just like the other in NC

Yer feet are same size as mine. Nice boots and hat. I've got a similar pair of boots. I've worn em to death. You've got a lot of nice business places around where ever yar. New Jersey I guess my son is moving there soon. I have a cat she's very loud. I'm always telling her to be quiet. She had to start pushing her watering tower around just now to alert me it was empty. Always surprises me how smart they are.

I agree with you both and appreciate the honesty. A lot of that stuff will end up in the landfill simply because of an unprofessional attitude on the part of the sellers.

When you put on the hat at the store, I thought wow he looks like more like Robert Redford than Paul Newman. Then hat is similar to the one he wore as Sundance Kid.. you just need a big moustache, lol. Keep Sammie and Finn fed well.
I still haven't been able to watch all your past videos but I'm working on it. I have about the year ago ones done. Then I'll go to the two years, etc. Plus I have to keep on top of the newer ones. It's a job I'll tell you but I love every second of them. Then i have other people I love many who you know, like BBDave, SAP (Mike), LN (Jack), WV (Wade), SS (Alex), What the Hale$, MTS (Mike), Curiosity Inc (Alex), and some others, actually too many to list.
