We Left The SDA Church?? | Our Truth 

Raised a Catholic & active in that church, I have found the SDA Church after studying several doctrines because I was looking for a purely Bible-based teaching. But left it bec I was looking at the people & their flaws. Later on, I went back to the church bec I realized, Jesus' faith was tthe reason why I joined this church & not bec of the people. Just happy to find a church group now which I feel like a second family to us. I would never be somewhere else & praying & striving to be part of the remnant church whom Jesus will bring home with Him when He comes back.

I was raised a Catholic. I met my girlfriend (now wife) and she invited me to her church(SDA). Honestly I just went to hangout with her. No interest in listening to what was preached. But, I picked up on a few truths every time I would go to church with her. Eventually I listened and they were teaching the entirety of the Bible. Now I am a Seventh Day Adventist and I am proud to say it. Praise God. He surely works in mysterious ways. Sorry you guys went through that, but we must put our focus on Jesus. For he is the way, the truth and the life.

I would like to say that this happens in all churches. I used to go to a Sunday church. But now I go to the seventh day adventist church because God said Remember rhe Sabbath day and to keep it Holy.

I was also left a church and now I am an Adventist Church member. And I'm very happy in this church because I don't look to any person but only Bible. Pastor can make mistakes layman can make mistakes but Bible always right. Those who look people they only can leave SDA CHURCH. I'm a lucky person because I am a part of this SDA church.

I am Adventist too. One Adventist minister said: “Go where you are fed.” He is right. I can associate with many of your sentiments. If we have to make adjustments we just have to be careful not to leave Christ. Stay strong.

Being an Adventist myself, what I can say is that, No one will let me leave church. If God told you to leave, then I can say God is leading. But I don't recall you guys mentioned God was apart of the decision. It doesn't matter which church you go to, you will never find perfection. I agree, you have to go where God is present, but he has to be the one who is leading that. Also, it wasn't clear if you guys left the Adventist faith or what, so this is just an unfinished video that I wish was a bit more clearer. A bit confusing, especially when you said, "we would go to a different faith, as long as God is there". I wish there was more clarity. Additionally, I wish you guys all the best in your decision making, and hope that you will put God first in whatever you do.

20+ years in SDA and i can surely say that this is the most judgemental denomination you'll ever meet, we're still stuck in the old law, everything is a sin, from taking tea, eating meat, ladies wearing pants, until one time i felt like leaving, but after quite sometime, i just realized that what matters is me and Christ. Am still waiting for the 2nd return of my saviour in here.

As a born again Cbristian who happens to be a SDA. I just want to say I'm sorry on behalf of those ppl who hurt you and experiences you went through, and I do want to say, even if i'm the only SDA in the world, that I love you and know God loves you even MORER! I will keep you in my prayers and pray that the Lord will lead and guide in the paths of righteousness!

I'm so sorry that this has been your experience, I've had similar experiences, but brethren we have to keep our eyes focused on God. I returned to church when I was 24 and was baptized at 25, there were many breaking points where I felt like I wanted to leave but I prayed for strength and courage. Yes, people in the SDA church are not nice, I've seen hypocrisy, favoritism, nepotism etc but we have to pray and ask God for the patience and the courage to remain faithful to Him. Noone is perfect and God is working on each and everyone of us in various degrees and perhaps some who are in the church have not surrendered fully to Him, but who am I to judge because I am a sinner myself. I say all this to say, the church is made up of imperfect people but don't allow them nor the situations that happened in church become the breaking point for you to leave. Praying for you and your family. 🤗

I see your concerns and understand how you feel. I used to go to an Adventist church and the legalities and unfriendliness of members left me feeling sad. I became an Adventist because of God’s leading. My relationships with God led me to leave that specific congregation but not the SDA church. I am sure that wherever we go there are people who wants to dictate what and who we do. Also there are those who are control freaks. However remember the reason you came to the SDA church, your reason to come will determine whether you leave or stay. Just remember that Jesus went to the synagogue with the scribes and Pharisees, Jesus Himself called them hypocrites, but he still went to church because there were those who wanted what Christ have to offer. Let the wheat and tears grow until the day of harvest. Friends there are beautiful SDA congregation everywhere. Christ grew up going to the synagogue on the sabbath, it was His custom and He did it as example to us so he continued going though they were hypocrites. May you find a congregation that you are comfortable in but just remember there are no perfect congregation. Blessings.

