I was thinking along similar lines, that most practical use will take some heavy equipment and maybe some environmental permit problems. most of it is too steep to store parts cars except at the top, to which they would have to be towed by an offroad towing machine, or terrace out the space lower down
One thought is build an auto road, rerouted with switchbacks etc so not too steep, in sections to the top, financed by lot sales along the good road, then park your cars on the flat land at the top. trouble though if oil from the cars at the top gets into wells on the lots you sold below, or if the lot is narrow and this forces too many switchbacks. Lots of grading either way though, either road building to the flat land at the top or terracing the bottom, if you want to park parts cars. Might be better to buy land that is part abandoned surface mine and already has terracing and truck access, with trees and homesite on the remaining part, hopefully with somewhere for a clean well.

Enjoyed watching your trips up and down the mountains; made me reflect of where I grew in Upstate NY with the Catskilks nearly and our nearest neighbor a mile away. We used to get bussed into school 15 miles each way. Our house had just over 100 acres and our own 60 yard ball 🏈 field, good times ~ keep looking and you'll find that place 👍
Jen send this to Chris. Rectifier/regulator is causing an overcharging scenario which is wreaking havoc with your atv's electrical system. That would explain why it runs better with the lights on.

Thanks for deciding to post this video, it was yet another great break from my own daily life in Norway to be a part of your life. A big reason that makes many people love movies, vlogs etc. is to experience environments and actions we don't see in our own lives. Yours and Chris' content fullfills that in a great way. Your best content is when you travel around in the US picking up cars, that really fullfills the point about taking part of a totally different life and actions. The rest of the content you two produce is second to none...well...except your roadvideos :)

Might be secluded during the winter and yall definitely need four wheel drive vehicles because once it snows, that steep road can be a problem as far as traction! But it’s beautiful property Jen and Chris, I bet there’s a lot of wildlife out there!

Great video Jennifer, I like the mishmash of whatever you feel is worthy information about you, or you and Chris, it's entertainment for us, and we're thankful for the editing time, and appreciate the time you put in doing so. WAY over here on the west coast of Canada in British Columbia, interestingly, after seeing this video, some areas here are no different, with deciduous trees awaiting Spring for the buds then leaves on the trees. I like the touch of showing some drone footage too, much appreciated. I've done a ton of ATVing, and my wife & I both have our own, hers is a Yamaha Grizzly 700 and mine is a Can Am 650 'two up' (made for two riders) which have been awesome quads. We're now thinking, after a couple decades or more of atving, of which I use to hunt up along the Alaska Highway some years back..well, we don't do so any more, so it may be time for the quads to go, but with a ton of great memories, as we use to belong to an ATV club, so the socialization was great as well. So, looking for a chunk of land are ya....room for what...6 or 7 kids, a dog and cat, and a busy life? lol. The very best to you both, and I like Chris's haircut...looks good on him!! Oh, haven't heard you sing for a while, so perhaps you could fit some of that in a video as well. Thanks so much!
Good luck on your property search! My wife and I bought mountain property and we never regretted it. Life changed and my oldest son needed to be closer to services so we moved into the suburbs. We didn't last, we ended up moving to the country (foothills) on a dozen acres but only 30min from work and the city. Living in the mountains informed our later decisions. If you find a property you love, go for it, you won't regret it even if it isn't a forever purchase.
I had opportunity to visit your great state back in 2002. I was in Hazelton for some training but my buddy and i would spend the evenings travelling as far as we could in all directions. Pocono mountains, Hershey and many other places too. It reminds a lot of the Blue Ridge mountains in my home state of Georgia. I hope you guys find what you're looking for because there's nothing like the mountains, rivers,streams and wildlife and not to forget about the peace and quiet 😊
2nd property is absolutely stunning. If given the opportunity to purchase such a beautiful piece of nature would be a blessing.
