Hi, Suscribed for the newsletter and went to fill fhe first survey but apparently it's mostly for travellers from the US. Hope you will make it available for travellers internationally. I am from India and watching your channel since more then 4 ysars now. Amazing work. 👏
@@KaraandNate you guys are so fun! Love the channel! One question, because you spent a lot of money on this trip will the next few videos be more athletic challenges because I LOVE athletic challenges
Ahhhh what an adventure this North Pole series has been!! Sooo proud of you Kar Bear… 50% excited, 50% nervous for a polar plunge!! YOU ARE ONE INDEPENDENT LADY MISSY! Love you both 💛✨
I have so much respect for the captain and his crew. The amount of training and focus it takes to control a mammoth ship through ice is unbelievable. I also have just as much respect if not more for the cabin crew and everyone else working on these ships. It’s a logistical marvel. It’s a literal small city floating on water and ice.
respect for destroying the last bits of ice for sealife? yea no. no respect for people who cruise to these idiot destinations ruining wildlife and then cry when they see a polarbear dying on the news
@@michaelmich00 says the person typing from their smart phone or laptop/desktop likely made somewhere with little to no labor laws with batteries which come from lithium mines that are literally depleting and ravaging the earths resources, along with the oil used to create and transport those goods. Until you live with no technology, don’t drive, don’t fly commercial, and you live in the middle of nowhere and gather your own supplies and food and shelter then sorry you have no place to talk. I hear this stuff all the time from folks who feel all high and mighty while typing from their $1000 smart phone wagging their finger at everyone else and forgetting to look in the mirror. Gets old. Yes it’s obviously not good for the planet but not much is these days. Everything has a serious consequence on this planet and it’s terrible but don’t knock the people working hard making a living doing what they enjoy. Some of these folks working aboard may have very little and this is their means to survive.
Nate's plunge in and under the ice water was stunning! The clarity and serenity of the moment was awesome. Hope you make a still photo of that. That is pure art!
I just grinned the whole way through this video. You're doing things most of us don't even dare to dream about, but you never take it for granted. I love how respectful you are to the crew and staff and I'm sure it endears you to them. Keep on being those 2 folks from Tennessee, but please don't ever stop filming your adventures, because 3.2million of us bloody love watching.
Dear Kara and Nate. I am a 64 yr old gma. Your content has brought such happiness to me, even when I had Covid very badly. I wanted you to know that I have voted for you guys to win travel influencer of the year EVERY 24hrs since they opened the voting. This is just my little way of saying THANKYOU for sharing your travels with me.💜
At any point the captain could have said, "We made it!" and only the crew could have known he was lying. So, all that effort meant it was the real deal!! I'm so excited you got to do this. I really enjoy watching your videos. In your early videos there was almost a hesitation wondering if it was okay you were talking to us. Now, you are both confident and welcoming as you take us on your journeys!! Thanks a million!!
Started watching during the pandemic with the Antarctica series. You restored my RU-vid feed and now i'm a RU-vid lover like I have never been. Your content is amazing and now the arctic series!!!!! Keep travelling and showing us the world, we love You ❤️
I built this ship :D Amazing to see you enjoying this amazing ice breaker) I was sailing with Le commandant the first time we hit Ice, in June 2021 before delivery.
I love how every person they come across, whether it be staff or strangers, they are always so nice…….speaks volumes of how nice and appreciative Nate and Kara are no matter where they are or what they are doing!!!
I honestly feel they are faking that niceness. Especially Kara. Nate comes on as a bit more genuine but I can feel the « fakeness » in Kara. There’s a video where they were riding a bike in Iowa I believe, where some fans were talking to them but Kara did not bother to talk back. Of course, they did not show that on video but Nate, later on, apologized for her behavior.
@@ramyyarak4247 kara is so fake lol, its just sad they make a show to look nice. u can see it every video, her fake laugh, fake hand gestures, everything fake. no normal person is that happy about every thing in life, also her saying every video ‘this is the best ever’ isnt the truth anymore after 10000 times. they get sponsored and need to act if they like it. i read the reviews on this boat and it wasnt that good, its too much waves and u get seasick really quick, small boat, also the personal is mostly talking french not english. and its cold all the time, u need to wear sweaters all the time
Not me bubbling over the fact these two finally made it to the North Pole. They’ve been travelling for so many years, and this I’m pretty sure has been on their bucket list for ages. So proud of these guys🥹🤍
The editing during the hitting 90 degrees sequence was cinematic, engaging, and phenomenal. I felt like I was there, thanks for sharing this experience with us!
I love how you look for fun ways to challenge yourselves. Your encouraging phrases are great. Kara is a life cheerleader. I think you guys would really enjoy Alaska. Keep living the dream!
I don’t know how y’all keep jumping in these freezing waters. Lol! This cruise is definitely now on my bucket list! I’d probably do a cartwheel if I were literally on top of the world too & that captain is cracking me up even though I have no idea what he’s saying. Ha! I love the giveaways you guys are doing! It’s so nice when creators give back to their audience! Well done!
