I want to personally apologize to Justin for hating on him for years because of the false narrative that the media have portrayed about him throughout his career. It's a life lesson to us all about judging a person by what others influences us to believe rather than our own experiences.
A big shout out to gatlin, I'm Jamaican living in the uk. Watch you complete over the years, but only cheering you on when there's no Jamaican in the race. Much love and respect to you though, eventhough I think you got a bit of Jamaica in you, keep on doing what what you're doing Bro❤
As a jcan I’m still mad at Powell for choking in ‘04 but Justin was a FIERCE competitor and solid champion. Always respected his running. Salute to bro🫡
@@TheoOJamaloO1 what do you mean ? Asafa competed at the 2004 Athens Olympics he was placed 5th in the 100m finals . That race was won by Justin Gatlin
This was so good. I felt warm and fuzzy seeing you guys enjoy my country. JGat we always loved you. As you said, we just followed the code of cheering our own first.
I always loved Justin. As a Jamaican American I love both sides. whoever wins Im happy. I scream fo the Jamaicans and the Americans. Love. Love Love you all😘😘
Gentlemen, I'm so loving this channel. It's the bomb!!! 'Naa lie. I'm one of those who had a love hate energy towards Justin. BUT NOW...It's all good and it's all just 1 LOVE. This channel is good for the sport. The chemistry here is good. The commentaries and insights on the industry and athletes are priceless. IM LOVIN IT!!! By the way gentlemen, (as we would say in Jamaica) that caption is 'BADD!!!, it WICKED!!! "TOP 5, DEAD OR ALIVE" Guys, you have to do something with that. It's HEAVY. So whether it is going to be a documentary, a short feature film, a podcast special, you gotta work it. The rivalries, the clashes and showdowns. All that period covering the "TOP 5, DEAD OR ALIVE" You HAVE TO WORK IT. You guys must tell your own stories. We wanna see that, so please go for it. Anyway...big up yuself, Rodney, Justin and the team at Ready,Set Go & Tidal League.
Justin (The Gun) Gatlin! You have my utmost respect because when you were running 🏃♂️ you were the American that I thought would give my boy’s trouble. I am Jamaican and I support my country Bro. and Sis. to the max but you were enemy but Not Hated by me everything was about rivalry. Glad to see you can now chill with my JA boys and reflect. Peace and Love Bro.
Big Ups! I had to subscribe because Justin and Asafa gave me so many great memories as a young man. Plus I grew up in Alabama and fell in love with reggae about 6 years old. I live in ATL now and my friends often asked me why don't I move to Jamaica since I love the people, music, food, and of course the dance moves. I often was the one starting the party when I went out to reggae clubs. Big Respect!
@derekflowers3803 He forgot some of the Bahamian ways now, he's fully Americanized😊. I myself didn't even remember the name because I don't drink sodas and was born in Jamaica and have my accent..lol
Welcome home mi Breda Justin, glad to see you on the home soil bro, Jamaican always love and respect the craft of this man, glad you can experience the love that you well deserve
Big up the vlog & Jamaica 🇯🇲 Big up y'all CEO & the Minister of Sport ✊🏽 It was cool that y'all mentioned Masters athletes & associated World Records. It'll be appreciated if y'all spend a few minutes next time to go a bit deeper about said Masters athletes. Big up The Beard #Rodneyisfamous
I'm loving this. You guys should have a race off for old times sake😂😂😂 I taught Justin was cool. I guess it's just different when yalls not competing 🤷 one love to Sub10 and Justin ❤❤
I would also like to apologize to Justin Gaitlin for seeing him as a villain for years, I resepct a person of principles like him, who believes in God (that made me like him more) and listening to his story about the failed drug tests and how he stayed faithful to track and field and came back like he never left, I admire that. I just learnt all these yesterday now I am binging on everything I can find on Justin Gaitlin opening up about his life and great career.
This video confused me, I kept fast forwarding like "where is Asafa". The title implies that the whole video is with him. Maybe edit it to specify it's a Jamaica vlog. Otherwise it's borderline click-baity
As a Jamaican I wouldn't put asafa in it because he's the only world record holder who never won a gold at world or Olympic, he always cracks under pressure
I hope Asafa see appreciated he is in Jamaica and how the American athletes are treated as opposed to the Jamaicans. No one really cares about them in the States whereas in Jamaica is much more appreciated. I know Asafa wasn't feeling appreciated but I hope he sees that Justin doesn't have statues, Asafa have one in Heroes Park and one at Mystic Mountain. Big up yuhself Justin, come but soon
