I think upgrading like machine guns and trenches should take some time and not be instant, for example the machine gun would take some time to set up so there would be some more strategic timing in the game

Also there could be a little animation for who the machine gunner is aiming at. I there is a dude at the top of the screen the machine gunner would aim at the dude.

It would also be nice if the machine gun was instead an upgrade to the trench and a soldier mounts it and the machine gun is in the trench instead of behind it also a new unit gunner. The gunner will mount the machinegun (if a unit that's not the gunner mounting the machine gun the gunner will replace them) and give the machine gun a damage and rate of fire bonus when the gunner is mounting it and if there are 2 gunners in the same trench one will repair the machine gun if hit while the other mounts it

Suggestion: 1. Make it so the final trench upgrade turns the trench into concrete. 2. Add a map with a river in the middle that heavily slows down troops that walk through it. 3. Make it so artillery strikes always cost medals, so they can’t be spammed as much, and to make medals much better in the late game, because at that point you are basically just stockpiling them. 4. It would be interesting if some units, like the shotgunner, would always be equipped with gasmasks. And maybe make it so officers are completely immune to gas attacks to slightly buff them. 5. Maybe add a way for bayonets to be added, that would be interesting, like give riflemen the ability to charge the enemy or something. And in a similar theme, maybe add horses as a cheaper version of tanks, since horses were still heavily used in WW1 6. Also, if it isn’t already implemented, artillery should definitely cause friendly fire if it were to hit friendly units. But it could already be implemented so idk. 7. Make it so that when units are in trenches that are fairly close together, like those in the second map, they are able to fire at each other, but with extremely low accuracy. This would add a lot of ambiance to the game, make it a little more interesting, and make snipers slightly less OP (you could still let them retain their accuracy while in a trench and also still give them more range than riflemen. 8. Make it so shotgunners will actually go ahead and jump inside the enemy’s trench. It would make them really stand out from the other units

Another thing for the officer would be that if you have an officer in your trench you could choose certain units to retreat, charge, or defend in the same trench the officer is in. Also instead of units automatically getting gas mask when there's an officer you have to click on the officer and give the command

SUGGESTION: 1. It could add some cool features if there was a wind system. Poison gas can only be released if the wind is favorable (blowing towards the enemy) If it isn't, and you release the gas it can blow back at you. 2. Add barbed wire in front of trenches, filling the empty space between trenches. This would slow down advancing troops (buyable for both sides)

One thing that might be fun is making the weather events dynamic. If the wind/rain can start/stop or change direction every so often it would add some incentive to time your moves. Maybe have a weather indicator for what's coming up.

You know once I saw you upgrade your trench fully, I thought of some ideas for trenches. 1st. If you have two trenches close to eachother fully upgraded, you can get an additional upgrade that links these two trenches together. So when a unit moves from one trench to another, they will go through the trench instead of hoping in and out of the trenches. This has some drawbacks though, since the enemy can also use this against them. You could also make it so that shotgunners are more effective in this trench line, but they're less effective out in the open. 2nd. Another upgrade suggestion could be ladders. This upgrade could make it so they leave trenches faster. This could be a nice counter to weather effects on movement.

I think for the night time setting, the officer should automatically launch a flare every two minutes that lasts for twenty seconds for precise arty strikes preformed by the player! This of course would make night time less of a challenge but it would be so cool! Have a great day Baron! :)

When I was a child I used to draw such a wars on paper sandbags machine gun posts artillery and my jaw dropped when I have seen that someone is making real game like this. One suggestion is to add suppression on attacking units once hit by MG. You are doing great job. Cheers

Suggestion: 1. Depending on how long a troop is on the field (i.e it hasn't died for a long time.) They will be "Sleep Deprived" which gives a effect of making the units slower. 2. When it is raining and you haven't upgraded the trenches, it makes the soil very muddy giving them a effect of slowness, and poisoning. 3. Add a smoke bomb, something that decreases the enemies accuracy by 89%: This also happens to your troops, if they are in the range, the enemies will also have range deducted , same as your troops if they are in the smoke. This allows retreats easily as the enemy basically cannot shoot you.

Exactly that would be great usually when I need to retreat it’s usually when they are very close to my trench so I’m they all get slaughtered on their way to the retreat trench.

