It must be lovely in all weathers in such a beautiful big motor home .It is very big though to park and must be expensive to run .Just be happy in all that you do.Missed seeing you .x
Sorry about the weather 🙁 and we know the dreaded feeling when you ground out 🥺 In a long vehicle there are so many views and angles to worry about. 😫 But it’s always fixable and and we hope it won’t spoil your trip ❤ The van looks so lush 😊xx
Feel so sorry for you guys with the the weather. We were hoping it would have got better. We have a nearly 9m van too, think you did absolutely the right thing in getting out there. We learned so much about being in a bigger van by going places! It looked really comfy and seemed to cope brilliantly! Great positives to take!
Thank you the experience was fantastic in the new Moho and like you say getting used to it was invaluable to us rubbish weather but win some lose some thank fully we have more travel up our sleeve x
Get your Friend to Fabricate some Shaped Thin Chequer Plate to around each of the rear corners to act as a skid plate type of thing , or plain Shaped Ally plating but painted
Sorry to hear U had bad weather on the Costa del Sol. But when I was there in the Malaga provenance of Andulica last December the locals could tell me that they had 3 years of no rain. So they were praying for rain so as to escape the drought. It's my favourite region of Spain.
Oh no awful weather and sadly grounding the new van 😢 although eventful trips make for some of the best memories and campfire stories. 20 years on we are still talking about the time we ran over the cadac with 3.5t camper 😂 it survived but is a little wonky and still used 😂
Hi Both, My Goodness you have definitely not had very good luck with the weather 😢🌦️you had a nasty bump on your motorhome but at the end of the day the kids & you guys are safe I know your motorhome is your pride and joy but at the end of the day a motorhome or any other transport is only a piece of metal you can replace the damage but you cannot replace people all the best guys 💖👍
Hi there bad luck with the grounding out. I suggest you get a tow bar fitted when you can it will help protect to the rear and put marks light's on it and maby a pair of Ferrari roller
My brother in-Law live in Spain and they were crying out for rain, Veg and Fruit farms crying out for rain. We all expect the sun when we go to visit but Rain prayed for,
You have so much more space maybe that’s what kept the children contented when they couldn’t enjoy the weather ,it always seems to rain in the half term for them.
Just watched the vid were in Europe nearly done 3 months before Albania. Sorry the weather been crap we've been lucky to see the worst and best. I'm interested to see the repair method actually wondering if you vlogged it? Gonna look now 😄 fingers crossed it got sorted the towbar suggestion sounds good 👍
Ah unbelievable gosh the weather is so crap 23/24 (everywhere glad it's not just us welsh for a change) don't blame you charl for keeping colouring outside we rent house's and you wouldn't believe where crayon and pen gets! Motorhomes aren't cheep so have to look after them (she is beautiful) never mind hope your next trip is sunny we're due for our 1st trip of 24 in our van (mainly due to weather) hope you home and safe take care lovelies ❤
Thank you so much! Yeah they try and be careful but in fairness the muck gets everywhere not song that again! Have fun on your travels… rent houses you say hmm 🤔 xx
With your problem solving ideas with the van building im sure you can come up with a idea of sorting out some aluminium side skirts for for protecting the corners. To stop this in the future...
Sorry you had such bad weather on your trip, but having lived here in Spain now for nearly ten years this is the driest period we have had since 2019 so the rain is desperately needed - but not nice when you have travelled for some sun ☀️ love your Moho and only a lot jealous lol
That’s okay Spain needed it just wish we chose a different week that’s all haha the kids were so good too considering all the Moho timers thank you for being so nice xx
Theres a beautiful new site in Trefegwlys in mid wales called “ Meadow Springs” Lovely park for the kids, water sport lake for canoeing and paddle boarding, sand pit ,golf, footy, pizza hut, And restaurant which is 5 star and views all round to die for! Hope to see you there one day👍 Great vlogg thankyou xx
Our motorhome is 8.7m so parking and manoeuvring on sites needs to be a team effort. I get out and walk behind van checking for grounding and trees and anything we need to avoid. We have a tow bar fitted so if we do ground its only the tow bar arms that scrape. With a van the size of ours the passenger has to help more :) Ive enjoyed your trip, getting me in the mood for ours in June:)
Rest assured we were in the same storm Cadiz area. It was alful but as I said last week we needed that rain. Its got Malaga area out of crisis point. Done no good at all for my arthritis. I well remember the pencil crisis. Glad you didn't finish up with a chocolate one. Take care. Sun now shining here.
We heard Spain needed the rain which is good they got some we just wish we didn’t go on that particular week lol usually rain comes and goes but it stuck hard didn’t it?! Bet the country is joining very tropical and green now though x
That is totally us. When we got married it was stunning sun as got into church. As they opened the back door it was starting to get cloudy. Half way down the aisle it was lashing it down and did for most the day so couldn't get photos done till 7 at night.