I am also a Seventhday Adventist. I have been away from the CHURCH for number of years. Now have returned. I feel that GOD dwells in all of us in defferent ways. The message is still the same, we have to be grounded in our SPIRIT to overcome the our difference. I have gone to other Churches over the the years.. but , felt empty. I know that it is difficult to you now. I pray that you will find GOD within yourself. But keep praying.

As children my siblings and I had two religions.. as we got older we decided to stay with the SDA faith... we attended with our grand mother. Our mother was eventually converted. One thing I‘ve learned is that the SDA teachings are forever with us regardless to where we go or change our faith. You may be surprised at how many other religions incorporate the teachings in their sermons.. Also the read and study all the Ellen G. White books.. as adults we learn that there is one God and it really should come down to our personal relationship with him... not a religion or the people in it...

I was head deacon of an Adventist church in the late 90s. The assistant head deacon lied to the nominating committee the next year and never talked to me about anything. I quietly went to another SDA church because I won't let sinners like myself get in the way of my relationship with God.

I empathize with your situation. I'm sorry you guys experienced this. Maybe a smaller congregation will meet your needs or even a prayer cell with other families at someone's home. Something we often forget is that Church = the members, not the pews... That is, real people with real needs. Stay faithful guys and I'm praying for you.

Your testimony is true, as Seventh Day Adventist, has become cold, we have forgotten to be our brothers keeper, I had that experience and however I am still there, because as I said it’s better being a thousand times in the atrious of God than being out. Satan in his last days is pushing us to move out, as we have to remember the sick people are in the church that’s why I go to the doctor because we are sick. I was hestitant about watching this video, but after listening to this, I'm glad that you felt the same way as me. I am one of those 'former' members of the SDA church that got burned. My family and I have experienced many crushing experiences (including my brothers being introduced to drugs in the church). I was heavily involved in the church, my whole life. I participated in Pathfinders, music, and even helped with community work and cleaning the church. I have previously attended the church over the years and even the loving members have left the church sadly. I have attended an SDA church my whole life and honestly felt like I had to meet 'expectations' to feel like I matter. For the first time, I've never felt more free to know that I have a divine right to know who God is for myself. For that reason, I have left the SDA church, but not the belief. I know deep down inside I'm still a believer, and I've decided to explore this season/ chapter of my life to know more about God, and have my relationship with God. Thanks for sharing your video. Hi Adriel and Kevah, as a pastor on behalf of that SDA congregation I want to apologize for failing you, not being a gracious place in which your family could live and grow in Christ. It is inspiring to see a loving and real Christian family walking the path as narrow as it may be. I'll say a prayer that God leads you to a strong community of faith. Question: are you saying that you are indefinitely leaving the SDA community as a believing community or just that local congregation? I wasn't quite clear on that since Adriel you clarified that SDA fundamental beliefs continue to be what you believe.

I can understand completely. I was reared as SDA. We are following a lot of man made traditions and beliefs. We are made to be judgemental and feel shame. The church most definitely has its flaws. We must be led by the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, all churches are have their share of problems. You definitely have to do what the Holy Spirit leads you to do. Thank you for sharing your story. Secondly I must commend you both on your honesty and courage, this would not have been an easy decision for you to make. Voicing our experiences concerning our churches is very important darling because without it, things cannot be addressed and improvements cannot be made. I noticed that this video is mostly about a particular SDA church and wonder whether your decision to leave the denomination has also been influenced by experiences outside of this particular church? I do, however fully appreciate your comments regarding man made traditions v what Jesus said and did. This has been a topic which has been up for discussion time and time again, mostly raised by our youth. It is very disappointing that you have had such an experience in this church in spite of your attempts to address problems with the leadership. I understand why you eventually left. There are others who are in similar positions who would appreciate the content of your video. I will pray that God will lead you to where he needs you to be, to do what he plans for you to do. When we focus on other people than we do to Jesus, we can move from one church to another blaming the church itself. Instead of running away, why can't we be the change that we need to see. Change starts with you!

