Phenomenal interview and such a delightful couple. I INSTANTLY adopted her saying, “God, let me see this through your eyes”! That is a lifetime game changer. As always, thanks for sharing.
do u really have to brag about it ?not paying mortgage it's causing a lot of attention by foreigners who want to live a low cost but at the same time causing gentrification to the local People .
@@MariaGasca-Reyes First of all I don´t explain myself to "ignorance" you know nothing about me and yet you place me within a group of people I just don´t form part of. What you call bragging I call making life changing decisions that have given me peace of mind, tranquility and a much more enjoyable life.
@@MariaGasca-Reyes. They’re not paying rent or mortgage likely because they sold a home in another country (US maybe) and INVESTED that money in Mexico. They could have taken that money to any country in the world. Gentrification is something that I’ve went through twice as a homeowner in the U.S., in Florida. When you live in a highly desirable place with warm weather and beaches, etc, the word is going to get out and the area eventually becomes more expensive to live. Sometimes you get priced out. It’s not unique to Merida or Mexico, and something we have to adjust to. It’s a fact of life.
@@Mexicobeanpole Hi there! I love Chapala the last time I was there I had the opportunity to visit San Antonio Tlayacapan. The malecón there is really nice and quiet. Looking forward to going back and capturing some sunsets. I´m Adam by the way.
I can tell my parents really enjoyed your visit. Thanks for bringing those smiles to their faces. We’re trying to make it down to Christmas, maybe we’ll see you! If you visit for their BBQ, don’t listen to my mom.. Bloody steaks are good for the heart. 🤫 Ask my dad for his Chilean mojito. You won’t regret it. God bless. ❤
Absolutamente. Hope to meet you if you make it down for the holidays. I’ve never had a Chilean mojito but I’m looking forward to trying it jejeje. Bloody steaks… I actually like those jejeje
As an RN for 24 years in California, Gerontology is not commonly seen as a Medical specialty in México. We have to understand that the Mexican culture as well as other Latin Countries, elders live at home until they passed.
Good informative interview. If i didn't want to move to Merida i do now. That's a beautiful home. Thanks for all the videos Cartess. It gives us a great perspective of what life's like in Mexico.
Sky Med isn’t insurance. It’s emergency helicopter service to your hospital of choice in the U.S. We bought the 5 year plan too, and we can go back to Florida and use our Medicare.
“Mexican cuisine varies drastically from region to region, as each area offers dishes that reflect its unique climate and cultural heritage. In the hot and dry north, beef and goat dishes like carne asada and birria are very popular, while seafood dominates coastal areas with dishes like ceviche and aguachile. The central region is famous for its complex sauces, like mole poblano, which is a rich blend of chili peppers, spices, and chocolate. The Yucatán Peninsula is known for its Mayan dishes like cochinita pibil, which is shredded pork marinated in citrus juice and achiote. This regional diversity not only highlights the varied ingredients and flavors across Mexico but also tells the story of the country’s rich cultural heritage through food.” “This unique blend earned Mexican cuisine a spot on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list, making it the first UNESCO-protected cuisine in the world.” México’s gastronomy is amazing and you have to be open to embrace it, and appreciate it.
Hi love your you tube Chanel love Maria’s house could I get Maria’s agent we been looking for to long and it looks like a safe and beautiful place to retire .thank you for what you do it helps a lot GOD BLESSE you and you’re family .
Oh wow this was impressive I enjoyed this video I agree with her we are so lucky to have you we are getting all of this good info: from you they are so real just like you.😊
Hola Robert.. As soon as we get all settled down you. Cartess, Angel and Heather will be expected to visit us often for get together.. So nice to have extended like minded people around us.. God bless
You are right! I have family in Mexico. Sheibaum is a commie and is in cahoots with the cartels. Most Americans are clueless and are just sheep. Can't believe how they think everyhing is going to be better there. I love Mexico and if you have enough to live amongst the "fresas," you will have a nice life. Most American retirees don't have that much income. Also, ppl that can't speak fluent Spanish going there to live is surreal. Now they all have the added problem of resentful locals.
Asking God to help you see things through His eyes is wise. I am moving to La Paz in June 2025. I am asking Holy Spirit to lead me and to help me see La Paz, Mexico through His eyes.❤❤❤
Excellent interview congratulations!… $8,500 dlls for moving their stuff from the USA to Mexico that was a very good deal, can they share the information for the people who move their stuff? We are moving to Colima Mexico maybe next January we’re just waiting to finish our new home, thank you.
Hola and I hope that in the near future you can do so. I know that there are youtubers that talk about remote jobs here in Mexico. However, I am not sure.. I wish you the best and pray all goes well for you before you make a move anywhere.
I’m curious…where in Mexico is this house located? I am seriously thinking of leaving the US and going to Mexico because the cost of living in the US is crazy and I am living in the Silicone Valley.
Question, what do we do about medical care, I was born over in TJ but lived my entire life except for two weeks in Los Angeles. I want to retire and live there but I’m afraid to because I’m not familiar with banking, driving, moving my stuff/cars, etc. Can you help with these details? I want to move in next five years or less if possible.
Yes, Tijuana is just a skip and a hop to the U.S. You can always start doing things slow so that when the time comes it would not be such a drastic change for you. Dont be afraid, Your other home is just across the boarder.. Wish you peace in your search.
