Andrew - Our local farmer is selling a "salsa basket" for $4 or $6. It contains all the ingredients tomatos, jalapenos, onions, etc. Please let the girls know in case it's something that may be popular in your store. Thanks for the great video!
We have a lot of farm land in Ontario but I’ve never seen a farm with such a diverse planting of crops. Love watching you guys harvest! Looks like hard work but I love that you always do it with a smile.
Seeing Daniel splayed out over a pallet of bags of potatoes was hilarious! You guys make the best videos. Glad to hear you got all those tomatoes picked before a big rain came your way! I am truly grateful for these last few weeks of the full picking season. I'm going to miss the picking videos as the plants finish up and fall moves in. It's going to be interesting seeing how long the growing season will be before the frost moves in.
I just went tomato picking & pepper picking at my local farm last week. Andrew, thank you for sharing tips on the proper picking stance. It really helped a ton. Happy harvesting

It was wonderful to see the main house table again as well as your new place with your MIL in town and cooking for your family. Hope the fields and your family faired well with the storms and the holiday weekend!
I would love to hear about the different types of bugs and pests on the different types of produce that you have to deal with on the farm. Warm climate versus cold with types of bugs/pests. Thank you for these wonderfully informative videos. It’s a highlight of my day. Happy picking 🤩
Andrew, a while back you said smoke from Canada was not good for your crops. Well, simply put, that was wrong. When we get smokey air up here (in Canada), our crops almost always are better. Crops (all plants) take in CO2 and give off oxygen. Higher CO2 (as a greenhouse operator you should know this) produces higher yields. All the climate people don't talk about this, but it's a fact!😊
I love to view the fruits of my labor (no pun intended😜). I have three raised beds and 3 half whiskey barrels. Each whiskey barrel holds two tomato plants, so six plants. Strawberries have been prolific in another raised bed. One raised bed is herbs. Another was 6 pepper plants. I have harvested three times on the peppers. They flowered again, and I saw one nub of pepper starting. If the weather holds, I may get a fourth harvest. I did home canning all day Wednesday from our local market. My tomatoes are absolutely excellent. I bought Mater Meal, or something like that, to help the plant push fruit, not foliage. However, the plants are lush, but that’s good because the branches are LADEN. I may be canning the maters I produce! I have always had problems with blossom end rot, cracks and splitting, misshapes, and tiny fruits, but this year I finally have it figured out. Better soil (miracle grow garden soil). Less water (I thought more was better-who knew?). And my very expensive solution? A solution of Mater Meal. I spent $40 on food for my plants’ fruits. It’s a bit of nitrogen, then calcium, potassium, magnesium, manganese, copper, and more. My tomatoes are the best I have ever grown. Expensive but excellent.
We made it through Idalia! 85 mph gusts stayed high off the ground and the garden is looking just fine. Now if I can get Princess 🐄 to stay off my Wild Everglades tomatoes, all will be well 😂 I love it when y'all fill up the wagon..they make the prettiest picture. And btw, Grampa is a SAVAGE! He knows how to get er done 😊
Oh yea, tomato, tomato, tomatoes.....love it. By the way, this year I am growing some Italian peppers and cherry ones too. After watching your past videos, I thought I would give them varieties a go. Cheers, awesome family! Great video, Andrew.
It was such a great Saturday treat to see a new Veggie Boys video today! : ) Watching your videos is an addiction I welcome! Lol Thanks for the fix! : )
What do most people do with the hot cherry peppers? Do you just chop them and put them in things like salsa? We don’t really grow those in TN, but I do have a pepper addiction, so convince me I need them in my garden. LOL
Picking tomatoes never gets boring because its like hunting for bright red treasure all over. its not as monotonous since your looking hunting for them under the leaves and such.
So sad.. I live in a corn farming town and this is the final week for all the local roadside stands and farmers markets for the season... yesterday I bought 3 dozen ears to freeze for winter treats . corn season ends too soon. I love watching your farm at work,, your father is a legend.
Callie is so adorable. I love the new house. Love the cherry pepper picking. I just love the crisp strapping sound it makes when you pull them off the vine.
My grandmother and my aunt really liked Roma. When I was in junior high I bought some by mistake. Some one must have put the wrong marking for it said they were big boy, which is what I wanted. But of course I found it they were not. My grandmother loved. Not as cooking or canning, but for fresh use. In Zambia where I send seeds for a church work they also loved the Roma type. I always send open pollination types as they are more affordable.
they do a few at the farmer's market in Clinton pa, as well as many other family events. One of my favorites is the hay ride pulled with a large tractor taking a tour around all the plantings.

I do have to say I looked your harvesting machinery. They aren't high tech not complicated how they work. They are simple and sort the produce from the plant what is mind blowing at times x
Kiddo is getting big, she's getting her vocab nailed down! Those peppers look amazing, my Tobasco, Chilli peppers, Jalapenos and Serranos are doing great too. Just looking at them makes me think I might have to try Hot Cherry peppers next time :) Now, what to do with all these peppers!?!
