The merch I understand their play on that, it can be a good way to make money. I didn't care for any of the designs, especially at the price so I never got anything. Thought the golf tournament was a good idea at first, but understanding it's just a management company that is putting it on wasn't attractive, and again...the price. Then the Breezy Bar. Seriously? Downtown Manhattan, that industry has business margins that are RAZOR thin. It just didn't speak to it's fans. And now this. This is just complete lack of awareness. As I put in other threads coming from brewing I was wondering how they contracted this with the company to brew/ distill it usually that gets very pricey if it's not big name or safe bet. Since I cant seem to find this company under anyone's umbrella even though id heard the name before but am unfamiliar with products. I'm beginning to wonder if this is a rebranding thing by them and just slapping bds on a product they already normally made if so that would make this way way worse.

Agreed as someone who has brewed large scale beer for years and gone through having to implement and then kill off brews it has to fit into its niche at the right price point or else it'll die usually a slow death. Though I will defend them on the initial price a little because contract brewing on a smaller scale can be very very expensive even getting a brewery that contracts or Corp to take a shot on an unknown can be hard to fit into scheduling with guaranteed brands sometimes.

They didn’t sell out. Well, they didn’t sell out of beverages anyway. This is obviously damage control. Take away the buying opportunity so the price “disappears” and this problem goes away for a while. Then “re-stock” and allow ordering again at a substantially reduced cost to the consumer. The “Sold Out” is a marketing ploy. It creates a fear of missing out phenomenon so when they hit the market again at $50-$55 a case, you won’t hesitate to order before they “sell out” again. It’s pretty smart on their end. They’ll never admit they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar. This is obviously the play for them. Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles can see this clearly.