A shame about the weather and the rear quarter of your motorhome Stu. As you pointed out plenty of other long overhang motorhomes had done the same. It's a pride thing I guess? It won't take much to fix & I read in the comments someone suggested chequer plate skid plates which I think too are a really great idea. Happy travels.
Shame about the weather ye got in Spain, but it looks like the bigger motorhome made things more comfortable being stuck inside. Hope the little bit of damage is easily fixed x
Shame about the weather like you say such is life. We rolled off that ferry you where getting on and had a great 2 weeks on the Costa Dourada and drove back through France wkend just gone. Ferry was rough but great way to drop right down into Spain 😎
Rotten luck with the grounding of the van. Large, heavy and low slung vans are all susceptible to this issue, although fitting variable height air suspension can help. The Radfords have had a few occasions when they grounded and eventually had Air Suspension fitted. Driving on / off and around ferry’s,campsites and airs seems to be the most challenging. Take care y’all!
@@TheRollingRucks Stu is as game as a badger driving that beast. I have HGV & Double decker coach driving experience and I know jumping into something bigger than an L3H3 isn’t for the faint hearted! Hats off to him!
Hello hello how you all doing thought I best come and comment as I haven't for a while lol but just remember I always watch and like your vids even though I don't comment lol and love every min of them plus it's been a hard time for us this year but things are looking up hopefully and been also trying to build our RU-vid channel so been very busy but hopefully by the end of this month things should calm down a lot lol but anyway you all take care all the best love from our family to yours x❤

Can't help thinking , that those wipers look very fragile ..they look so thin ...anyway I'm sure they've had some action.on this trip of yours ( unfortunately )....safe travels..😊
Just been sat in your old van guys at M and C lol took a pic of us in it for you but can’t find how to send one. Nice van but not our price range or layout. Lol.
Shame about the weather and your van, I’m well jealous that looks absolutely awesome we’d love a camper but there just so expensive 😢 we nearly bought a tourer but had to downgrade to a tent back in 2019 thanks to covid 🤦♂️ Fingers crossed next year we’re hoping to buy a vw camper pop-top as there’s only 3 of us 😉 Me my partner and our little girl (5) we’re going to Eurocamp in July to Paris then to Normandie for 2weeks just a small road trip!!! But anyway keep posting it looks awesome and safe travels anytime your passing through Sheffield feel free to pop in for a tea, coffee 👌👌
Ahh your trip sounds awesome hope you all have a wonderful time, doesn’t matter what we camp in as long as we get to be outside and enjoying the weather meeting new people. You will have your camper one day too just keep looking .. thank you for being so kind and enjoy your summer xx
Hi. Your flat ceramic hob. ( Please don’t take the wrong way ) . Never take a knife to clean the hob. There is a Chef’s cleaner that is best to use , as soon as I remember I’ll tell you, another good clean for it is a Clay bar.
trying not to be rude, but did you sell up to finance this, I am thinking of doing the same as im struggling with my mental health and need a big change like this.
I love it when you upload new vids, its great to see you all doing so well. I know its RU-vid but i feel i know you even though i dont lol. As for Camp sites i would Recommend Fiely Brig Campsite The site is a bit ok, but the location is fantastic! 5 mins from the beach (steep path down) and 5 mins from the Town, and only 1 Amusement Arcade in the town, its more geared to pre teens which is perfect for your Family, Great Beach, Great for crabbing on the "Brigg" just a great place for a young Family. I did 8 summer holidays there, 7yo to the last time 15yo, i used to go out with the same fishermen every year and they took great care of me until they retired when i was 15 and i started work the following year. My mother bless her did not like been on boats but i loved it, and she just took me down to the cobble landing and found a fishing boat i could go on every day for a week lol, and every year! imagine that happening now!! No parent just handed over to the fishermen, they took great care of me and looked forward to seeing me every year! they even walked me home to whatever guesthouse we was staying in that year! Great memories, and i still have great faith and trust in people!
Thank you that’s means such a lot to us that you enjoy watching the videos too! Such lush memories for you and no couldn’t do that today could we but how lucky for you to experience that what a brilliant time it must have been. X
Sorry to hear about the weather, you might have been better coming to God’s country (Scotland). You are all amazingly upbeat and made the most of the break. Your new ride looks great, lots more space and luxury. Safe journey home, hope to see you visiting Scotland in the future.
How are you guys getting on with going from single to tag axle dose it cost you more in Europe on the toll roads ? We Enjoy your vlogs and looking at motorhomes after cancelling our caravan order.