Im not born adventist but i was baptised when i was 9 years old, but now im backslider but i never leaved SDA because this church showed me that GOD IS TRUE. GOD is there with us all the time, when you feel alone just pray and you feel GOD is there for you.

Church is having a genuine, close relationship with our heavenly Father. And he is looking for people like you who genuinely and truly love Him and wanted a relationship with Him and His Son. God doesn't live in temples or buildings of mortar. Keep out all the noise and truly listen to Him and He will speak to your hearts, only you can hear. May our loving God bless yous

I truly appreciate your concerns, I am disappointed that you had such an unpleasant experience with the church I'm a SDA for about 40 years and yes we have faults I can identify with some of your concerns but when I examined Christianity, SDA teaching and doctrines are biblical, continuing to study and pray God sees your needs Smaller congregation maybe better for you ,God's richest blessings

This is 💯! We have the same testimony. We've been members of an SDA church for over 10 years. We transferred our membership to another conference because of the same exact things. As a Seventh-day Adventist, I noticed that we preach heavy on the evils that happen in Catholicism and other houses of worship. For some reason, we can not preach on the evils that happen in our own house. When the bible clearly says that judgment begins in the house of God. Keep your focused on Christ! It just sounds like he's moving you to greener pastures. Since we left, God has opened new doors that we could not imagine. We led out in bible studies every Friday night with young college adults, and because of it, we baptized a young lady. You see, the laymen are to finish the work! We'll keep you in our prayers! ❤️

However, I got pregnant and decided to take my son to sabbath school. I’ve been back to church now for 16 years and let me tell you it’s been challenging. I’ve been ‘burned’ actually just recently and it’s been hard to continue to attend church weekly. BUT GOD! I understand removing yourself from an unrighteousness setting if that’s what you experienced. So what I heard was you dismembered yourselves from that particular SDA church but not from God’s presence. I pray that you all find that resting place with the Lord’s presence during worship. I just got baptised last month by the power of the Holy Spirit into this church. With that power of the Holy Spirit, it totally changes everything for me. I right away stop gambling throw away my jewelry give up food that I used to love in a very way I cannot explain. I'm still learning and at the same time amazed by what and how God and His Holy Spirit works in our individual lives. I'm sorry for your experience, but I truly found this church for a reason, it change me to walk forward and never look back. God's timing always perfect. Hello, I don't quite know how to feel about this situation. I too left the SDA church, I have family members that are still going , I have told them that if the have a need to go to heaven they need to stop going but I now understand why they are still going. I thought that I was going insane when my diagnosis came in as chronic after suffering for so many years. To my surprise my church members crucified me and so did some of my family members. This is just a bit of my personal experience with the church, god made me realize that not all members of the church are at the same level of faith, spiritual understand, and conscience with you. It's been years, I just continue listening to the holy spirit and doing God's will as I still believe that the seventh day is the sabbath of the lord thy God. Didn't know anyone felt the same. Now am living by faith which have yet to disappoint me....blessings

Am born Adventist and I have seen challenges that have led many of our brethren leave the church and mostly those who take the church to be theirs but all in all we need prayers and I think we need to talk about our discipline without fear because God will not take those who are perfect but those who trust him, thank you

My husband was raised catholic and he never knew nothing about the holy bible until I introduce him to the Bible and tell him to read it , then I ask him what he think now about becoming a Seven Day Adventist? He then look at me and said thank you for helping me to see and read what he never did before in the Bible.I can’t and will never leave Seven Day Adventist church. Ever even if I don’t agree with what done of my church family say or do because when the mark of the Beast begins a lot of other churches and denominations still do not preach on these things so if you don’t know how will you be able to know what going to happen in the last Days? if am still alive I will die a Seven Day Adventist . 🎉

