I met one when we're trying to open the 8 player door. we were just sitting at the table chatting, and he was left alone and wasn't brought up with us when the floor moved up 🤣 i just watch his icon just slowly goes further away under us
0:09 Ah yes, when the only sky kid that can help you with the wasteland plant chooses the wrong side... ....just for them to realize it later that they did it for nothing or ragequit and leave.
Im so glad that no one guided me through the realms. I did it my self and i found a friend really end like at the end of eaden and he didnt even come with me through the last place. Sad :"(
English is a weird mix of many different languages. It’s a Germanic language, so English has a lot more in common with German than say a Romantic or Slavic language. Because we have some similarities, it’s actually pretty easy to guess what some German words mean just by reading or hearing them. For example “vater” pronounced “Fahter” means “Father.”
Lol😆😆😆 thats so cute how your friend tries to speak German XD (I am from Germany too) and she just said "My friend is not of Hacks" ( *me trying to translate this in a good way *) i laughed soo Hard XD
Sometimes the irrational way in which players speak and behave surprises me. I once had someone scold me and claim I was hacking because my server switched as I burned a plant.
I think he is not Germany, cuz he dont say anything about German. I understand what your friend said, example : wie alt bist du ? likes "how old are you?", but i think Lara's messenge "Mein Freund nicht von Hacks", I guess she use Google Translate :)))
I had the opposite when I was a moth. It was still my first week playing and they were convinced I was a veteran pretending to be a moth and then tried to flirt with me. 1) I am a grown man and I do not deal with the bs 2) I hadn't said my age so I could have been a kid
From my experience, I have found that young German kids, particularly the boys, tend to be a little.... well sexist I guess. Like this one time a few of my mums friend's came over and brought their kids (we were in Germany visiting family), my younger brother was playing on his laptop and couldn't get one of his new games to work, so one of the boys and a girl wanted to see what they could do (they were both like 7 or 8) and when the girl started suggesting things, the boy just straight up says; "Girls can't play computer games! They're too stupid to use a computer!" I was very weirded out by this and asked his mum about it, and she just said "All young boys are like that, they grow out of that attitude eventually" Sooo maybe its some sort of cultural thing they have over there... idk
Well I am from German and idk how it is in other countries but here schools often have games with boys vs girls (not a good choice in my opinion) and they kinda stick to that the whole time which probably causes that problem? Not all are like that of curse but I know from my childhood that that was a huge problem my teachers didn't really care about It gets better with time (I'm a girl and with 14yrs I have only been friends with boys so yea)
I'm Dutch, but you can always send me a friend request on discord @ silencehasnowords#9416 (or here in replies if that works) so I can practice German sometimes👀👀 not online very long though hhhh
the first clip I'm sorry to the veteran who wore the pink petal cape that kept honking at me when i did this xD despite them honking and pointing to go to the other side
I did the exact same thing as the moth at the start just yesterday (i think?). Like the exact same scenario and shit. I felt so disappointed in myself for not being able to land on those plants and even ruining the process that was made by the veteran that was there.
Man that person was weird ... Though the German sentences at some part didn't really make sense ... like they were kind of understandable but not really grammatically correct. I *do* understand that the focus was/is on the weird player, but I just can't resist on correcting and explaining the German sentences. 4:31 "Mein Freund nicht von Hacks." would translate to "My friend not from hacks.", which kind of doesn't make sense. I'd rather write "Mein Freund hackt nicht." or "Mein Freund verwendet keine Hacks.", which translates to "My friend doesn't hack." and "My friend doesn't use hacks." (depending on whether your friend is female or male, you can use "Freundin" for females and "Freund" for males, whereas it could be misunderstood as "girlfriend" or "boyfriend", because in German "Freundin" means both friend but also girlfriend and "Freund" means friend but also boyfriend, so depending on the context, it could be misunderstood). 5:43 "Hören Sie mit Ihren einseitigen Ausrichtung auf Mädchen!" translates to "Listen with your biased orientation to girls!". If you just add an "auf" to the end of the sentence and write "Ihrer" instead of "Ihren", it would be correct, because then it'd say "Hören Sie mit Ihrer einseitigen Ausrichtung auf Mädchen auf!", which translates to "Stop with your biased orientation to girls!". 5:46 "Wie alt bist du?", that sentence is correct, it translates to "How old are you?", but I just wanted to add here, that this is the informal version, whereas the sentence from 5:43 was very formal. "du" means "you", whereas "Sie" also means "you", but is very formal. In these cases, it's better to use "du" instead of "Sie", because you aren't talking to your boss or something, just to another player. So the informal version of that sentence would be "Hör mit deiner einseitigen Ausrichtung auf Mädchen auf!". I'm sorry for my bad English, so please feel free to correct me. Also, to the German speakers out there, please also feel free to correct me if I'm wrong regarding the corrections and explanations of the German sentences. Thanks y'all and sorry for the text wall :'D
Hi! I'm actually the friend in the video as well who tried to speak German~ Unfortunately, I am also not a master of the language yet I wanted to try to get me and my friends' thoughts across! This feedback is actually really helpful :>> Thank you so much♡ヾ(๑╹◡╹)ノ"
Real hackers are using sub accounts if they want to hack so they don’t waste the main account. Sky Team are banning hackers. But I remember I saw Russian 🇷🇺 player he can move faster as thunder
Hi! I would just like to comment as well even though this video had been up for years already~ I am the skykid named Lara in the video as seen talking to the moth with my friends :> I usually look back at this from time to time to see how our memories were back then and it's still as classic as ever :3 Thanks to @skysummer for keeping this gem ๑>ᴗ
God that beginning with the plant in wasteland gave me flashbacks to last night where I was playing on switch and doing wasteland cr and this new player didn't understand the plant could be done much easier with two people so I had to get my alternate account to help with the plant 😭😭
i once nearly got to burn the whole plant down... but my one friend went afk and then my moth friend didnt know they where supposed to stop the one half from burning but standing at the bottom... so it grew back...
