Imamabara is the main attraction of lko among others. You can go in without a guide but for the labyrinth area. Really nice to see international tourists in my hometown which is not on the tourist map

Malai makhan / daulat ki chaat/malaiyo all are same process of making with different names and are called differently in different places (luckhnow/delhi/ varanasi/. Asad-ud daula, the nawab of luckhnow was.very fond of food and specially of kababs. Due to his old age age( weeken teeth at old age) the galauti ( melting )kabab was invented. In bada imambara, apart from.masjid, there is bhhulbulaiya (man- made labyrinth) , proper guides are advisable otherwise people get confuse inside.

I don't know why you people never visit better parts of the city, You should have been in the new Lucknow when you were there, little disappointed 😔 Should visit Ambedkar park, River front, Hazratganj street food, Gomti Nagar etc. Next time please explore better places than you did here. Looks like you cover only old Lucknow. If you check on Google these places comes in top 10 to visit in Lucknow.
