MSCHF or however its spelled did something similar to this with trading card packs, actually exactly this minus the fact you did real people in real time which is super dope, they did theirs months ago too, but it was based on completely random people and had like the ID cards from the workplace and that one was pretty creepy haha. Still cool and unique idea here tho.

How did you pay for all of this? As an artist, my biggest hurdle to creating art is finding the money to do it. This doesn't look like a cheap project.

Sunday Nobody piad for the vending machine, gallery space, labor costs and materials for the ID's. It certainly was expensive but he also sold over 700 ID's for $20 so that profit helped pay for the pop up costs. But that was a decsion he had to make to front the money (that im sure he saved up for) but is part of the job of a working artist and risk that comes with trying to acomplish a big projects across the country.

You could always do like a test form with multiple questions so it can be scanned quickly. Or even better a website they can access with there phones.