Suggestion: 1.Maybe make it so where artillery hits there are craters 2. Another idea is so when you upgraded your trench to a certain level that there would be a underground room where you could sens some troops in to protect them from artillery strikes but they can't shoot enemy troops while in the room

The dugout is a good idea, the Artillery is countered by it, but gas will pierce it, but that gas is countered by wind, so it's like a version of rock paper scissors.

It would be realy cool if you could add an option for there to be a fog of war so you couldnt see what the enemy is doing unless you send out scout troop to scout out the area and scout troops would be more efficent at scouting than normal troops or tanks. Hope this helped and I cant wait for your response !!! Edit: You could also make it so you would be able too hear a wissle when the ennemy charges at you, The wissle can by shown by a marker just in acse the player didnt hear it :)

A sniper could also dual purpose by slowly revealing enemy targets in the trench, as well. Obviously a scout, like a plane, would be quite a bit faster but a sniper should also be able to assist IMO

A really cool idea would be to be able to build camps or headquarters which would spawn units there instead of at the start. You could fortify them and upgrade them to give perks to surrounding units. Another good idea would to have generals. They would function as a sort of hero unit. They could have special ability and/ or passive buffs. They would function sort of like a officer but with ore damage and health.

A cool feature could be a fog of war effect, you can enable or disable it before you begin the match, when enabled you can only see enemies when they are within range of one of your troops, could also add a recon plane to tag team with it allowing the player to see the enemy positions for a small amount of time.

COUPLE OF SUGGESTIONS!! 1. ADD an ICON INDICATOR for weather in game, complete with the description of what it does and how it affects units, maybe on the top near the time and it shows the effects when highlightred 2. i think you can make the artilerry less an RNG by making a small, moving indicator on where it would land inside the current range. That way it’s more skill based, and using it wouldnt feel like a complete gamble. You can still modify to make it LESS accurate at night by maybe making the indicator smaller and moves A LOT faster. That is the 2 most prominent fix for me, rather than content suggestion as a lot of people already suggest those. Otherwise i think the game is great, keep it up!

Another way the artillery can work is like you can find what power and angle to put the thing so you could figure it out if your smart adding a bit of brain power into the game but there's still a bit of rng with the weather so if your like a smart person it won't be 100% correct

something that might be cool is if any soldier can take over the machine gun once the machine gunner has died, but the new soldier is less effective or you get jams or firing malfunctions because they weren't trained in the machine gun

Suggestion 1:add holes that spawns randomly in with the map so tanks has a chance of being slow. Suggestion 2: artillery when a tank gets hit by it the tank's track has a chance to get destroyed and the tank will stay there until a unit reaches the tank and repairs it.

I think if a tank's treads were to get destroyed it should stay there and act as a temporary turret until destroyed. Incoming enemy units would attack it while running so it adds no downfalls except for extra defense to the person who summoned it.

SUGGESTION: Maybe when you upgrade a trench it also grants a duckboard, which allows units to walk on it over the trench. Without the duckboard, they'd have to hop in and out to get to a trench that's further down the line which would take more time

Suggestion: Add a Flamethrower that could easily clear trenches but if (like a percentage amount) chance to blow up burning all your troops.

A few suggestions: 1. The ability to have soldiers with armor. 2. Signal Flares to help artillery accuracy at night or in rain. 3. Heavily upgraded trenches auto-equip masks for soldiers. 4. Grenadier or Bomber unit that deals lots of damage to soldiers in trenches and fortifications, and tanks. That or the ability to upgrade soldiers to have different types of grenades. 5. Fully upgraded machine gun nests are made of concrete and cannot be destroyed by regular gun fire unless the trench is captured(as in infantry have the ability to destroy the nest only if they capture the trench). A Grenadier unit, missile tank or artillery could destroy it normally. 6. Incendiary artillery. This could block off trenches from enemies with fire. 7. Engineer unit. Could build barbed wire, cover and tank barricades. 8. Multiple tiers of tanks. You could have to upgrade the previous tanks or just have another that is more expensive. 9. Artillery makes dents in the ground for soldiers to use as cover. In the rain, these holes could flood. 10. Different maps with new terrain, like forests, housing, or even beaches for naval combat! 11. Destroyed objects can serve as cover for units. This would work well with suggestions 10 and 5. 12. New teams. You'll probably add this in the later parts of development; it's just important to remember that you can't simulate WW1 without all the key players.

