Love these games! I really think a good variation for content would be 2v2v2v2. It lowers the absurdity level and crazy imbalances and lets the teams strategize a little bit about what handful of bonuses to stack. Super fun. Either way though, keep giving us this mod!

SPOILERS: I found this one to be kind of a dud. Green, Purple, Orange, and Yellow were completely irrelevant for almost the whole game, and by the time they finally got the hint to go mid, Blue already had the win completely locked down.

I love how in every game like this there are 1-3 players that just ignore the monument and fight amongst each other xD (and they never.. have.. blacksmith.. upgrades..) [aaaand then when there are like 20 years left they are like - YEA LETS TAKE MIDDLE] XD!

Imo, if there is no aggression for 45 min or whatever timeframe, no one should be allowed to camp the middle either. Game would have been much more interesting if the countdown wasn't already 3/4 done by the time the fighting started.

I know a big part of the community games is having players of all skill levels and I like that because of the variety of playstyles we get to see in one game but there's a but. I don't think it works very well for the 10x shared civ mode, I think players need to at least have a reasonable amount of experience so they know what techs to get and can get them quickly enough so that all the bonuses are shared. I say this as a very low elo player so I'd be excluding myself from playing too so I'm not just being mean to noobs here, I just think it kinda limits the potential of how good this specific game mode could be.

Maybe it was originally 10 separate llamas, but then at the start of the game the largest llama simply ate the others.

You should do a Match named "Everything Everywhere all at Once" It would be: Forest Nothing, Diplo, King of the hill, Sudden death, Regicide, Exploding Kings with 10xTech Mod. Come on T90, make this happen

What you could do to enforce interesting special combinations is to make a list of civs you want in the game, then randomly draw a civ for each player that they have to select.

T90 my man I hope you see this, as a class clown from your school era and current spanish speaking teacher of public school kids I feel a lot of connections to your story and there are a lot of things I want to say from a lot of perspectives but I'll sum with this: which do you think was tougher...spending a year trying to ignite a love for spanish in a class that behaved "horribly" and seeing the EOY just for fun celebratory fiesta (that teachers often fund themselves) devolve into total chaos...or some time in in school suspension. Not trying to preach, I just feel for that teacher and the people who find themselves in that job are usually undeserving of the perceived harmless fun of middle school kids who don't realize that they are adding straws to the back of the camel that sacrifices much for those under their charge.

I only lasted about 25 minutes before I realised I kinda had to play this mod myself. It is pretty funny going on random teams and seeing what you get. First one I had a saracen team mate, so ten archers made pretty short work of the enemies buildings. Next I was Cumans with Poles and Italians, so loads of free tech/ageing up and speedy cav. Unfortunately my bot enemies had chinese so they started with loads of vils, but also -2000 food and the AI seems bugged such that they'll only go for berries until they have a positive amount of food, even though they could have built a mill and farms. They also built half a dozen docks but only one fishing ship. I like games modes like this to mix things up a bit, and I think this one in particular should be good for learning civ bonuses plus which teams work well together (and which really do not)

Britons + Tatars + Japanese + Saracens leads to high range trebs with 500 attack and insane blast radius. Basically nukes 11

Soooo... the forest trees have 40 wood normally, then the Mayans get the 15% more resources, which is then multiplied by 10 so 150% more, so the trees have 100 wood. It sounds way better than it looks.... 10 doesn't sound like much but it really did take forever to cut those down. Non-forest trees have 75 wood, so around 187/188 wood if those are actually the tree on this map.

Hate to say but it’s a smart strategy to not get your techs until after everyone enemies. And not much to dissuade it. I wouldn’t be surprised if this happens

19:35 so if anyone is in the situation where you don't have enough wood for a lumber camp but you got enough for a farm and a bunch of vills holding wood like green is here, you can actually build a farm and your villagers will 'drop off' the wood when they complete the farm. Green probably has 100+ wood among all those villagers combined, so if he had build a farm here he would have gotten 100+ wood when it was completed and been able to make a lumber camp. NOW YOU KNOW!!

Technically you can drop off wood at friendly buildings like Tcs. But with a forest in the way. That'll take a while

I'm glad he apologized. Teachers are usually full of themselves. At our religious school the kids would gaslight, particularly one teacher. She kept leaving to tell the kid stood outside off, then come back in and put a videotape in. Then one kid would get up, eject the tape, put it back in the box and back on top of the wheelie tv. Everyone worked in silence, nobody gave a hint, and she really thought she was losing it. Maybe that's why she went out so many times as the kid would pull faces in the door, and it repeated 6 or 7 times. It was the puritanical teacher. They'd try turning all the chairs round and stuff so everyone was the wrong way but most teachers had seen it all before or were too shrewd. Someone stole the puritanical teachers baby jesus from a mary and jesus set that someone bought her, for ages she was upset, eventually the kids put a hat around and got her a new statue to make her feel better. She was felt sorry because she had a rough time in class, but she would complain girls skirts were too short if they were above the knee and so on, so she wasn't liked.

And today we all a valuable lesson. The most powerful technology is the machine guns in those towers.
