Could you cast a completely hollow tail (as opposed to this one with only the bones hollow), and fill it with oil and glitter to make a shaker mermaid?
It works like beads or donuts, there has to be a see-through hole inside for an elastic, and as long as this part is hollow, the rest can be made with anything. I think it would be possible but not easy as you need to have a hole where you insert the glitter and then sealbit with something, and it can't be the same hole that is for the elastic. And the glitter would sit on the bottom most of the time
This is so kickass. Perhaps you could make a doll based on a glass catfish with this. I've got a school of them and seeing their transparent skin and organs is a really interesting effect.
I love her art and process - I too just pick random colours and start applying them to the canvas without a plan or purpose. What comes through (sometimes after months!) is always better than anything I could have planned. Sending love to the artists! ❤🎉
I appreciate your style so much and this is amazing but my personal taste I would LOVE to see this as an abyss siren. If the skeleton could glow without black light that would be soooo cool. AGAIN I still LOVE your OG and appreciate your time and skill. Amazing 🙌🙌🙌
This, of course, is all very cool, but it makes no sense without a basic hip joint, which will allow the doll to take natural relaxed poses and sit well and realistically. Then it makes sense to bother so much and take a long time to produce.