I’m so sorry for your experiences. I was born in the church and I’m still Seventh Day Adventist but I’m no longer go to church for many raisons.My relationship with JESUS is improving. I actually with a group of SDA who left church for almost the same raisons (“Radio Télévision D’Espoir”).They are in zoom,RU-vid,Facebook and they have their app for the radio. I really enjoy my time with GOD I feel bless

This resonates with me so much, you guys have no idea.. I am exactly in this place right now, I’ve been analyzing my Church (7th Day COG) for some time now. I have gone and told them exactly how I feel and I get a lot of criticism from being honest.... I truly believe that the true believers(set apart) are being separated from the mainstream behaviors. You both seems passionate about Christ and that's great keep praying keep searching because God has a place for you guys because the bible says those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be fed and He knows the heart so keep praying keep searching and let God lead I use to be apart of the SDA congregation for almost my whole life but after some years of praying and searching the Holy Spirit led me to the Seventh day Adventist reform movement from the first visit I knew I found my place you just have to want it with all your heart and God will lead. I pray you guys find your place stay faithful keep praying and watch what God will do for your guys do not give up, the race is almost over and God could do good with a few more good men women.

I am a seventh day Adventist for 25 years ....I am now an Elder in church. And yes you may encounter things that may want you to live the church ,but at the end of the day the church is made up with people with different personalities and Jesus said in his word that the wheat and the tares will grow together. All what you need to do is keep your eyes on Jesus and encourage eachother and if you see something you don't like you ask a question.....you don't leave and then bad talk the church. When you have problems on your job do you leave .....I love my seventh day Adventist church. I love their teaching strictly biblical truth.

Oh guys, thank you so much for this candid, sincere video. I empathise with you. I am currently serving in leadership at my local SDA church. We see the exact same thing happening at my church. My heart breaks for folks like you who feel stifled in service for the Master, by those who have been elected to lead His people. I am battling some frustrations serving the church right now. Please pray for me, pray for God's remnant Church who desperately needs Him. Pray for every seeking soul, and for ordinary folk like us to hear and obey the promptings of the Holy Spirit to be Jesus to someone who needs Him. I pray that you stay at the feet of Jesus and grow from glory to glory, despite (sadly) what is happening in our faith community.

Saw the whole video, and thank you for being brave and sharing. I can tell you guys are amazing people and possibly great experienced leaders. I hope you guys go back to that same church and not run away. The youth needs us more than anything. Your church is in the transition to hand the baton to the youth but to only loyal to God youth. Yes older folks have their ways but it’s not always the right one, they’re getting to that age… please work it out. God is with us wherever we go. Hello my SDA family, I can identify with you in regards to the legalistic practice in the Church. I also have been disappointed because I expected the believers to be at a certain spiritually mature level. I also have felt the wrath of those who chose the wrong way of dealing with persons who do not see things the way they do. I had to accept the harsh reality that the majority of the people do not understand what it means to be a Christian. Change can only happen in the Church when members make 'love for God' the main motive for their profession of faith. Otherwise it will continue to be legalistic. You are on the right path of seeking to find a better relationship with God and to understand the purpose you have been called for, just keep pressing forward. From experience, I can advise you that you will be traveling a lonely and weary road but it the best place to come to know God on a very personal level. It may take a while for you find a good church family. Please continue to exercise caution and patience as the Lord is working to complete His good work in you. Have a blessed day

Hello guy! I stumbled upon this video last year and l promised myself to return to it. I was born in the SDA church and l can relate to what you are talking about. The lies, deceit, pretence, unfairness, backbiting, gossip makes you wonder if the people in this church are for God or if they are truly led by the Holy Spirit. I stopped attending the SDA church in 2019 but l still look forward to going back in the future.

