I am so very sorry for your loss of your grandma, my grandmother as well was a large gardener. I actually have irises in my garden that she had in her garden and they multiplies so I have given them to all of my neighbors and wherever we lived across the United States. Though her physical presence is no longer here, her flowers flourish all over Dublin Ohio. 🎉

Condolences, Carissa, getting back to your garden is a healing way to remember your grandmother and her love of gardening. I think every member of the Foggies was glad to back together again. My condolences Carissa. Tomatoes are fairly hardy plants. I've accidentally abused mine and they've survived despite my ignorance, hail storms, 85mph wind storms, and whatever nature has decided to throw at it. I'm glad you're both home safe and sound. Enjoy the garden and figure out how to avoid the heat! It's boiling hot around here and I'm playing hermit until the heat breaks.
Hi Carrisa!❤ Just pausing at the giant sunflowers, for a fyi, everywhere you grow sunflowers, it does something to the soil where you can't plant anything in the land where they root, kind of like the black walnut affect. Or any walnut. Might be helpful to boldly mark where ssunflowers grow, and only plant sunflowers there.

We host the V8 cars here in Adelaide - Australia at least once a year!! It's a huge party more than anything!! So we are kind of used to these "loud noises" that you speak of!! LOL!!

It sounds like a huge relief to be back home after being away for two weeks. I would have stayed back with the dogs at the car race because I’m not a fan of crowds and noise either. Sad to hear about your grandma Carissa - you have inherited her green fingers. The grapes look more like dried raisins but probably not as tasty. Sad that there will be no wine this year. Iwan, you were lucky to go to Spa in Belgium. I used to be a huge fan but I am not keen on the hairdryers they drive now but I love the sound of the historic cars.

We are on a 3 month tour in our campervan right now and it started back on 26Jun when our friends who are Marshalls invited us to spend 5 days with them at Spa Francorchamps for the 100th Edition 24hr Spa. It was absolutely amazing and our campervan was situated at a fantastic place to sit and watch. Loved every minute of it and feel very honoured to have been invited. Glad you enjoyed your trip there. You may want to double dig any other veg beds. Or bustard trench. The only time my dad would let me swear openly was this gardening term. Even Mr Titchmarsh said it once on TV. For me the two hour trip out to my Summer place near the Pacific Coast (from my pedestrian existance in a Seattle ‘hood) seems interminable - but I totally resist the US’ car culture. Gardeners garden ❤

I was watching a channel on RU-vid recently and tree diapers came up 😁 this watering method 😢might work in Portugal during the harsh summer months and preserve waters as I suppose it doesn't just evaporate and water gets slow released where its needed.😮 Love your gentle videos 😁🐈🙏🇬🇧🌻

Your videos are so peaceful. Your garden is doing so well. The best corn I have seen on any Utube. Does any water in your hoses get so hot it kills some plants if you don’t let it run to cool water before putting it on the plants? I enjoyed the race video. As close as I will ever get to it.
