OOF that's actually disappointing. It's just bad consumer relations to announce "Starlight will now give Legendaries" only to follow it up a week later with an obviously less desirable version of that. They suck the wind out their own hype leaving only disappointment.
I would disagree. Now it will be much easier to get duplicate legendaries I would assume. And a good Legendary artifact is worth more then a lot of legendary champions.
So we are collecting Stardice for no reason. That 0,2% its bad and now they are telling the playerbase that the legendary hero pull gonna be a BS HORN 2.0. joke...
I like it as the pool of possible legendaries is very limited and thus, offers a big chance of pulling dupes to turn into artefacts. As an F2P this is my biggest issue, I have not been able to get 1 dupe since launch day, and I am falling way behind on Season 3
That's exactly what I expected. And if they will rotate hero pool each 1-2 seasons that's actually better then some medium sized pool. If they don't ... well, we'll start using our I5 mushroom guy at some point lol.
Finally someone who understands it! It's a small step that can be easily Adjusted! Instead of going all out they can do further changes to the hero pool...
This is terrible. It is probably the straw that broke the camel's back for me and I'm probably done with this game. There's just not enough interesting content and no meaningful way to get heroes outside of spending, and no meaningful way to test different heroes and comps without being severely punished by investing in the wrong hero. And honestly, who cares if you get 5-6 legendary artifacts? They are way too expensive. Even as a big spender, you have to spend even more to get dust for artifacts. This game is approaching a year old and I thought this would be a big splash to get people excited about it again but instead it's been a big dud.
@@GoraxThe amount of Starlights is limited as well. Its maybe 700 v.s. 168 attempts but that doesn't say anything if we don't know the probability for the Horn. Horn is hard to judge as i've seen values ranging from 0 to 7 for received legendaries. Looking at potential distributions the frequency of seeing zeros point at the horn being worse but not that much and there is the issue that players posting about not having a single one is more likely than players showing that they were super lucky with the horn. Important for me is that Starlights shares the same issues as the Horn: low probability, no pity, limited pool of heroes (that its the same as the horn even make it worse). Just a somewhat better chance doesn't make the system better.
This might be just a beginning and they might rotate the hero pool in the future seasons. Limited pool gives you bigger chance of getting dupe = legendary artifact.
While it's less "exciting" to know which leggos you'll get, it's REALLY good for F2P and even decent for low spenders who don't have many dupes like myself.
I new it probably wouldn't be any good ones anyway with a 0.2 chance but I'm not mad as a f2p player only took me 2 seasons to get witches remains so won't be mad for dupes even though I was hoping for flora at least lol
That is amazing news, I only miss Sagomir from that pool, and S3 will start in a few days on my server. I hope I will be able to finally get a dupe am so pumped now
I like it. I only pulled Hochardir from the Horn. And considering Starlight is pretty easy to get, I would assume I will get at least one more until the end of the season. Still no info on mercy?
@@Gorax Well, I hope that they put it at 500. Otherwise, rng is gonna ruin someones desire to play the game. Imagine opening over 1000 purple dices and you get no legendaries....
Well that is a TOTAL FAIL... I hope that changes cuz that is a big fat L in the loser collum for the game if those are the only limited legos in the pool....
The comments in here are ridiculous. They might as well have not bothered with doing anything the way this community is reacting. I'm personally looking forward to a better chance to get legendary artifacts. One per season would definitely be cool with me.
@@Gorax I suspect getting legendary off the horn is 0.2% as well, so they just extended it to starlight, which IS A joke. Personally in 2 full seasons I got only one epic off horn, zero legos. So thanks for nothing, developers.
That is really good for f2p. This is a decent way to get artifacts. Artifacts are essential and often most important than legendaries. Non-f2p will be disappointed though.
This is exactly what is happening, I can see the split being close 50-50 when it comes to disappointed and happy comments, more towards the disappointed side tho
Many people complain the limited lego and low chance, but then when the tutorial for chaos boss and otherwold came, these hypocrite say ftp doesnt have legendary artifact, ftp doesnt have witch remain. how ironic
People always complain. There is a saying " Give am a finger they will try and take the whole hand" or something like that. I like the change as it is positive change, that will benefit all of us as currently we have 0% chance. People wanted % to pull legendary hero, they wanted easier way of obtaining legendary artifacts, while this is not the best it is here to help. But people will always want more.