I was a third generation Adventist, born and bred , went to all the Adventist schools . But as I grew older somethings seemed very wrong with the Church, it felt like something was missing . Church members were judgemental, malicious and spiteful. I often wondered where God was during Church leadership election periods were there were full on verbal fights and threats in the church. It didn’t seem like the Spirit of the Lord was leading. It seemed more like the spirit of EllenWhite was leading. After years of doubting and dreading the sabbath, I met my now husband, he was on fire for the Lord ,he had this faith that I could never understand yet I wanted that relationship with God too. We got married and even though I wasn’t going to church that time I started having a true relationship with God, I had no doubt He was working in me. He revealed who He was to me. We eventually found a church we both liked and I really got to know what a church family is like. The Holy Spirit can never be in a place and His fruits are not seen (Galatians 5 ). A podcast called FormerAdventist helped with my transition and I am so happy with my relationship with Christ and I cannot wait to share His Gospel with the world.

SDA is the truth and always will be the truth. Leaving SDA is gonna be the biggest mistake. Things may seem sweet now, in the end it will be bitter. God didn't promise us an easy road but one that's rocky. I do pray you return to the fold.

Born Adventist and will forever be Adventist. A friend of mine left the church because of “people.” I find ways to remain true to my beliefs, rather than going to church to meet people that would make me happy.🤷‍♀️🙏🏾🙏🏾

I was led to your video today and funny thing is a few weeks back I saw another clip of a family who has left the church but forgot who it was and never got to see it, and this morniing at 3:30 I find myself up and asking God what He wanted to show me and finally He led me to this video. There are several things you said that I want to highlight, just highlighting, 1. I want to be where God is, powerful statement, and the only one that matters. (If that wasn't your exact words, sorry, but what I am trying to say is that on a whole, if it doesn't come from God, if it is not like God, than I want no part of it. I feel t he exact same way, I want to please Him. Second thing was personal relationship, remain there. John 16 vs 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He is the only one who can lead you into all truth. I was called to begin PRL Ministry which is Pray, Read and Listen, or pray consistently, read the word, bible only ministry, and listen to God's voice daily and at all times. I have seen Him change things in my life and the example will help others. So be blessed, reach out under the Ministry if you would like. Last but not least, thanks for sharing. I have not left the church because I feel God was me to be there to bring others to Him, but we still need to share the truth, so if you wish to talk about ways we can connect to build a larger Ministry let me know so others can find Him.

As an SDA born and bred...I try to do my best for christ..I choose to mind my business...I feel you though..some people get too comfortable and entitled bse they have stayed in a certain church for so long...sadly

I am an Adventist and I am happy with the faith that I found in Adventist teaching. I could say I found pastors and members that don't act the way they have to. But I don't care because I go to church to look for Jesus not to look for people's behavior.

i know how you both feel.i came into the sda church from the streets with a target on my back from the members of the church. i became a bible teacher then a preacher/evangelist and alot of members tried everything to run me out of the church including preachers.I DONT CARE WHAT HAPPENS IN CHURCH....GODS ANSWER IS NOT TO STAY AWAY FROM ''HIS''CHURCH.i know how you feel but its NOT his answer.acts 2 says GOD'' ADDS ''TO HIS CHURCH DAILY WHO ARE GOING TO BE SAVED...NOT STAY HOME BUT HAS THEM IN ATTENDANCE IN HIS CHURCH.hebrews 10:25 says not to forsake going to church but especially in these last days go as MUCH as possible.lev 23:3 says go on sabbath to meet with the saints....matthew 13 says to let the wheat and tares grqw togeter meaning until JESUS comes the saints and aints ....the glad and bad are going to be in the same building and GOD will deal with those members who act up when HE comes back....BUT....IN THE MEANTIME................WE GOT TO BE OBEDIENT AND DO OUR PART AND STOP MAKING EXCUSES AND GO TO CHURCH ''EVERY''WEEK BECAUSE JESUS WENT EVERY WEEK EVEN THOUGH THEY VERBALLY AND PHYSICALLY ATTACKED HIIM AND TRIED TO THROW HIM OFF A CLIFF AND STONE HIM [LUKE 4;16,31/JOHN 8;58'59].YOU HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT ...THRU CHRIST YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS EVEN WEATHER THE STORM IN CHURCH AND IF ONE CHURCH IS BAD FIND ANOTHER CHURCH BECAUSE THERE IS SOME CHURCH OUT THERE FOR YOUR YOUR FAMILY BUT DONT JUST STAY HOME AND HAVE WORSHIP THATS NOT GODS PLAN .....THATS ''WHY''HE HAS CHURCHES BUILT....AND REMEMBER....THE CHURCH IS NOT PERFECT AND NEITHER ARE WE.....LETS GROW TOGETHER......GOD BLESS YOU

