She tried to make us wait as long as possible... but Karen FINALLY had her baby!! And holy cow was that fast! From the moment we saw the signs to the moment we got to the mini barn this little bundle of joy was ready to rock and roll!!

Seeing him do his zoomies around the pasture and then seeing this video and how quick he wanted to get up on his feet and as much as he wanted to be up walking around, makes sense now! He showed his true personality right after he was born. I still can't get over him snuggling you Katie. It's soooo adorable! 🤗😍😍 Momma did an amazing job and so did you and Jonathan. 👏 28:05

We had a lovely mare named Cricket. Babies who will be gray will often be dark when born. My children and I slept in the stall next door with a half wall between us and our mare. We heard nothing, but had a strong, dancing foal in the morning when we woke.

My horse went 12 mo, and when the foal stood up, the mama was terrified of it. We had the vet give her a tranquilizer and he had to teach the foal how to bend down to nurse.

Oh my goodness I love Katie’s reaction to the baby mini. Her reactions are just like a proud momma, it was precious and priceless, not sure who was more excited Katie or Karen, for it being over! Then at the end oh be still my beating heart it was so so precious!! I love the name Squirt that is really cute. Kenny, Kevin, Klaus. Any name will be perfect. ❤❤