Here I am, still wearing yesterdays pyjamas, sitting in my living room in Germany, having goosebumps and crying over complete strangers reaching the North Pole 😅 I love it! Thank you so much for sharing this trip! 😍
Loved Kara’s caviar experiences “first time on a plane, second time on a train, third time at the North Pole; where will be next?” Love, love, loved this vlog!
I started watching your channel in 2020 just before the pandemic shut everything down. I decided to watch from the beginning and I have finally caught up. It has been an incredible journey just to watch you two go through 6 years of travel. If you decide to have kids I hope you keep travelling, as parent it would be amazing to see how you figure it out. I have debated with my wife what it would look like if we took the kids out of school and started travelling. It feels very hypothetical at this point, but I guess it does for everyone until it's a reality. I hope you keep going for a long time! It has brought such joy to watch these videos during a very trialing time. Thank you
You guys are literally BEASTS!!! Never cease to amaze me! I got teary eyed when Nate when in the water! that shot was AMAZING! I admire Nate so much for always pushing his boundaries and reaching for more every single time and Kara’s optimism and adventure chasing spirit! You guys are the perfect couple!
I love watching your videos, I have a disability and can only dream of doing all the stuff you do. So I live through you to travel and watch how the world is so I thank you for all the amazing videos that make me feel like im there. Thank you.
I know content creators are struggling rn with the changes happening on different platforms, but you guys are truly my inspiration! I hope that within the next few years, I'm somewhere in the world doing what y'all do! Thank you
@@WaYsTiiD Popularity in certain apps is dropping. Which in turn, means that viewership is low. Other apps are struggling with their algorithms. People's content just isn't being shown. Viewers aren't getting notifications, sometimes not seeing content for DAYS after it's been posted. This all affects pay and career trajectory for creators. And this is happening to small and extremely large creators alike.
I'd love to know more about any potential environmental impacts of these ships, both in terms of cruise tourism and then generally icebreakers and how/if they contribute to any loss of sea ice! would love to hear you guys give some environmental info about this super cool journey you're sharing.
I'd love to know why people think things like this are anywhere near on the scale of being the tiniest issue. The issue is our failure to invest way more in nuclear power, and in the development of fusion, which needed to have been up and running already. That failure is about to destroy either economies or the world. The best we can do is build nuclear stations now to the further massive detriment of our economies and live like peasants for the next few decades until AI becomes smart enough to fix everything for us
Wow, that must have been an incredible trip. I would love to do a trip like this but when I was just researching I was shocked to see prices for that ship start at $37,000 per person. I knew it wouldn't be cheap but that puts it into territory very, very few people will ever be able to afford unfortunately. I guess I will have to settle for living vicariously through your videos.
I was shocked too. It's once in a lifetime but not everyone's lifetime. Considering what it takes to get up and back, it's 16 days, everything included - the cost is still high but justifiable in my opinion. I'm sure I'll never get to go unless I win a lottery but I appreciate them sharing the experience.
@@asmaaa7535 i don’t think they paid this trip themselves. they make 5 videos out of this trip which is very good marketing for the cruise because they have over 3 mio subs. so they are probably doing it for free or paying a part 🤷🏽♀️ idk tho. i also think they could afford it considering that they make a good amount of money with youtube and they don’t have to pay rent at home cuz they don’t have a flat or house. either way for them it’s not only vacation but also work.
What i wonder is can both of them will be able to live a normal and most of the times boring life as everybody else after living such adventures for so many years. 🤔
I'm crying because I know I'll never get to experience this amazing moment but thank you for sharing this experience! I've been living vicariously through you for the past 4 years 😭😭💖.
When Nate said he doesn't even know if they should celebrate because they did nothing but relax is so funny to me. It goes to show how hard they work to push themselves (even if you haven't seen ALLLL they've done and achieved esp physically). And it also goes to show how humble they are, I have been watching you guys for a little over 2 years and these videos also vibrate inspiration. ❤ love you bothhh!
@@suzend46 The weather condition in Nigeria 🇳🇬 is very cold 🥶 hot and cloudy ⛅️. You’re so foolish you didn’t get to ask where I’m from You lack manners.
Awesome episode! This is definitely on me and my husband’s bucket list! When Nate belly flopped into the Arctic Ocean, the view of the deep dark depths of the sea was surreal - definitely not for someone with thalassophobia! 🥶
I just want to say I admire you guy's relationship... there is alot of people that dream of having a life that you both have and you give us the chance to see/feel what it would be like. Thank you both!
I found y'all were nominated for an AIAA award! I voted for you guys ♥️ wow that was an amazing video. My favorite part was when nate did the plunge and took us with him. That water looked incredible
Is there a link you can provide? Also is there a way for the rest of us to vote on this? I checked the webpage for AIAA and there are about fifty different awards and I can't find a list of current nominees, only a call for nominees. Thanks!
