Funny enough I grew to really like her with how many events she appears in and how well she was actually developed as a whole. She's really a well made unsung hero that then gets an amazing f2p kit for arts looping Also I can retire miyu at the same time since she can't give aoe arts up. Fgo please buff this for miyu
I've grailed my Xu Fu to 100, I'm going to put her to 120 once I can get more copies out of the FP pool. I basically fell in love with her as soon as I saw her, when she showed up in summer horror. Before she was released, I said I would grail her to 100 if she was a servant, based on her design alone, not caring about class/skills/game-play. She then showed up as a servant like 2 days later in JP, and my 2 years of waiting begun. I love the fact she ended up a support unit, as I can basically always field her in any team, and the fact she can play nicely with Castoria and enable solo account arts looping just makes her even better.
Xu Fu is adorable, her Traum appearance sold me on her. Really glad shes a decent 3 star and since shes an Alter Ego, leveling her skills is also pretty cheap.
330 SQ for a single copy of Xu Fu. Somehow also wound up with an NP3 Arc and 2 spooks (Waver and Arjuna). I ain't complaining it's just, uh, interesting... that it happened. She's put in work though, already Bond 7, she really does make a good Castoria sub if damage isn't an issue. Still got 2000SQ and 170T for NP3-5 S. Ibuki too (let's hope she's equally as kind).
If you happen to have Summer Da Vinci and a plugsuit, their batteries add up to 50% and they have a grand total of 60% NP Gain and 40% Arts Up, along with 20% NP Damage Up, which, if you squint really, *really* tightly, sorta kinda seems like a second Castoria buff suite. If you can swing the 10% drop in Arts Up, they'll work together just as well as one half of any DCS setup.
I'm happy I can actually arts loop now. I used to not have any use for units like Zenobia, who have been just sitting in my box unleavened for a while. Now she loops her entire gague using a friend castoria and paracelsus
Xu Fu chan is so cuteee. I have been waiting for her since the last two year. And I had become the first to 120 Xu Fu in NA server! Now I'm just waiting to use her solo on the strongest foreigner. It'll be very fun to do Xu Fu solo run!
It's worth noting that if all you're looking for is Castoria Lite in the Arts loop farming sense that Paracelsus will perform better as his Arts buff is the same magnitude but he grants one ally (your looper) a 50% NP Gain Up instead of 30% spread across the whole party.
It’s not that serious, as Fino said, you also have the option of doing nothing and just letting her stay on the field. It’s not like she’s Mozart tier where you _have_ to get her out immediately. That’s more for min turns runs and such.
I think Xu Fun is perfect if you want to make F2P arts teams for more content but need some kind of Castoria support who isn’t Castoria because she deafeats the point. Between her Asclepius, and Anderson those are three really strong F2P units who can make a lot of setups work effectively. Between Hans and Xu Fu you also have an absolutely incredible group of crit supports that also provide a consistent base for healing and debuffing. Of course she’s also an amazing plugsuit option for when double Castoria isn’t enough. I’m using her with Saber Shiki and she’s honestly a godsend for an Arts servant like her who needs a little extra help looping.
Since i plan for her to stick around i gave mine mission start. Np turn 1 and buff her cards a bit. Makes a comical amount of stars Also the backstory is half the reason i like them lol
It wasn't till recently I realized what they all meant when they said this year's summer was stacked. I thought we were getting another summer kama, not another Merlin AND Skadi. I hope the summer guide will be ready early or maybe even before the event and that it helps me focus one or the other. I already have og of both, so I see the utility of a second skadi, even if I'm not confident her quick buff will be enough to help anyone actually loop. I'm less sure why I'd want a second Merlin when I already have second Merlin at home, and the immoral comp wants a damage dealer to be number three and doesn't need another staller. Even if it did, I have all of it so I can recruit a second Merlin who's a Merlin. But all the jp vids I see have a proto-Merlin, so there must be a reason I don't see.
I remember when i accidentally soloed the final ORT fight with her, most of my team died halfway through the fight but with her healing from the np and the half damage she took she just wouldn't die
I have her on my secondary FGO account at NP5. She really isn't bad for a three star. I'd almost call her a 4 star in disguise, Like Cu Chullain Lancer.
Due to Poor Xu Fu's pump and dump usage, I definitely get some mileage out of pairing her with Summer Wu. Jank? Very Yeah. But it is certainly fun to abuse multiple stacking undead power mods to see the BIG NUMBERS done by weird servants once in a while.
my np1 s.musashi and my np2 s.kama can now loop against zerkers with MLB lvl 100 BG thanks to d.castoria and a xu fu. i tried fighting kiara again with my np4 120 melusine, n used arts mode, she refunded 60% from np alone this time. Xu Fu is the real anni servant. Also why is she an alter ego? i didn't read her fgo lore yet...wasn't she a caster in traum?
Same, sounds like her skills are more important than her NP, so probably better to let the extra copies come when they will rather than actively seek them out.
For farming, she's a good substitute (relative to her rarity). You run your own Xu Fu and a Castoria off your friend list and that should keep you afloat for a while. Defensively, though, Castoria isn't replaceable. So you'll want to get one of your own at some point.
Xu Fu is most likely one of the few very strong Arts support to have around If you squint a bit harder the only difference in Xu Fu and Castoria skills are 20% Arts and NP gauge (also the ATK up but it's the least impactful on Arts looping), if she ever gets an upgrade on her S1 or S2 to fix even one of those she will literally be budget Castoria
And that is why the CCP is the current dynasty, its just a gestalt emperor. And who knew the Chinese actually had explorers. They were a far more interesting people until the Mongols took over and tried to act just like them. The Chinese were never quite the same afterwards.
Yeah I think at this point you may as end your video if you're gonna keep bringing up people koing their servants especially since looking at jp right now that is absolutely the last thing you'd ever do on any account and no one actually does despite the number of times you keep saying for certain servants
Tbf while I definitely don't like having my servants die on purpose as part of a strat, it's sometime I actually see talk about and done fairly often by fgo tubers especially. It can help with getting more buffs in earlier in a fight, especially in non plug suit comps. Plus some servants are such deadweight during their skill downtimes that it's just more worth it to kill them off after. Again I don't like doing it but it's not a bad thing to bring up
You need to get your head out of your ass. You not liking esports strats doesn't mean it's something "no one actually does". It's a perfectly valid way to cycle through your backline and I've explained the benefits several times now. All you've got is a bunch of sweeping hyperbole. Either give some substance to your claims or take your meds.
I gotta ask you, have you ever used Chen Gong? You know he takes buffs from servants and then knocks them out. That is the exact same thing. And lots of people do it. Fino is not the first person to think of killing off a servant. Back when Sherlock first came out you would see people getting NP5 level 1 copies of him just to use for hard fights, so you could take his buffs and then easily remove him from the field. Outrage as a concept exists to make a servant take a hit, a NP most likely, and get knocked out. Why not also get some benefit from their buffs at the same time? I understand you may have problems 5 slotting basic level 90 farming nodes and the thought of any form of strategy clearly hasn't entered your head, but maybe try to actually think about why someone would recommend something instead of just being pig headed about it.
