yep, I worked my bttt off for 15 years to get a good wage and numerous promotions, paid for evening classes too. Each year the min wage goes up Im valued less because ours dont go up like that. Ive lost about 35% value of my skills and it will only get worse.
This guy is spot on, Starmer is a communist and we're going to be in a terrible state in 5 years time. And don't kid yourself that we'll have an election then...

Stamp duty on second homes: Going to holiday homes be could be more costly for guests. 12. VAT on private education is disadvantaging the high working to middle class, those that just about afford to pay private education fees. 13. Duty on domestic air travel. 15. Quality of life in the UK is declining ,one reasons is due too each year been more tax. Where is the robot tax? Give a like to this post if you think its tyranny
_Freedom is down_ Freedom for whom? Not everyone benefits from the privileges you enjoy - like multiple properties, private education, or private healthcare. Many people in the UK don’t have these options and may feel that these inequalities actually limit freedom, especially when essential services and opportunities aren't accessible to all. As we saw with 14 years of Tory government, when policies benefit only the wealthier portion of society, inequality grows, which can restrict overall freedom by creating barriers to advancement and opportunities for those less well-off. In a more equal society, everyone has a fairer chance to succeed, which ultimately strengthens freedom and opportunity across the board. A budget that seeks to address these disparities isn't necessarily bad; instead, it can aim to balance freedoms and resources so more people can pursue their goals and improve their quality of life.
@@rottenbeggar CPT will decrease the incentive to risk capital to set up the next generation of businesses - which also employ vast amounts of people. Its a massive own goal and punishes the risk takers who are investing ingrowing the economy
@@sbor2020 Go to a communism country and see how that has pans out - taxing wealth weirdly is attacking the symptoms, not the underlying cause of why the ecomony is tanking. If they grow the private ecomony they create more wealth for everyone. This is like fining your striker for scoring too many goals.
If you actually paid attention to the budget, you'd realise that smaller businesses have explicitly been awarded a larger allowance before they start paying employee NI. They can employ the equivalent of 4 FTE at the living wage without having to pay any NI
@@benblakemore745 and exactly how many relatively profitable small businesses employ less than 4 people so will 'reap the rewards' of this diversionary tactic ..?? pretty much none.....
Great call Barry from Cumbria - knowledgeable and succinct. You should help us all out and become an independent politician. We'd vote for you! We're in hospitality too and it's a constant struggle. Good luck
yeah but farage supports communist russia, even though putin sends his russian army to go killing people & stealing their land, farage blames the west for the murderers murders ongoing. so what kind of man supports putin ? A LOST ONE !
Best comment ever... "this country rewards people who don't work" bang on mate. Sickens me every time I look at what I pay in income tax every month partly to keep the bone idle and fund the endless influx of illegal immigrants.
Spot on. But we ARE waking up. The problem is WHAT can we do!? The British people feel powerless and like we don't know what to do... Without being jailed for trying!
They should give tax relief to people who send their kids to private school - because they ain't using the state's educational resources... obvious really. But yes labour - the party of small minded petty envious idiots...
I respect parents who push the limit and go without to send there kids to private school while already paying into the system to send their kids to state school ,this is a saving to the country ,the taxing of envy .
"ive always voted Labour for all my life, i live up north, so to get the Country sorted, we will always vote labour. Our parents did, our grandparents did, so i will" THAT is whats wrong with this Country
I'm up North & after watching what Labour have done for years in power, then to the much needed council! I personally feel they make things worsed for the poor "always have" I'll never vote for them.
Why was Kier starmer laughing at rishi sunak speech with his side kick, that was the most disrespectful thing I've ever seen in parliament, that's not away to react when you are being called liars,it just shows their bloody contempt.
absolutely.... small story, friend of mine owns a business that deals almost exclusively with European clients, lots of his staff voted for Brexit, then were shocked when they were made redundant following the massive impact of Brexit on their income source......
Absolutely. I came to England in 1974 from Denmark. I was shocked. London was was medieval. Nothing has changed believe me. I am perplexed as to why British people put up with it. Work ethic is appalling, unless the jpb is flashy with a 6 fig salary, bonuses and virtually a 3 day week and has status. People in the City roll in late Monday. Go for long weekends on Friday. Nothings changed. SMEs work for themselves. Growth here has always been poor. I could go on. The previous caller hit the nail on the head. The French work less hours, but productivity is double.
barry check the figures as of april next year if you have to put up wages plus the reduction of the ni threshold you will be crippled with massive wage increase i thing this budget will create a recession this is very very scary
So many in government - are inexperienced, and that applies to Labour. I've never voted Labour, did not and never ever will. When Rishi Sunak slaughtered them today over their Labour budget - they sat there laughing and smug. Starmer and Reeves in particular. Well, that underpins how awful Labour and what it represents is.
To all the first time buyers in Cambridge, Brighton, London, Surrey or any other expensive city who want to buy an actual house with more than one room. Rachel Thieves just cost you a couple of thousand on top of the already overpriced housing price. She hasn't thought this through at all!
If our country is up to the eyeballs in debt as we are told then this budget is not tough enough is it? Considering the vast debts we owe I think we may feel reasonably reassured we are able to cope with Rachel's plans for recovering our mutual financial stability.
Why pass on the cost just take a cut in your own personal earnings as a business owner , why do you think starmer said the ones with the broadest shoulder will pay
Question: You pay the raised NI, minimum wage etc. for all your existing employees and whack up your prices (then taking a profit hit because customers stop buying your product) OR you sack a few staff in order to keep your prices stable and retain your customers. Neither of these situations is good for the business or its owner. Your ignorance is staggering.
What would you call him? This is a man who let Saville get away with abusing thousands more vulnerable kids, he is a monster! This comes from a labour supporter😢
