This was so, so emotional. That ending is heartbreaking 😭 Rengoku was so close to defeating Upper Three Kizuki, and he kept trying until the very end... This movie is so poignant and touching. 10 out of 10! ❤

Even rengoku's death is enough to make a grown man cry😢 its been 2 years since i watched the movie and yet rengoku is still in my heart always 😢 set your heart ablaze!

Funfact: Demon slayer: Infinity( Mugen) Train movie is the highest grossing anime movie of all time with more than $507 million earning. Its also the 2nd highest grossing movie of 2020( covid times) beating movies like Tenet etc.

rengoku went out like a true hero. to answer your question on if he’s the strongest, he wasn’t the strongest, and although people like to argue about power rankings rengoku isn’t usually considered one of the top 5 strongest. he’ll always hold a special place in my heart for his positivity and bravery.

Great reaction, watched the film in theaters last week since for some reason that’s when it came out in my country. The ending is so hard to watch.

It was indeed very frustrating, not to mention a rude shock to the trio when rengoku died. To put into perspective, it was only a few months back (according to demon slayer chronology) that they faced off a Lower Moon demon, that spider family. It took everything the gang had just to stay alive, let alone defeat that Lower Moon. And then poof… Giyu literally walked up to the Spider demon n one-shot him. This was the display of power level for Tanjiro (and the audience) to witness, as to how powerful a Hashira is compared to a “normal” demon slayer like tanjiro… And with Rengoku’s death at the hands of Akaza, it showed how obscenely powerful an UPPER moon demon is compared to even a hashira. And akaza was toying with Rengoku. This really hit how different in terms of power levels they are between an Upper Moon and Tanjiro’s gang. Tanjiro’s gang is exceptional, but theyre NOT at the level of a hashira. “Grit your teeth, n keep going forward” “I believe in you all” The last words of a dying hashira. It really meant alot for them.

I love the movie. And great reaction as well. The thing is tho to correct at the end a bit Rengoku is around the 3rd 4th weakest Hashira. But Akaza is alone stronger then the strongest Hashira. So sadly Rengoku never really had a chance. Akaza can fight multiple Hashiras at once. Sorry for going into details..