A few suggestions to balance Mounted Machine guns: 1. When bought it doesn't come with a troop. If an officer is in the same trench that the Machine gun in protecting you can right click on the officer and 3 icons will pop up. Mount, Move, Cancel. move would refer to moving around the trench so you could space out your officers to be better prepared for gas (cause they're effect of gas masks is only in a radius) and mount would have the officer (I know you would have never guessed this) mount the machine gun. 2. At night time the people occupying the Mounted gun will sleep until attacked. Obviously they wouldn't sleep through the gun fire but it would take them a few seconds to get onto the gun to fire again. This would also add to the "Weather actually affecting the game" stuff. 3. During some weather conditions the gun would jam during battle, especially snow because water = freeze and that's not good for gun so this would add to the strategy part of the game. (Edit) This could also apply to tanks and artillery) Tdlr: 1. When gun bought no troop 2. Night time = sleepy for mounted gun 3. Gun sometimes doesn't work and needs to be fixed during rain-like weather

Idea for an update: Gas overhaul: The gas that is launched from artillery can spread into another trench or back at you depending on the conditions wind and the wind speed. Gas lasts a bit shorter in rain (Rain dilutes gas) Gas can be launched from a canister in trenches and also depending on wind can come back at you, sit in the place it was released or travel to the enemy team.

6:44 seeing this tank makes me wonder if you'll ever make the player choose between sniper and Anti-Material marksman. Yk kinda like a bloons TD upgrade system where you have to choose how you'll promote your soldier. Maybe not even soldier but class. Like imagine if the infantry would get lots of kills and farm XP and medals for you to upgrade them to Tier 2 meaning that all upcoming spawns of infantry will have improved stats? Or maybe scratch that whole idea and implement loadouts? Man your game has so much potential, I wish you all the best in finding the ideas that best suit your vision

Another option for the emplaced weapon spot could be an infantry support gun. The example IRL would be the French Canon d'Infanterie 37mm Modele 1916 TRP. It was a small, lightweight, and quick firing 37mm cannon which was used to support the infantry and take out pillboxes or other emplacements with HE shells. It would make a cool alternative to the machine gun, trading fire rate for explosive mass. It could also act as an anti-tank weapon!

I think it would be cool if sappers could make some new trenches either with lower protection for the soldiers inside it or they could dig between trenches. Making it safer for your units to move round or to blow up the enemies trench

Buffs like movement speed or aim improvement could be added to different commanders. Troops could also be bought in more expensive ways with some being equipped with anti tank weapons or mortars able to work like artillery but severely weaker maybe not killing so many or limiting the ammo count or lowering the cost count per shot. The range could also be limited with only mortars range only reaching 2 trenches ahead. You could also have built in bunkers at high trench levels with a troop capacity to better combat mortars, artillery. Gas could still get inside the bunkers since it will be air tight but you could change that. You could add a day cycle that could use all of the environments every few days / nights. Traps like mines could be used as well between each trench. Troop limits could also be added to stop troop spam. Troops could have an upgrade branch to allow better aiming or unlocked new weapons like flame throwers, machine guns, anti tank and faster reload time.

I think you could add a barbed wire upgrade to your trenches which would slowly damage the enemy if they are climbing over it and it slows them down. Also you should make it so that tanks are slower when going over a trench.

Suggestion: Gas masks ,,break" after too many uses, since in real life a gas masks only protects you for approximately 8 hours. So if the enemy calls in multiple gas barrages, after some time the units will just stop wearing those gas masks.

Suggestions: 1. Maybe I'ts an idea that you can lay mines down on the battlefield (or that a minelayer does that). 2. You can also add a soldier that has a flametrower. 3. Instead of a machinegun, you can also have the choise to have a morter. 4. barbed wires are also an idea.

The one thing I would really like to see is more permanent destruction on the Battlefield. For example: Corpses stay for quite a while. Maybe they leave a permanent helmet behind. Things like poison shells could be permanent as well as a lot of craters. I feel like it would really boost the ambience when you recapture a lost trench, seeing the remains of your fallen soldiers, craters left and right and an old gasshell still sticking out of the ground. Really hope that you see this, greetings from germany!