I am so happy I became a Seventh-day Adventist 23 years ago and by God's grace this is the best decision I made.

Those of us who happen to know anything about the particular SDA church you are speaking about would agree that there are certain challenges there. But which church does not have any issues between the members and the Pastors. You guys need to be honest and state that you are upset and left because of how the Youth Pastor was treated. There are many people who dislike how the Youth Pastor was treated and will agree that it should not have happen. Yes, there are some people in every church who believe that they "own" the church and unfortunately some Pastors are influenced by them in their decision making. However, instead of bashing the church, you could have transferred your membership to another SDA church. This is the time that we must put our focus on Christ not on any Pastor or church member. We all need to thrive for the faith that Christ alone imparts. Let us allow the Holy Spirit to guide us so that we can be part of the solution to the issues.

I needed to go to a church after something happened in my life that caused evil to enter me ( I used a pendulum to ask a question, someone said I could ask my soul what it was I was really feeling about something I was confused about ) I couldn’t do anything but ask Jesus for help only I forgot what to say which was… In Jesus’s name get behind me Satan and the evil kept rising up my leg’s I started to run outside but was stopped and then I just said,”I serve Jesus Christ and I never stopped saying it over and over the evil stopped moving up my body just below my solar plexus but I kept saying it because I didn’t know what else to do, It stopped moving up my body and I don’t know how long it was but suddenly my heart was filled with Amazing Love it filled me full up and instantly the Evil left out down my leg’s so fast as if it was only a horrific dream only it was real… I dropped to my knee’s but kept saying I Serve Jesus Christ I kept saying it over and over until I knew Jesus received my repentance. Now I watch Prophet Elius of Relavation Church, I will also go to other churches where God, Jesus, Holy Spirit is First Second and Everything eyes on God always. I didn’t want to believe in the devil only a All Loving God very Esoteric only Evil is real but God is more and Jesus already won and so have I 😎 my future is bright but ✝️🛐 is ✨✨✨🤍✨✨✨ God is the Brightest 🙌🙌🙌 Thank You for your Truth’s God Bless You & Your’s I still attend my now SDA church for the fellowship and service to God even if the sermons are leaving me wanting… I get that from Relavation Church on the Lord’s day. But honor the Sabbath at SDA win 🙌 win🙌 Glory 🙌🙌

We should not look into others when we go to church. Judging people is not in our hands that’s God’s work. Don’t leave God for people in the church. Being an Adventist myself I go to church because God has called me to do His work. There can be discriminations, discouragements and heart breakings among church members but don’t ever leave God for people. Not all people are same! People will not give you salvation but God will! Stick with Him! He’s the only way for salvation!

We Put God I'm a box 😭 this is so very very sad and man tends to put God on his time schedule rather than allowing the Holy spirit to move as he wants. We are to worship God in spirit and in truth ! If my people who are called by my name will HUMBLE themselves and PRAY ! SEEK HIS FACE !! Everything said in this video is on point, thank you for sharing this truth . I am also SDA and I share the SAME VIEWS. That’s why I had to learn to seek Jesus first and above all else because you can make it to heaven without being SDA but you can’t make it to heaven without Jesus.

I left the Baptist church and was led by GOD to the Adventist church. So many loving people in my old church. Did I ramble on about why I left, no. I went out quiety, nicely, and respectfully. Revelation 12:17 King James Version 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The only church who meets this as stated by the Bible. I am so thankful to GOD to be shown this !

