Instead of cuttin out porch for steps on other side of porch, just add concrete slab or them slab of brick pieces to cover up that dirt below the steps, many different colors shapes & sizes to chose from. Probably cheaper & easier & less messy

Hey, Torie & Travis, this is just a suggestion: you might want to move the Blackstone over to the rail fence across from where the settee is & get a couch to put where the blackstone is now. Just because the Settee will give both of you a possible cramp in your necks turning to watch the television from that angle, also it will be much easier to watch the t.v. & whatever is cooking on the grill @ the same time. Hi Torie, If your not 100% certain about having a pool in your backyard, I would suggest you doing a border flowerbed around your backyard and leave the grass in the middle for the kids to play and also for family/friends entertainment in the future.

Just get some landscape brick walkway from your steps to around the tree. No moving stuff & a quick project for a professional. We only have one TV in the family room. In Michigan we don’t have good enough weather to have one outdoors. You need a play set for the kids.

Moving the steps is a great idea. The previous step area can now be a wonderful shaded patio space. Make a seating area on patio above it.

As a grandmother I adore my 4 babies. And they get excited to see me. I ❤that. Now there are times when I do want to spend time with my husband and go on trips. I love to let my babies know that I will always love them. ❤❤❤

My kids are grown now but had a pool in the backyard, also had a summer home on the ocean front in Rye Beach NH, and 38' cabin cruiser on Lake Winnipesaukee NH. No issues with any of the kids. Just have to teach them right and take all the precautions you can. I did put them all through swim lessons.

You could put patio fake grass turf in that shady area saving yourselves alot of $$ on relocation of new stairs. 👍🏾on the outdoor ceiling fan. Since mom helped cook, save me a plate 🍽 😋 😁. Yes, Travis you should ask for help with the TV. An above ground pool if you're really gonna utilize it as a whole family and definitely a play set for the children 😊

Just a suggestion you could pour a patio in front of the steps. They can do it with a mortar machine, that way you don't have to have a cement truck come in there. Keep the videos coming I love them!

The stairs can be changed to a ramp so that you can easily go up down stairs when injured or moving items to the open area grass.

If you get a lot of mosquitoes you might want to screen in your porch. We spend a lot of time outside 3 out of 4 seasons and we screened ours in. We also screened in the pool! Lol from NC

Breeze hair looks super cute luving it. I too would put concrete slabs below the steps that will stoop it being muddy. Travis great idea having those security cameras especially when the kids are playing outside have to keep an eye on them at all times. Plus now you have a TV outside too in case anyone tries to take it.

Travis, please consider this first! Make a paver walkway patio in front of the the steps and beyond that will go around the tree. It may cost less money, and will give you more curb appeal. Also, put a tree swing in the tree for the kids. Just a thought!❤❤

Don’t remove your steps. This would be a great place to put in a paver patio that would run the length of the porch. Incorporate the tree. This would give you another level for enjoyment and you can even install aa electric fire pit in the future. The paver patio could be installed timely and would be less expensive than removing your stairs. The stairs are even wide enough to add some potted plants leading out to the patio.

Hello Travis and Tori, A swing set or swing set with a slide is a good idea, for the backyard. The two little ones would probably love it. You might still have room for a pool if you want one.

@Travis and Torie get a pool with an fence with a lock. I live in Houston in a gated community. Almost every house has a pool. There is no such thing that the yard is too small. A good pool builder can wrap a pool around that beautiful tree, making it quite large. I lived in Las Vegas with a small yard. We managed to have a nice sized pool an outdoor kitchen and a grassy yard. So, I say go for it! ❤️ from Houston

Pour some ballast or soft sand stones at the end of the stairs to prevent mud rather than changing stairs.

Yes to the hot tub lol We have the sides of the house nice like a raised garden Where our bedroom looks out is the kids side play ground seating area Tramplinthe other side is our bench gonna get my husband to make some chairs out of wood also amazon has medium bowl like fire pits so beautiful around the adult section When we got our house built we didn’t want the open fense like yall for privacy reasons so we got a lot where we would have a fat backyard and we didn’t pay for the grass so we are able to plan so we didn’t have to worry about rotting out the grass when it came to the play ground and trampoline raised flower beds we’re gonna go to Home Depot and I want a olive tree I LOVE them I’m grateful we don’t have a tree already that way we can pick our own and when u have kids and done with the play ground u can get rid of it and add grass also there a lot of chemicals in the sod and. Seeds u can lay so we had and have more time to see what we’re laying down because our kids play back there my husband extended the deck because we Bar B Que crazy yall actually one of the RU-vidrs to put me on to the griddle Academy has so much with black stone bro 😩😩I can’t I wish I knew y’all because I have to much to say yall pimp yall yard out it’s so beautiful turn it into a lives in yard and please don’t rock it down a lot of ppl are doing that and it’s like what a waste pools we go to my parents but I do want a hot tub I’m Texas born and raised I love the heat and it’s also something u can put up it’s not for ever there but academy has something for kids and families u can blow up in the backyard it has slides stairs it’s like a moon bounce house but summer I love it because as long as u put it up u won’t damage ur grass but we also have the pool in the community so it’s cool if u feel like leaving ur house lol we doing our best to make our home to our sanctuary yall also put me on to the playroom because we have a 2 story which you know comes with 2 living room the one upstairs is like a game room and a play room does wonders bro