Ok so some suggestions only rebalancing some stuff, SUGGESTIONS: Soldiers should be able to go prone when asked to rush against a mg upgraded trench and have a 60% chance of dodging the mg fires. Proning should only work at fog or night time. Optionally, AA(anti -air) units can be added to lessen the projectiles dropping from aircrafts as some of the aircrafts will be shot down, some won’t. When fog sets in. The enemies won’t be able to see ppl moving, will only see em when they are at a certain range from the trench. Soldiers also can choose to push forward while being provided cover by tanks. Bridges should be added, so tanks can go across a trench. This should only work in fog of war or night time. Optionally, a unit “engineer/builder” can be made for this, they can also be made to be a requirement for an mg to be settled in a trench. Artillery that hits the space between trenches can create holes, which can be used as cover from gun fire.

You should conbat the problem of the enemy buying too much machineguns by adding special triggers to change the enemy ai. (For example, when the enemy gets 10 soldiers on the battlefield, it'll focus on machineguns, or when you get like 20 units, it'll focus on artilery)

That's also restrictive to the AI and is also only an issue if the machinegun keeps going *poof* when the trench is taken. If it gets a health bar (or units won't take the trench while being shot) it's a non-issue

Suggestion: for when you add wind speed, please add different wind speeds. Instead of having a bar that shows the wind speed, you should add a wind sock at the main base that faces in the direction that the wind is blowing at and the angle would change due to the speed.

I have a great idea for the Artillery. In sandy maps, it's less effective as the initial impact is slowed heavily by the sand catching up to 30% of projectiles. In muddy maps, it captures more, but due to the nature of mud being varying in viscosity and density, further artillery barrages can alter both the landscape (I.E make hills and divots that slow the enemy down), but also can send shrapnel that was not ejected from the original shell's landing flying at a slower velocity, bur combined with a fresh explosion with new shrapnel, can be more effective against enemies in the trenches. As they collect more water than the Land above, I'd think. Further Potential Ideas: Shotgunners have an advantage whilst attacking Muddy trenches but run slightly slower over muddy Terrain for balance. Faster over Sandy terrain and even more effective Attacking trenches in sandy areas, as the enemy has a harder time defending with riflemen and snipers but an increase in effectiveness with Machine gunners and shotgunners.

Suggestion: you should add a medic where they either just stay in trenches or run around places you captured looking for people to heal every medic can heal 5-10 people depending on the weather and when they run out of heals they turn into a soldier they also could potentially have a pistol as a défense but they never go attack they only go in captured trenches. Also talking about healing you should have an engineer which should repair the base and it also could build other stuff automatically without you spending money on it.

It would be neat if the artillery strikes have a delay between the order and the impact, to make the use much more tactical rather than a very fast anti-tank weapon. Also a more cosmetic suggestion, it would be cool if units lay up to the wall in a defensive position in a firefight from trenches, instead of just hip firing away

Suggestion: Support units like medics. If a unit is shot a medic can try and help it recover but it can only do one at a time so you need multiple medics which in turn increases the strategy. Also what about a grenader. Grenaders stick near the back and will fire different types of grenades. A smoke grenade that gives an effect similiar to nightime in that the attackers using a smoke attack first. Also a regular grenade which will kill 2-3 troops caught in the grenades AOE, kinda like a mini artillery. Also maybe we could have a fog of war. Your advancement in the trenches will allow you to see more and possibly a scout upgrade that will decrease the fog of war.

Suggestion: idk if you have done this but if you haven't, you could make artillery less accurate because that would be more realistic and you could make artillery shells make craters that would slow down infantry but also give them slightly better cover for the small duration they are in the crater.

For some couple ideas. When you were talking about weather, one important thing in trench warfare was weather due to being able to see your enemy or not. One thing you could do is having fog appear at a random chance where you cant see what your enemies are building, nor their fortification. Another idea I had was morale. You can have it where it affects the troops from heavy loss, which in turn can make it difficult to use them while lowering their performance. If they end up doing well, they get a small buff that could help them push a little more. It could be activated randomly from their officer that's still alive and near by, but of course at the time the snipers are focused on officers, which is another important factor to consider. The last thing you could do is add diseases due to trenches not being constructed well enough to sustain troops. It could be another morale factor too. Having heavy fortification will cost your troops morale or even cause diseases, that could slowly kill them over time or you could have a better sustained trench, but lose defense for your trench.

Hey! Something that I noticed while playing the steam demo is it seems like the best way to fight is to simply wait for the to attack, then charge until the next enemy trench is reinforced, rinse and repeat. I haven't found a better/more consistent way to win. However with what is shown on video I'm hopeful that won't be the same.

