Beavers are stunning indeed. A natural perfection how good are they adjusted to the Nature. I'm checking out one location every couple days where one beaver family lives. They are almost used to me and it doesn't bother them anymore for me being next to their pond. They come out and do beaver busines like i'm not even there. Great video,Dave,i'm always enjoying watching these.
That Defender never ceases to amaze me. You look at it and think it is going to be difficult to maneuver in some areas and not real "good" at the stuff you think it isn't designed for. The darn thing is about unstoppable, and you two don't baby it at all. Can't help but wonder what you could do with one if a guy got a little silly with the suspension, etc. David please let us know what your water temps do this summer when you get the truck pulling with the Fleece Bypass. My truck is an 07 3500 long bed dually 4x4, 5.9 and 6 speed manual. I pull a big toyhauler and when we put the kit on I changed out the thermostat on the engine as well, it runs about 15-20 degrees cooler pulling some serious grades.. As soon as I saw your #6 cylinder it reminded me of my nephews truck, 12k on a factory remain, he tows heavy...looked just like yours. That is why I jumped in and suggested it... A Cummins distributor told a family member that they recommend them for anyone who tows. They forgot to tell him, results...like yours.
Awesome! That was the first video of y'all's I ever saw. Been hooked ever since, I'm an avid hunter, I'm in China Grove Texas. No moose around here, hunted just about everything thing else. Elk is probably my favorite, hopefully before I'm too old I'd like to try a moose hunt. Looks like a great adventure! Keep the videos coming, blessings from Texas!
Man I wish I had a buddy like you here in Montana, fellow 6x6er. Just had another RU-vidr who said he was going to do some snow wheeling with me completely flake out. Wasted half of yesterday and all of today on his BS. He even has a smaller channel too and was happy to throw out his name to try to grow his channel as well. Our 6x6s almost look identical at this point, too. Although I don’t think I’ll be upgrading to 32s with bead locks any time soon! Did you get rid of that visco lock in the front? That will be my next mod.
Ah that sucks. Nothing worse then getting excited for a ride and have people back out last minute. Still rocking the stock visco. A smart-lok upgrade would be awesome for sure
Yes they are right out of the catalog, available at any Can am dealer. They work very well. I had my arm out the window most of the day and never got wet
Very nice. I am looking forward to getting out next week . Is there much engine noise in the cab of the defender? I have a 2017 commander and have to use earplugs. I need to convince the finance minister in my household that the defender is more comfortable . 😏
I'm ordering a 2024 Defender 6x6 limited in two weeks. I was going to order the XT but when the info came out on the new Limited I decided to upgrade my order. The Smartlok front locker addition was the game changer for me. This is a great video. There are very few like this. I've watched this one several times.
It is freaking BEAUTIFUL out there!! That lake looks massive! What lake is it? And. How long did the trip out to there take? 2-3hrs? Longer? I’m starting to really like that Defender. Those 6x6’s are little tanks! Glad you had such a great day out there. Looked like fun.
I can't believe you filmed this on May 7th and had the video posted the following day? Like WTF buddy; you're amazing! LOL! We went for a ride on that same day (close to your place) and I'm still loading all the footage into the editor - HAHAHA!!! I suppose I'd be a lot quicker if I didn't leave my camera running all day - LOL. 30:10 - those Whiskey Jacks are so smart! Beautiful birds! That's a beauty spot for a shelter (and a beauty shelter). Glad you guys made it in. Thanx for sharin'!
I’d forgot that the S-3 guys didn’t make it to the cabin. They’d loved to have made that trip. And I bet after Mrs Ousta fell into that hole she felt it the next day, because that looked like a hard jolt Great video y’all. Keep it upright and the roof towards the sun
The whole crew should head back there maybe with sherp for a improve trail maybe build a new bridge with campout bet club would helpout with costs with community
I run a custom barbwire and acreage rail fencing company in Saskatchewan. I run a defender pro xt the thing is awesome I ride trails all day but I’m pulling a post pounder and running barbwire. Hopefully I’ll stop the pounder for a weekend and find a atv trail for it. Thanks for all the content good job

I have the hd10 limited. And I live in New Mexico. It's registered and tagged. I can't imagine wearing helmets in my truck or car. Maybe it's like wearing a mask. It just feels safer?
