@@spacecorpse3212 Well, even if your comment is a year old, it's still relevant (for now imo). I find it vexing when people reply to me on a comment I made that's 4-5+ years old especially when they have something absurd to say. I don't even comment on someone's comment thread that was made 4-5+ years ago no matter how tempted I am.
1:09-1:47 my favorite part. I love this track and I've never even played a shantae game before. Update 2023: Bought and played my first Shantae game which was Half Genie Half Hero (Always wanted to play this one).
Shantae and the Pirates Curse is the only game I've played from the series but it is really good in my opinion, only problem with it is, if you have a really good computer as people say you can get over 2000 fps and the game is un-playable.
Slavic Boi: 1) Most popular platform is 3DS, or maybe Switch soon, as WayForward is effectively a ‘nindie’ 2) What about Half-Genie Hero? I love the music in that game.
You know, I kind of wish this version of Burning Town was in Smash Bros. Not that Neo Burning Town from Half-Genie Hero is bad, but I feel like this version iterates and improves upon what the first Shantae and Risky's Revenge had, whereas Neo lost some of the original melody in the remix process.
I feel that feel, totally not luffy, rubberman202. Also I want to point out, it's funny you commented on the OST of the one Shantae game with an overtly pirate-esque aesthetic.
I know a place hid away from the streets From the cops and the heat and the fake-ass beefs Where the waves and the sand and the spraycans meet Breakdance Beach? Breakdance beach!
When you play a game about a genie Thats saves a town without any wishes to help her but the music sounds like I came from a Egyption game But you got no time to think about that cuz you are fighting a pirate
In this game, Shantae is actually human, because of the aftermath of the last game, where Risky Boots steals Shantae's Lamp, turning her into a human. However, she regains her genie powers in Half-Genie Hero.
@@pufflepoint nonono, he goes in to save the burning school from the *EVIL PEOPLE* but then gets arrested because the *EVIL PEOPLE* actually own the school.
after all these years i- i- I FOUND IT!!! I dont even know where I heard it originially but I was watching one of those music to fill an empty head videos and this played and I immediately recognized it
4 dislikes. 3 aren’t risky. Probably tinkerbats. If anyone was paying attention in Risky’s DLC for Half-Genie Hero, there are 3 tinkerbats in the action room with her. What a *massive* coincidence.
KING TtUT Bruv I’m sorry but you need to be the top comment for anybody but comment scrollers like me to see it. (This part of the comment hasn’t aged well) For the record, I’m totally on board with the idea of a Smash Ultimate DLC. I can see Nintendo doing it, but how would it be done? What would a _balanced_ move set look like?
@@half-qilin Hmm... how about hair whip for neutral attack, low hair whip for down tilt, f-tilt could be a scimitar slash, up tilt maybe an upwards hair whip that goes 180 degree around her. Her F-Smash could maybe be her power kick. Her Up Smash could be her uppercut kick and her Down Smash could either be a hair twirl or scimitar twirl attack. Her dash attack could be her scimitar dash. Her Neutral Special could be her pistol which can be charged up for more damage and launch power depending on how long you hold it. Her Up Special could either be a super cannon jump that can attack and spike enemies below her, or maybe harpie flight similar to that of Pit's recovery. Down Special can be a transformation menu that gives different types of buffs and can completely change her playstyle, similar to Shulk's Monado Arts. Her Side Special could either be a Super Scimitar Dash, or an Elephant Dash. Her D-air is obvious, with it being a downward thrust of her scimitar. Her N-air could be a spinning hair twirl that covers both sides. Her F-air can be a fire ball attack, kind of like Villager's and Isabelle's slingshot. Her B-air can be her drill kick for sure. Im not sure about her Finals Smash though. I have no idea as to what that could be. But since Shantae is already a spirit, it's highly unlikely that she will come as dlc. But who knows, anything could happen.
@@Calabari1999 Ironically my mom actually ended up loving the series. She's played most of the games in the series I think (with a bit of help) :P And I was like 80% sure she wouldn't like it, it's fun to be proved wrong sometimes! ^_^
Too bad Shantae is already a spirit in Smash Ultimate. Now she doesn't have a chance of being DLC. Edit: I take that back. Min Min from Arms went from Spirit to Fighter in Smash Bros in the next Fighters' Pass, so Shantae has a chance of getting in.
Well the next DLC character is an Arm's character and there's already Arm's spirits right? So depending on the character it might mean that there's a chance.
@@hhhhhhhhhhh4861 Yep, this Arms character, whoever he or she is, would very likely be a character who's already a spirit, so Shantae, Rayman, Geno, and others have a massive chance of turning into fighters as well. At least, I hope so. Edit: It's Min Min and she was originally a spirit. This opens the doors for other Spirits being playable.
Comparing this to the version that’s in Smash, I like the Smash version way more. It’s more groovy, sounds more like a remix (despite it not being a remix at all), and overall it’s better to listen to. But that doesn’t this version is awful. (And remember, opinions exist.)
Tommy pickles and the gang in burning town Shantae: who let you kids out Tommy: were using our imaginations Chuckie: *blushes in fear* Kimi: *smiles a lot* Dil: WAHHHHHHHHHHH (Phil and Lil fight) Shantae: hey who is this red haired child named (No answer) (Chuckie still blushes and screams over a tinker bat)
Doll Face Smasher The entire franchise is made to sound (music wise) like it came from the Middle East. Even the characters and locations did that as well. So that's a perfectly logical conclusion.