Suggestion: I think can be veryyy cool to introduce war fog, because in all the wars, including WW1, you usually don't know what the enemy has or is sending to you, so it will be cool if you could only see the trench in front of you, or a new scout unit for reconnoisance. It will be cool for this idea to have zepelins that will go above the trenches, give you reconnoisance and bomb their base if it's reached, I think it will be very cool, even tho planes were not that common yet in WW1, they were used a lot for bombing and as scouts.

Suggestion: Instead of troops dying instantly after a bunch of damage taken, It should be a hp bar of sorts where if the troops health is lowered to a extent they should receive a debuff. A example would be lower fire rate, worse accuracy or slower. Then a medic troop should be added to take away the debuffs from the other troops in its radius, like how the officer gives mask to the troops around it.

I think as a cosmetic change you can develop a system for skins that potentially have bonuses. Like Stick War Legacy. And maybe some events too that make it easier or harder for you. E.g.: you’re defending a fort, you get a bonus in defense or extra turrets or something while the enemy has an onslaught of people charging at you. Or the enemy has cut off your supply lines making money harder to come by or something, and vice-Versa. I think the idea of having a battlefield system like Ravanfield is pretty cool. It would also make sense to add a time at which the turrets are be built and or upgraded.

SUGGESTION: When using troops there should be an area/button that allows you to upgrade troops/trenches/tanks. When units are weaker aim will not be as good and weapon skill will not be to good and will not be good in bad weather. Higher lvl troops will have better aim,skill and training with weather. Troops with lower lvls 1-4 will not be as good raiding trenches and higher lvl troops will have smarter tactics of taking trenches. When an officer is upgraded the officer will give a weaker buff and little support, Higher lvl officers could give better equipment and tactics. Tank upgrades could be (lvl1-4) weaker armor,slower speed and troops inside would be less skilled. Lvl(5-10) would have stronger armor, better speed and smart units inside.

Add a tripwire trap that when an enemy occupies a trench, there’s a small explosion that could take out or injure 2-3 guys. +1 sub! I enjoy down to Earth devs and how proud they are to show off their games

Just a suggestion but upgrade paths for troops could be interesting. this would give medals another use, and add a layer of decision making for the players. For example you could upgrade the machine gunners eventually into tommy guns, which would have a very fast firerate but low accuracy or a minigun, which starts off firing slowly then speeds up until it hits a max and has to reload. just a thought idk

Well, for one, you should probably make it so you can only upgrade locations where you have people. Making the defenses stronger might also help, and I’d also suggest. Among the battlefields a lot larger. Having two spots at both ends seems pretty small. Putting two trenches right next to each other also seems like a problem. I’d put the trenches further apart and add defensive locations in the middle. Send too many people and there wouldn’t be enough space for them to hide.

Suggestion: add unrest within the army: if you have more casualties then the enemy, or less trenches then the enemy, you would get more unrest. High unrest makes units desert or not respect commands

That's kind of obnoxious, though, amd hard to balance. Not saying I dislike the idea but rewarding the winner and punishing the loser even more is kind of bad design Maybe instead artillery, gas and/or enemy tanks being in proximity causes morale drops which can affect accuracy? Since tanks are currently a bit underwhelming and (IDK about anyone else) being gassed/shelled would scare the heck out of me I think it's a reward for using combined arms well, as IRL, plus encourages more thorough assaults/tactics

Suggestion: idk if it would be implemented or mentioned in the video, but mud should be a darker brown visual so we’re able to see it and I also wanna suggest that it should make tanks stuck in the mud by 66%, and you should add grenadiers and support towers like medical and morale, another thing I want to point out is for a dialogue person called “HQ High Command”, as they help and support your way, and very last thunder storms should exist and should be special event in rain, where it’s like 15% or 10% for about 2-5 minutes, lightning can strike units and units will die, if a machine gunner or a tank is striked no harm will be done.

Something small, but I think it would be pretty cool if the soldiers had worse accuracy while wearing gas masks since they were extremely hard to see out of! It would also be cool if the officer had a whistle to queue the soldier to put on their masks! Maybe you could even make it where during an artillery barrage the soldiers wouldn't put on the masks because they couldn't hear their officers? Keep up the good work on the game though! I look forwards to playing it one day!

This might be VERY hard to implement, however it would be fun for visuals for soldiers after a while of not doing anything do an idle animation like sitting down or whistling. Also a mode in the options for bodies to stay on the battlefield, and soldiers to have to go through obstacles while charging.