This is so touching, It is so heartfelt when you talked about youths not going to church because I honestly came through that, and gladly I met The Lord myself in 2021 where He led me for 7 months in His presence and teaches me things He wanted me to know because that's what The Lord told me as it is what He wants for me. The Lord is a true God who always there waiting for us to invite Him. Go to another SDA church but your reason for going to church is not to look for faults it's to follow truth and serve God. You are looking at all carnal things .

Being a Seventh Day Adventist doesn't mean that you are guaranteed a smooth ride. Its like being in the Noah's Ark, never leave the ark, there will be a challenges in the church but put your focus on God and not people around you.When you put your focus on people you will be like Apostle Peter who sank into the sea. Be in the chosen ark of the lord and don't go outside bcoze outside is danger becoze the church you left is the safest place.

Your family is lovely and it’s a shame that you are letting a few disagreements control you. No church is perfect, and the easiest thing to do was to visit another church in your city or neighboring community and transfer to the one you like. Leaving the church should never be an option, I don’t like many things in my church but I pray for them and do my best to help make changes according to the scriptures and with all respect for my fellow worshipers.

I don't know your church, but I know there are elements of what you speak of in some of the SDA churches. I am not a SDA because I am so in love with everything taught as some things are not based on scripture, but I remain because yrs. ago God told me I had to stop going to 3 different Sabbath keeping faiths, and choose one of them. You both are a beautiful couple & yr baby is adorable. Please pray about being the spiritual leaders of a Bible based church that you wish for her to be nurtured in. I’m sorry you’ve went through this, but it’s not the Adventist church that I left. I left the people who had cold hearts and found another Adventist church to attend with Warmer people and truth that was being preached. My last church was wonderful but you know, the same people of the church are the same people of the world. Hopefully you’ll find another Adventist home to visit.

Guys God bless you all. Church is formed by sinners, no one is perfect even pastor, elders, nobody. Remember God is our model, tou can go to other SDA church. Cause when you are in a good pay job and things are going bad like manager in corruptions you never say you will your job cause of the manager. You do your part well, you respond for your act and so will the manager. Same I would say for the church. Live your life how God ask us to do and preach your brothers and sister around you and everyone will answer for their act. But don't let the enemy play with you until decide to leave your church ok. I joined the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in 1992 after an eight year search trying to find answers about the mark of the beast. They had the answers so I joined. Around 2012 I found out that the doctrine of the Trinity was rejected by all of the founders of the Church. They taught that Jesus was begotten out of the Fathers own substance (not created, as is taught by the Jehovah Witnesses) way back in eternity before anything else existed. I saw that the Trinity as taught today was not voted in until the 1980 General Conference session in Dallas, Texas. I came to the conclusion that the pioneers were correct and that the church had stepped aside from the truth. In August of 2015 the Michigan Conference leaders persuaded my church members to disfellowship me because I believed that Jesus was the only begotten son of God. Now I mostly worship in home churches. Never thought I would see the day when a person would be thrown out for believing the founding fathers of the church. Pray for the people…….

It's really interesting reading in the comments about people telling you guys to endure and keep your eyes on Jesus not others etc. They clearly didn't watch this whole video. My dear deciples of Jesus, obeying what the Holy Spirit has said to you is the most important thing about all else. You staying for 10 years shows you're not a whimsical couple that hops from church to church. If you have visited others churches out there you would have Kwown the problems are the same. The only problem with SDA is we are too close to each other so problem will eventually come, we become very judgmental. But instead of leaving the church you should have looked for another that meet your goals and bring you close to God. Take the time you guys need and pray 🙏 about it and let God leads you.

I've been watching what's going on in the world and I've learn something very important.. People believe one must be going to the church building to be saved, which is not true.. The most important thing is that we live the way God ask.. People are so caught up in their denominations, that they start defending the organization.. Read John 18 and you all will understand what's about to go on world-wide. My encouragement to you bro and your wife and child is this scripture which says " As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord". This is your church.. Your little family is your church.. Lead them to God.. That's your responsibility.. Because the truth is all religions, church, denomination or organizations will follow the beast. But you and your family don't have to.. Remember; as long as you're follow Jesus, don't worry about what people say and make sure you spend time in prayer and the word of God with other believers so that your faith don't die out...