@@carolehirsch7315 I came across it from another channels video that was promoting it. I can't believe kara nor nate even mentioning it. There are a ton of categories but you can skip any of them that you want. You can vote everyday
So excited to see the rest of your adventure! Also Kara, your backflips are insane, you can now say that you did that in both the artic ocean and antartiqua!
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ❤️ I love, love, love watching ALL of your adventures around the world, but this North Pole one just may be my FAVORITE! Safe travels & keep taking us all along with you both, Kara & Nate ❤️
I’ve been to the north pole before! I truly underestimated how cold it would be ahahaha. Knowing how cold it was, I could never imagine doing the plunge so kudos to you guys xx
I’m getting so spoiled with the frequent videos! I’m obsessed!! Going back to only one a week is going to feel like withdrawal😂 Phenomenal content and amazing and inspiring humans, as usual 😉
Your excitement always makes me so happy! And I was so excited for you on the North Pole that it brought a couple tears. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
when I grow up , I wanna be just like y’all 🥹 ! I’m so glad y’all ate the snow because I definitely was thinking if I were there I would do it 😂 and the shot of Nate belly flopping was sooo satisfying! The water is so blue ! I felt like I was there with y’all lol thanks for sharing , can’t wait for Episode 4 🥰⛄️
Amazing!! The clip @16.49 is so eerily humbling. Between the depth, how remote that area is and the color it makes you feel so so small ! And in awe of Gods creation.
The balls of steel of that captain. Guiding that huge ship through that ice, having all these people staring at your every move and recording it. Seasoned and unbreakable. Cool!
I love your guys videos, you both are such a true inspiration and make my day. I started watching a few years ago and your channel has remained my favorite. Congratulations on launching your news letter too! It’s so fun watching your channel grow! Thank you for your entertaining content, much love! ❤️
I can feel the coldness in my heart while you guys jump into the arctic freezing water. First time seeing your north pole Arctic experience videos from a hot weathered country, Srilanka. 👍🇱🇰
Although the entire experience is beyond amazing, I especially loved during the polar plunge seeing the water underwater. What a gorgeous shade of deep torquise the colors were. Just wow!!
That is such an amazing experience and really cool to see your journeys at the North Pole Kara and Nate. Watching keeps me inspired to continue my own travel adventures in the world!!
I've LOVED this series so far!! I literally cried watching yall finally make it to the North Pole lol. I'm kinda surprised Kara didn't. It's just such an amazing experience for you guys and to know we went to the same high school together just makes me happy that yall are out there experiencing what you are! It shows that no matter where you come from..if you work hard for something..you can achieve it. So proud of you guys. PS.. GO BEECH BUCS 💙🧡
Oh My G'Ness.... this is absolutely the most awesome!!!! I have just stumbled across these videos! I am now disabled, and mostly homebound... here in Northern Minnesota, so watching videos like these.... lets me go on grand adventures around the world!! This is just the neatest ever!!!
I love being in natural waters ... but when it comes to cold water I barely go up to my knees before I retreat. I CANNOT fathom the courage it took for Kara to backflip and Nate to belly flop into ICY COLD frigid waters - in a swimsuit - on a very cold, blustery day. I have profound respect and awe for these people!
I honestly just felt the excitement in my veins. This one episode (I’ve recently discovered you guys) made me live vicariously through you, and I was so excited for you guys. I celebrated reaching 90 degrees North with you, and felt the nervousness and excitement of the plunge!
Kara I just can't stop saying how much I love your energy, Nate is great but there is just something about you that is over the top and I love being here for it. Nate the way you committed to that belly flop just wow. Not sure if anyone who has been on a cruise or through watching cruise vlogs the staff is so generally nice and they are usually not from the states. Americans need to take notes from them. Thanks for taking us along .
I have had seasickness in the past but never on a big cruise ship because they are so big. I hope you find a way to enjoy the water. I also take anti-motion sickness medicine twice a day if it's acting up to make sure I stay hydrated and nausea free. I still love watching cruises through @KaraandNate lens though!
Dramamine is a heluva drug. There are shorter 1 and 3 day cruises, maybe try 1 out. Also, the bigger the ship the less you feel it. It also comes down to weather/wave conditions. Good luck.
That was AMAZING! I am 100% addicted to watching you two. I already can't wait for the next episode. You guys are incredible AND your film making skills are exceptional. Thank you!
at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.
Awesome! your potential seems limitless. I'm fascinated with investing but being a single mother and juggling all these things are quite difficult. How best can I start and what sector to engage in?
@Bryan Thanks for sharing, just looked up on google and I'm super impressed with her credentials. I dropped a massage on her webpage and hope she replies soon.
Don’t wait until the market skyrocket again then you start biting your fingers wishing you made the decision to invest. bought my third house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing in the financial market is a grand choice I made
Am not good doing it alone but getting into the market has been my best decision so far in my road to financial independence as it turns out to be lucrative for me and Personally I have multiple streams so I just enable the use of an investment advisor to navigate and secure the returns
Woah, Though this is the first time i would be reading comments about my financial advisor Ms. Melisa on RU-vid comments and it is quite a memorable insight.