Just a suggestion, but it would be cool if maybe if a unit stays within the trench for a longish while, they can get a debuff of sorts that slowly lowers their HP or something. And maybe have a medic unit that can prevent this as they can treat the soldiers, of course over a not too short not too long period depending on its severity. This is an idea I got from when soldiers in the trenches got trenchfoot and such during WW1.

I think you should add something like a room in random trenches so when there is artirely fire they can hide, upgrading trenches will increase the size that can hide in them and increase hp of the room when the room is destroyed you have to wait 4 minutes or more depends of the upgrades more upgrades means longer time

I have an idea that might make moving troops from trench to trench more easier and safer without having to send them over exposing themselves to fire. So this idea is just trench hallways. You can dig a passage from one trench to another if they are close enough to each other. This is to minimize casualties that might be taken when you are trying to reinforce one of your nearby trenches. If the enemy captures a trench that has a passage way dug, then you and your enemy's troops will start to engage in close quarters combat. Both sides will slowly lose troops but the latter with bigger numbers usually wins.

Another suggestion could be so you could place like a medic bunker and a small turret bunker near your trench to add a bit more customization too. Also connecting to the plane idea you may also be able to place like a small air field or smth or the air field could be some sort of upgrade for the base. A thing wich would be hug would be multiplayer . Suggestion 3: This could be used in the campain but maybe for multiplayer, you could choose whether you want to do a single battle or play like a multiple map battle so you know there is like territory chunks and and that and every battle you win you take that chunk and maybe when you take the enemies capitol (or possible your friends capital if you add multiplayer ;) you beat the enemy empire, Hope you like the 3 suggesyion and gluck with the game development. ;)

I think planes would just be shadows on the battlefield, taking off from an unseen point. Recon planes for a fog of war, bomber planes act as artillery but the strikes are in a line, and fighter planes can intercept bombers and recons making the enemy lose money.

Maybe add like a sapper/engineer unit along with a mechanic that makes trenches defences worse the more they are hit with artillery or cannon fire from tanks. The engineer will be able to repair this damage and possibly buff the trench defence? Also maybe he could be able to boost soldiers reload/fire rate that r in close proximity to him. Idk just a cool idea

I think for night time mode you could have artillery or just in general you could launch a flare so you could see and your team as well as the other team would be more accurate with the other team having a disadvantage because of surprise that would last like a couple seconds the flare wouldn't last that long but still. I think this would make it a little different and like how it might of been. I also think that a bayonet charges that could be a option or cost something idk but when the charge they wouldn't be able to shoot and would run quite a bit faster then regular also that way they would either be shot off or be in the trench there would be a disadvantage being they cant shoot and a advantage being they can run way faster this maybe could also be only a option for riflemen and the option could be under the trench or where ever but it could be called, Fix Bayonets of course you could change any of this and idk but this is probably a lot of work im not the game designers you guys are so take your time. Liking how this is going though. Also before you said anti tank rifles I was think what would they use to take out a tank I don't really know any better idea beside anti tank rifles so I agree with that.

Touching on the zombie idea, I think something along the lines of Stick War Legacy’s zombie mode would be cool where the zombies just approach in waves of different types, and make it so the zombies would jump into the trench making it a lot more vital to invest in machine gunners and whatnot to wipe out the zombies before they get close and it would make shotgun nets super useful to protect the interior

Idea: at night you can choose to fire in the trenches, but when doing so the enemy can fire back. To make it more realistic. And you should add a default map, medium map, big map, and a campaign mode. This would give the game fun, and everything should take time to build or produce.

I also think about some other weather affects that apply to everyone like say it’s a winter map all the soldiers will slowly take damage from the cold. Unless they have a blanket or a coat Maybe in summer some diseases will pop up

SUGGESTION: If these haven't been suggested already or they are already implemented then my apologies Units: Anti-Tank Rifle - Slower Hit Speed, But Much higher damage, with a target for armoured vehicles. German A7V Tank, Heavy Tank, slower movement speed, more health, 5 medals to unlock. Scout Car, Light utility vehicle, Effective against infantry. Bicycle infantry - faster infantry, made to capture open trenches, when in a trench, bicycle sprite is replaced with a single soldier with a pistol Game Mechanics: With weather such as rain, trenches would usually fill up with water, eventually being full of diseases which was a major cause of death during ww1, maybe we could have this added with the way to prevent it is through upgrading the trenches.