In the current world it's hard to find perfect people there is trouble everywhere James 16:33 says that if we are to look for good peopke for us to be comfortable in church we may search forever❤

I emphasized with you both for your experience and I thank God for owning your truth. I’m from Nigeria and also an Adventist. A lot of us here had this experience at a time in our lives and we did come together to start a fellowship where we allow the Holy Spirit to have free expression and still holding the sabbath truth. We still have a lot of SDA churches/fellowship where the love of God still constraints them it’s pity you went to a wrong one. This quarter's Sabbath School Lessons are about the fundamental protocols of the Adventist faith. Many of the things this young couple addresses are about their understanding of worship. They have not stressed the biblical principle outlined in the Torah. Therefore, the carnality takes control and perverts the understanding and requirements for receipt of the Holy Spirit, and righteousness then the challenge of being like Yeshua becomes the basis for one's decisions and perspective.

Very true Jesus is not so legalistic or judgemental if you understand the grace of God towards us. It will make us more humble knowing that even if we fail sometimes His grace lift us up.

I am happy to hear how you reflected on what happened in the days of Jesus. The condemnation etc. But have you forgotten what we were told in Hebrews 10:25 and Matthew 13:30? Brother and Sister according to Inspiration we must keep watching for all of these things and more will have to happen before Jesus comes. See Revelation 16:15. We must be courageous and press on. As for being in church and wanting to have the feeling of the Holy Spirit is another area we should be careful with. We were warned about fanaticism etc. Let us all be watchful and keep encouraging each other. Staying away will only cause endangerment to our souls. Besides our own we will have others to answer for. Pray for strength and courage. Sometimes whenever I look around or go to church I myself become disappointed or filled with indignation to see how watered down our beliefs and sermons have become. However, I realized that there must be a revival in our church and it must start with us soul searching ourselves and praying faithfully for our brethren. I pray God that you be strengthened and use your platform to win souls for God instead. There is no other truth expect for what the SDA teaches. Jesus soon Comes.

There is a time that many will leave the church. You are just one them. I came to this church in my fifties. During this time I have come to understand the many doctrines that this church has, I have compared them to many other Christian’s doctrines. I can say without contradiction that they teach the truth as stated in the scriptures. It takes sacrifice and commitment to be an SDA. But I have never had so much peace. I don’t have to believe my mom is in Heaven watching over me, or my family member who died rejecting God will be burning in hell for ever and ever. This is not just their doctrine this is the truth as taught in the scriptures. So Hallelujah for this church. I hope you are happy with wherever you go.

I perfectly understand your feelings, my brother and sister. Honestly , I have had thousands of bitter experiences as a Seventh-day Adventist. However, I always remember that Jesus came to meet a crooked generation of God's people in Ancient Israel, but did He leave the nation to found another? How about Nehemiah when he realized that the Jews had deviated from the Lord's course? Family, I love you guys and I know God does too. Can we start some reformation?

All denominations are big headed and proud. The fact that a group can say we have it all correct. We da real church is a HUGE RED FLAG.

I am 82 yrs old. My family joined the SDA church when I was 12. I have never seen another organization that teaches the truth as this church does. When I was baptized a very sweet woman warned me: Don’t look at the people. Look at God.” It is so true! Look how Gods chosen people in the Bible failed. We need to watch and listen to God, not people. I do not want to leave this organization even if it “ looks like it will fall” as Ellen White predicted for the last days. Keep praying. God loves you. Please review what our church teaches about Babylon. Babylon has fallen and God warns everyone to come out of Babylon. As you quoted our battle is with principalities and powers. Outside the safety of the only church that teaches true Bible truth, satan will tempt you to join Babylon …there are people in every church who are legalistic and critical and satan will tempt you to be discouraged.

No way guys you just want to enjoy life outside..SDA is religion full of truth and it’s very hard if you don’t give all of you to God. So i don’t blame you guys go on with your life.
