You guys are so creative, we Malaysian eat rice as our staple food, so I take it that you replace the rice with lasagna. I have made both rendang and lasagna before, but haven't thought of combining the two. Good try. What about the durian? Do you still have the flavour? The spices may have overpowered the durian flavour.

i think it would taste better if you cook the cheese in rendang and let it melt with the rendang so that the rendang can thicken and stick together better