Adding mortars that can be moved slowly and will fire every couple seconds in the general direction of the enemy, the more they fire, the more accurate they get, this would give you an extra incentive to attack or for the enemy to attack to try to capture the mortar or destroy it.

theres a few ideas that you could add, 1st make it where if a guy with a gas mask gets shot they ether lose the mask or there chance of surving the gas decreases 2nd if you or the enemy attacks and falls it gots a chance to down grade the trench they or you attacked sence in real life the trench would get damaged to some degree during a fight and lastly you add where you can buy roads to your trenches that can buff your troops speed form getting from your mean fort to the trench your holding

As a balancer, in heavy rain give the tank a chance to bog down and infantry will stop to pull it out. for the trench issue if no one is in it, have a short timer and let the trench down grade until its neutral.

I think there should be a focused fire ability that increases all accuracy and if used at night gives no defect and provides 20% accuracy if clear. I think a radio operator would be good and it would be used with snipers to where you control them where they shoot and gives them a 100% hit chance on lvl 1 trench then minus 10% for every upgrade and only has a 80% chance against machine gunners also have the minus 10% every level. Suggestion: make guns have longer range but decreased accuracy with range as during WW1 MGs would open up seconds after units would go over onto no mans land and riflemen would take pot shots at enemy soldiers they would also often have flamethrowers

Adding like seasons would be cool. Like in the winter you’d need to warm your men with fire which would make it easier for artillery to hit at night. Could also work with snipers. Summer could make troops “overheated” during day thought this would require a calendar system

Suggestion: 1. For artillery at night, implement star shells that could be fired (possibly by a rear officer) that would increase the accuracy of your artillery while at night. 2. Add Anti-tank crews, either using rocket launchers or anti-tank rifles to better counter tanks. 3. Add Medics that could over time collect your battlefield casualties and revive them, though they either can't defend themselves or you have limited bed space. 4. Commando units could also be cool if they gained temporary invisibility or something along those lines. 5. Air support either through planes or zeppelins could be interesting 6. A capture the flag style game mode including a "Super Weapon" such as an armored train, weaponized zeppelin etc. where both sides push to gain control and the other that doesn't capture it has to try and hold out against them could be interesting I think as well.

I have an idea, I really don't expect this to go on but, 1. A new unit, Heavy, the Heavy is a slow but tanky unit, with a powerful gun similar to the machine-gun. 2. New building, Mini Artillery, this is similar to artillery, but with a limited range, HIGHLY expensive buying, and upgrading cost, but with high damage and accuracy. 3. New mechanic, Higher trench upgrades, the trenches now can upgrade to levels 4, and 5. Level 4 give the units inside better protection, sniper resistance, and higher resistance to artillery. Level 5 increases the same things, BUT with concrete protection around the trench, giving higher accuracy, and defense. Both of these upgrades are extremely costly, level 4 costing 3,500 and level 5 with 6,000. 4. Another unit, Runner, very easy to buy, fast recharge, low health, and damage. They wear no helmet and use a rifle, are faster than all units. When hit, they are guaranteed to be hit by anything. And 5. A medal costing unit, called the Destroyer, a large tank with 4 guns, the first 2 are machine guns, the 3rd one is an explosive gun, and the final one is an artillery gun, like the Mini Artillery but fully upgraded. This costs 50 medals, but is almost indestructible, needing 10 artillery shots to bring down, or 10 explosive tanks. The A.I. cannot buy this, only you, BUT you lose medals overtime after getting 20 medals, 1 medal every minute.

Officer on night maps should be able to shoot a flare to counter the enemies’ advantage, aswell with this, on night maps, you can’t see the enemy’s troops and the flare reveals them. Also with this, shooting reveals enemies at night.

Suggestion: give the officer the ability to order his fellow riflemen to put in bayonets and if taking a trench, the rifleman rushes in and melee attack the defending enemy but have more chances of being shot at and if defending, they will use their guns but will go for a bayonet charge after 3 shots.ALSO a cool idea, is that you give you’re solider veterency, like guns up, every time the soldiers attacks or defends and still lives, the more veterancy they become which I mean more less likely to get shot or less chances of missing but also if a veteran dies, then, the soldiers who are not veterans becomes demoralized, which leaves a effect of less chances of hitting a target and less chances of dodging, which last for 35 seconds
