As for the Knot On My Watch, it's a detangling leave it most often used after a shampoo and worn as a leave in conditioner, however it can be used at anytime. love the coco wash conditioning cleanser and used to love knot on my watch detangler but it stopped working on my hair🥺on a side note frosted flakes protein powder is WILD!!!!!!!!! have a great weekend ❤

Aunt Jackie's has a twisting gel called Hold Tight Braid and Twist Gel. It's more like a paste in consistency, but I like it for twists. It smooths and holds the twusts very well.

So I use aunt jackies . I love the grape seed line. The clarifying shampoo, the conditioner, the quench for leave in, and the coconut seal in . I also used the blue conditioner that makes your hair soft .I’ve never used anything else, but after watching this, I’m definitely expanding my horizons. Aunt Jackie’s is the only thing that’s growing my hair so thank you for reviewing these!!
Also, my favorite buttercreams are from Yadain Cultural Solutions. They are based in NY, but have locations across the country and ship as well of course. I usually go in store because I don’t like waiting.
I used the Aunt Jackie’s Quench leave in before. For my hair and my son (we have the same type) it worked because I have high porosity hair. I lose hydration like crazy so the watery formula gets soaked up. I usually use it when I do two braids for the week.
I just got the Ice Curls glossy curling jelly because it was on sale and it's my first Aunt Jackie's product, excited to see whether I like it. No flakes on the small section I tested, so that's a good sign.
It's affordable. It's works for me. HYDRATING AF!! I LOOOOOVE the detangler! The leave-in is chef's kiss 💋! The don't shrink gel is great. I've heard good things about the ice boss gel by them and I'm going to give that a try next.

never tried the fenty product buuutttt you should try the hanahana beauty shea body butter (texture wise it looks similar and it’s about $6 cheaper) and the scents are great! i like the lavender vanilla scent!! it’s also on sale RN at ulta. also black women owned!!

I'm so jealous! I moved outside the country and they don't have expanded "ethnic" hair aisle in the stores here. This was a little piece of home. Also, I LOVE Aunt Jackies. They have a really nice hair Avocado oil tha'ts great for sealing.
My issue with Aunt Jackie's don't shrink gel are 1. The smell is SO strong to me and 2. I don't even have sensitive skin or any known allergies and it broke me out terribly. I wanted to like it so bad though.
Marshall’s in my area stay on top of the black care hairline , I’m starting to go there first before Walmart and Target. Got the detangler for $3 very good prices. Also unopened and not thrashed.🔥
I use the curl la la, and it works great for me whether it’s twists, refresh, whatever. I do love the gel, but as my hair has gotten longer, my texture doesn’t need that much hold. Also the prices are hard to pass up!
I LOVEEEEE The Aunt Jackie’s Don’t Shrink and Curl Boss gels! The smell, the moisture, the hold. I had the same experience with the Curl La La, it just wasn’t doing anything. But baby them gels!? And Aunt Jackie’s IS Black Owned ❤
I used to LOVE Aunt Jackie's flaxseed line, especially the curl elongating gel!!! I preferred the spray leave-in as well. I used to buy multiples. Now, I prefer The Doux's Crazy Sexy Curl mousse with Uncle Funky's Daughter's Curly Magic paired on top. I believe my hair is slightly tighter, finer, and fluffier than Will's, so I backed off from the stronger hold products. I accept that I need to refresh daily. I hope I can get days out of my hairstyle when I have more length. After a few days, I'm able to pick out the soft hold products and wear a big fro. I feel like I get less breakage when my hair is in a fro with a low tension headband. Unfortunately, these products aren't "touchable." They feel slightly gummy. I prefer the manageability, though. Per usual, I love watching Will!!!
The flaxseed gel is good but the hair has to be wet. I spray with the As I Am Jamaican Black Castor Oil water and then put the gel in. I have 4c hair and my curls look beautiful using both products.

That Curl Lala and Don’t Shrink has been my go to since I chopped my hair into a pixie. Love the combo for my 3c/4a fine hair. But I didn’t like them when my hair was waist length. I use Curl Lala alone on my 9yo daughter’s 3b/c hair when I braid it. It’s a good light base to keep the hair moisturized until to give her a nice braid out a few days later.
Just tried the Aunt Jessie's Gel and, yes honey, it is GIVING just like Wet Line! And I used it all by itself there!!! Will definitely stay in my routine and rotarion!!! It's a one and done!!! Thanks Willonawhim!!!!❤
