Audrey - wow! What an amazing, loving, compassionate child! The love she has for her great-grandma is so pure and heartfelt. She looks at taking care of great-grandma as a privilege, not an obligation. I am so impressed with the young lady Audrey is becoming! Not to take anything away from your other children because they seem well rounded and loving as well. God bless you all.

@@sallyhudson7196 why so negative on such a positive role that Audrey is doing? I am sure she is astute enough to know the circle of life! My parents moved in with us and we cared for them including my at the time 9 year old son. My Dad passed in our house and we all took great comfort in knowing he was with us and my son got valuable time with his Grandad. Not once did anyone blame themselves for his passing it was just his time and I know we did everything we could to make his life easier. I have no doubt the whole situation would have been discussed with Audrey at great length and they would not put her in a position that they feel she could not handle. Looking after someone is a hard but extremely rewarding experience and takes special people to put themselves forward to do it. I hope she looks back on this time when she is much older with great fondness knowing the help and support she gave her Great Grandma she’s one of those special people who cares ❤️

Hey, as a teacher myself, screen this stuff. It might be biased, right wing stuff. Make sure kids learn to think for themselves. One thing about home school is kids are not exposed to different points of view, and may not be ready for a University level of ed.
@eyestoseeearstohear9030
@eyestoseeearstohear9030 2 года назад
Many public schools are biased, left wing, and most universities too. I agree, kids need to learn to think for themselves, but in public school if a kid holds conservative views/values they aren't always treated fairly either. Goes both ways.

Affordable housing sounds so wonderful even maybe elder housing. One thing that makes a place liveable is being able to enjoy the outdoors gardens, walking, biking paths would make the area very pleasant and liveable even it was just a block or two. Very excited for you folks. I have home schooled one of grand children for the last couple years and very interested in the curriculum u are using for your children.

Oh boy ! A new video for the weekend! We homeschooled both of our kids . Our oldest (without college) was a senior systems administrator for the Supreme Court of California- and RETIRED at 30 with full benefits . Our younger daughter decided she wanted to attend public high school/- then graduated and went to college. She graduated with 2 degrees , and took her junior year in China. In Mandarin. She a consultant for a large computer consulting firm. You’re a favorite of our family.

I used the same program with my son and it was great. I was intimated at first because I only graduated from High school. It was better than I could imagine. He was only in the program for 2 1/2 yrs because we moved to an area with a better school system. He is now 36 yrs old. My niece that was completely her nursing degree could not believe what he had learned compared to her what she just learned from nursing school. If you can stay home and especially now,, DO IT!!

I love the hair !!! Talking about school... my oldest son is 36 yrs and my youngest is 33 yrs old.. it’s been a good minute lol I’ve learned in life a person needs both serious and fun times. Time flies and I got old really fast. My life revolved around working and my children. When they grew up and out of the house everything went into my work. Time past me by and I learned that I wasn’t happy and I was already old. Now my goals are on what makes me happy and spending as much time as we can in Alaska.

I home schooled my girls from preschool through 9th grade with ABeka. I loved it and would have continued but circumstances out of my control prevented continuing it. Every ABeka book and work book presents the Gospel from the beginning to the end. It is a solid curriculum based on a foundational approach. It is the exact opposite of the common core curriculum found in public schools. I would use ABeka again without any question. I did not use the DVD’s or online classes. I bought the teachers books and lesson plans. It was such a great program. It is easier to buy the entire grade kit that is complete.

Me at my age??? Im very extroverted and my kids ie one of them is very introverted! My Grandson is very introverted BUT my grand daughter Kaylee is very extroverted like her Dad!!! Kaylee and I team very well together and when she came home from going to school today she ran over to me and said goodness I missed you!!! I told her I missed you too! She hugged me for what seemed like hours and she is the ONLY person in the house who has told me I am loved and is hugged and cares about me! She treasures her schooling and has moved from CA to CO to ILL to FLA and feels like she has missed out on some of her childhood but DAD works full time at United Airlines so he gets moved every two 1/2 yrs! Hopefully this is the last move! I AM Retired from the Schools in CA where I had worked since uh tell you later (hmmmmmm) ! Love hearing about the kids and how well yours are doing in homeschool and the love they have for their grand parents!

My oldest grandson went thru his high school with the Abeka program. He and his younger brother were in public schools until their younger 10 year old brother was killed at a motorcycle race (our family were and are professional motorcyle racers).. The oldest was too over whelmed with the high school experience after that so we signed up with the Abeka program. He did so well and our family and him were very pleased with the 4 years of his enrollment. We truly believe his education was far superior to his brother's public schooling (both being accredited!) Highly recommend the Abeka Academy programs..

I prefer natural hair and no makeup, but I understand that people will do what they choose. If we love someone, we should also ask them what makes them feel attracted to that person. Sometimes our ideas of ourselves are shaped by what makes us feel attractive, and we can become caught up in the world of things. When Esther sought advice regarding how to dress and behave before the king, the other women chose to please themselves; as a result, Esther married the king and gained half of the kingdom. So, in many ways, how we treat our spouses is how we treat and please God.
