@nickmotsarsky4382 it's a joke. Ppl have swapped genuine apple parts like swaping screens on iphones but it'll give them an error message saying it's not a genuine apple part even tho it is
Because the screen is also the keyboard, and Apple doesn’t cheap Chinese replacement screens to sniff your passwords. It’s really not that difficult to understand.
@@CrowdContr0lapparently you don’t understand how screens work. The keyboard is entirely in software, if you have a keylogger on your phone, it’s not because of the screen.
Actually as soon as you add a 3.5mm Jack it stops being lossless because you convert the signal from digital to analog. The dream is to get a direct USB-C to USB-C connection working. Still looking into it but it's not looking promising right now. If you want wired headphones there's way better options out there for way less money. That's why I settled on this compromise :)
These mods feel illegal... Check out kens channel here: www.youtube.com/@ExploringTheSimulation Grab the mod here: shop.kenp.io/products/41rp0d-max-usb-c-flex?sca_ref=6076685.RGbZx3mcVe
Imagine an iron man helmet but the ar tech is just an Apple Vision Pro inside the mask with pass through and the cameras are somehow outside without being too noticeable.
i think flat head screw might be a better option to hammering out that bracket ? Since you are not gonna use that lightning port ever again, its ok to damage it
hey as a student with the ipad 10 and the first apple pencil with lighning it is an pain to conect. So could you replace the ligning connector with usb s so you could plug it into the ipad 10 like the ipad 9 with ligning? it would be so cool to wach!
I wish he offered an alternative for the audio thing lol I use my AirPods Max daily for gaming and they sound fantastic, would've loved an option to use them wired while charging since Windows bluetooth is so cheeks lol
I wonder if some high strength alcohol and some time on the heat pad would loosen that glue from the frame. Still would likely need to be tapped out but maybe less forceful.
Everyone makes pulling out a dent in a speaker harder than it needs to be. The creases around the edge of indents on a speaker are what always what keeps it from popping back out into its natural dome form. If you push down lightly on every crease around the indent it will pop out on its own.
Quick question I have iPhone 13 it had 3rd party screen on it and the original proximity sensor on it was error about the display saying not genuine part put an original apple screen on and the original proximity sensor on and error msg went away for the screen, but I managed to get bit of water in the phone now getting Face ID error and display error and the proximity sensor isn't working now question is if I replace the proximity sensor will the errors go away? Or is the sensor coded? Thanks 😃
I tried those in store and they were not louder than the airpods pro. They didn't sound bad but there was nothing magical about them either. I thought there would be WAY more clarity to music but truly they are just oversized airpods pro
I wonder if the USB-C mod is only for “charge only”, since it doesn’t support audio through it to work with USB-C to 3.5mm. Meaning, will this be able to connect to a computer USB-C to USB-C / USB-A wired and the computer be able to see the device, or do wired USB audio?
It seems like the Lightning to 3.5mm cable for the airpods max is pretty special, so I'm not surprised the usb-c one you showed didn't work. I wonder however if using the genuine lightning adapter via a usb-c adapter could work?
They will probably make a Pro Max 2 after AirPods 4 and Pro 3, we don't have H3 Chip yet and the Pro Max is hella expensive, make a new version only for USB-C at that price... Sure it's Apple but it's not a good idea
Completely unrelated comment: I was cleaning my spacebar while watching this and learned something... While I already knew , and . (< and > but without shift) on the keyboard could change a video frame-by-frame, I did not know that holding spacebar makes it play sped-up in case you want to hurry ahead past stuff. Neat!
I'm working on a silly project.... Bought some XBOX/PC/3.5mm 4-pole microphoned universal headphones at GoodWill for $11. They sound great, but I don't like wired headphones .... So I'm going to transplant the amplifier from another stereo Bluetooth device, and add a battery. Hoping I can stuff it inside the earcup housings, but I truly never know until I feel like trying. 🤷 😅
Phone Repair Guru doing so much hardwork just to change the charging port whereas 3x better headsets in half the price comes with a fast charging USB C
I love the creativity of the mod and just people modding things in general, but doing all this instead of just carrying a tiny little USBC to lightning adapter in your bag is crazy work 🤣 + losing functionality is a hard no for me personally.
Apple's USC-C headphone adapter are for output only, not input. They wouldn't work with this in anyway. What you need to try is a USB-C to 3.5mm MALE jack.
I have a problem with my AirPods Max when using NC or Transparency Mode. When I have them on my head and pushing the cup to my ear (creating pressure in the cup) I am getting a crackling noise. Do you, or someone else, know why this happens and if it is fixable?
F*k this; The small wire that most old school wired headphones utilize isn't annoying enough to force myself to deal with all of this horseshit as an alternative.
Just... why? If you want to use only one charger, get a USB-C to Lightning cable. Problem solved. Adding #DONGLELIFE to the inside of the headphones is hardly an "upgrade". If anything, it might *slow down* charging, and it adds an extra point of failure. It's much better to have the adapter exist in the charging cable itself, so that you can easily replace it. There's no point in changing the port unless you're able to take advantage of some of the benefits of USB-C. When Apple upgrades the port, they will probably add faster charging, and possibly add support for some accessories. Anyway, don't do this. Always think: How can I solve this in the cheapest and easiest way? The answer is not "buy an internal port adapter and mod the headphones".
I'd like to know how to fix my airpods max from constantly disconnecting. It has to do with that tiny lightning-like connector on the ends of the head band. I'll clean the connectors occasionally and then they are fine for a while, but always end up acting up again.
