Lauren get some Aqua Net hairspray and keep in the house. If you see a scorpion and he isn’t around you can spray it. It will get stiff and not be able to move.

did you find a good exterminator?! We recently moved into a home that has scorpions laying babies in our home. I have found all size in different areas in the house. I am just as terrified as Lauren because of my kids!! When I was younger, we lived in Gilbert for a few years that had a bunch of scorpions in the house. I was never as afraid of them like I am now! It just because of my kids and google scares the living crap out of me! All the things that could happen if specific scorpions stinging you!!! I cannot do it! I know do it yourself extermination is in Tucson. I am sure they have better exterminators out there, since they are more common... Goodness! Well on the happier note, I was glad Lauren got to see her sister! It has been over a year since I have seen my sister who due any day now with baby #3. I know the feeling of miss them so much and not having them around. Ugh praying for you and myself that cold weather gets here sooner rather than later so all these nasty insects will go away!!!! I love watching your family. :)

I lived in Surprise AZ from 2012-2018, and hated the scorpions. Best way is to spray all outside around the house and inside. If you get boxes and they are left at door outside, be careful, one might slip in. Not trying to scare you but putting you on alert, happened to me. Ugh! Also, get sticky pads, bigger than a mice one, fold them up, looks like a see through box, sticky part inside. Get it for your garage. Spray in there as well. Home Depot has them. Get bulks of it. In other words, just spray everywhere and make sure it’s safe for little ones and pets. Blessings 🙏

I also have a major phobia of scorpions. I moved into an apartment in Mesa some time ago that was infested with scorpions and I was even stung in my bed once by a tiny bark scorpion.. There’s certain home improvement tasks you can do to keep them out of the house, such as caulking any openings under sinks/cupboards, checking vents, removing excess water, etc. Once I moved away from that area to a new apartment, I didn’t see any, so they seem to be in certain areas more than others. Also.. they are more active during the summer. I had to break my lease from the first apartment because I had a crazy phobia. I really hope Lauren starts to feel better. ❤️❤️

I would definitely recommend sealing your house! When I lived in my apartment in Mesa, AZ we lived on the second floor and a scorpion climbed the walls crawled into our bed. I woke up to being stung 6 times (3 on each leg) by a scorpion and was mortified. Luckily my boyfriend didn’t get stung but it’s terrifying. So I completely get it Lauren. I was hysterical and we went to stay with my sister in law for 3 months before we moved back into the apartment. I’m so sorry!!

Lived in AZ 20+ years! The bigger, the better. Babies can’t control their poison as much if they are stinging!! Also, get an exterminator to come spray for them around the yard once a month. Worth it with Alessi around!

'I think you're right Lauren and it's nothing to mess around with..and you do have to protect Alessi..I would check carpet and go with a no carpet floor.. corners sealed that's what I would do.. always be observent..and I would check closets and cupboards where they have dark corners..installing bright lights in your walk in cupboard closet areas..your looking for sound.. movement and always observing while reaching In.. flashlights really help..you become trained and you know you keep yourself safe.. people think it's okay an insect bite..why do we have to deal with this.. I think its ok to play it safe all life long..👍

I live in AZ too and had been finding those bugs in my house and got pest control to come out and he said it’s called a vinegaroon and made me feel bad because even though they’re horrendous looking, apparently they’re good bugs and actually eat scorpions!

I live in chandler AZ and we have bad scorpions 🦂 my mom and brother have been but so my tip is go hunting every night use a scorpion spray.
