On flop he has the worlds easiest 3 bet with bottom set against FOUR players in a huge pot on a board with a million draws, but is scared someone flopped set over set. On turn he flats a 1/4 pot bet still 4 ways. Checks back one of the best possible rivers when there's no way anyone could have him beat given action. ... "I'm like the thinnest value better ever" LOL

My goodness I love this game! Even if he chooses to flat the flop to get some info, by the turn it's a clear value raise. No major strength being shown and KJ and J8 (wierd hands to call flop) are the only hands that get there, and he's drawing live even against those. Meanwhile QJ, JJ 10-9 would probably call a raise.. By the river it's too late to get a ton of value QJ and JJ won't feel very good about a hand that showed strength on 3 streets. I would've jammed turn

Playing small pairs is just not profitable if you’re going to pot control when you hit a set.

Lol. I love how this guy says the jacks played bad, bit he played his set equally bad if not worse. 😂

If he had JJ he coulda have TT and 99. But at this lvl home game its clear reraise on flop. Bad play by caller

Absolute slam dunk 3 bet on the flop. Get rid of anyone with a straight draw and put pairs under pressure. Sounds like the hero fell into the trap of 'oh, I have a good hand - someone must have a better hand' - when you flop a set, you gotta go for value!

The big blind did play his JJ pretty terribly to be fair. Calling a hijack raise preflop and letting it go 5 ways is awful. Then cold calls a check raise from the small blind, which also gets called by 3 other players. And then leads out the turn when a queen comes, which means he’s now behind QJ, the most obvious draw.

In general, it seems better to fast play bottom set here, he probably stacks everyone lol. At the minimum, gets more money in the pot.

i think the problem here, that he was rightly nervous about, was the number of players that saw the flop...but he should have re-raised anyways on the flop..a set is a set~

"I'm the thinnest value bettor ever" The way you played this hand, I doubt you're even a competent value bettor.

Agree.... The only thin value this hack is betting with is the stone cold nutz.

I would love to see a graphic like they do on Live at the Bike, where they have a box that lists the action of each street while the hand is playing out.

These hands are analyzed to death. You cant remember the action from the flop after Bart talked about it for 5 minutes?

What a juicy sounding game this is. The caller couldn't have possibly played this hand worse or missed out on more value unless he'd outright folded, yet he still makes about $1800 flopping bottom set here....And LOL to this guy claiming to be the the thinnest value bettor ever and then taking such a nitty line which includes knuckling the table on a brick river when action is checked around to him.

I flop a set maybe once or twice in a session. You better believe I’m check raising or raising a flop like that as well as making any kind of bet I can to get more value. Probably left 1-2k on the table here

I struggle with this because many players at low to mid stakes aren’t thinking like this and just call with middle pair no kicker

Before I hear the hands, J 10 suited or off sounds like a hand some one could have.

This is like a REQUIRED 3 bet. Maybe fold to a shove if you get jammed on, but bottom set in a 4 way pot on a draw heavy board? Get the money in.

I feel if you play this way when you flop a set then folding 55 is optimal. Some of the tightest OMCs like some daytime regs at Caesars vegas will play sets in this ridiculous manner. Comical

Flop is a 100% 3 bet, his hand goes down in ev on most turns. Either he will no longer have the best hand or he loses action.

If the board is AKQJT rainbow and you bet, villain should easily fold because you never show up with any bluffs.

Set-mining nit flops set and then levels himself into pot controlling because he fears higher set after he says higher set is not even in their ranges.
